Ok...I will fall on the sword!
Hack picks up the Musket, and he aims at the nearest goblin from a position of cover.
How do I shoot this contraption?
I really have no experience with firearms because I dislike them and have thus ignored them since their inception in Pathfinder. What are my bonuses to hit and what is the damage? Is it a Dex based Att?
For House Rules muskets are Martial Weapons - as such, if you are proficient with Martial Weapons you're proficient with Muskets.
All firearms traditionally do "Touch Attack" on the first Range Increment (musket range increment is 40 feet). The House Rules apply Touch Attack for the first 2 range increments.
In your case it's a ranged weapon so it's BAB + Dexterity modifier. As the enemy is 130 feet away and the Range Increment is 40 feet that puts the enemy in the 4th increment, or a -6 to hit.
The damage is 1d12 for a musket.
Good Luck!
Kristin turns and gives you a glance -
"Keep it level, make sure the barrel is straight and the opening for the enemy's heart! Keep the other side flush against your chest - when you're ready, pull that trigger mechanism by your finger; but watch out - it'll have a kick to it," she says quickly.
Polux
Thanks for DMPCing Polux Dain GM - and yeah, we had moved to cover ;)
Shenkt "Hack" Corchran
Hack fires the Musket, very unsure of himself.
Musk AStt: 1d20 + 3 - 6 ⇒ (17) + 3 - 6 = 14
Musk Dam: 1d12 ⇒ 12
I assume that its a full round action to reload?
Dain GM
It is indeed a Full Round Action to reload each barrel of a two-handed firearm - a Standard Action for each barrel of a one-handed firearm (such a pistol) -
Your shot hit him badly - but it did not drop him.
Meanwhile, Kristin picks up a musket and attempts a shot as well, aiming for the same goblin you managed to hit a moment ago -
Attack -
1d20 + 5 - 6 ⇒ (18) + 5 - 6 = 17
If it hits -
1d12 ⇒ 3
EDIT: Hack - thanks to the combined attack that you and Kristin did - as well as Taissa and Polux - two of the goblins are dead, and four wargs remain...
Dain GM
Enemy's move -
Two goblin archers have fallen; the remaining two goblins seem eager to press the attack, but the wargs don't like that plan, it seems.
The pack turns and flees up the trail where they came from beyond your site leaving you in relative safety.
Kristin takes a deep breath and glances around.
"Damn - well; at least they're gone..." she says.
"If Taiss's is right that means there's a basecamp up the trail - likely they've gone back to warn their chief what happened here and possibly fortify their position."
"That said, you may be able to move up on them and catch them on the ground moving through the trees - if you're slick," she adds.
"Okay - so here's my suggestion - take a boat back to the shore and do what you can to search those bodies - don't forget your mate's gear, if you can. They left it on the ground when they were pinched."
"I'll stay on the ship and cover the beach from here and keep an eye out for Johnny - he should be here in about an hour or so... maybe..."
"Do what you can to get in there and see what you can to do to bust 'em out."
She rubs her chin, thinking a moment.
"It's said that a man judges others on the same scale that he weighs himself... I hope that's true... see; if the goblins think you're anything like them, they may figure we'll sail off without our mates 'cause that's likely what the goblins themselves would probably do... And if that's the case than maybe they won't have much of a watch... maybe..."
"If that's the case, you may be able to get in their quick and quiet-like and help your friends..."
"I don't know - but I wouldn't wait to find out," she adds.
Okay - so here's the thing: I'm heading out for the weekend; I'll likely be back on Sunday Night sometime around 8:00 PM (Weather permitting). At which point we can pick things up again.
So far we have Geser, Suny and Stefan in the goblin camp. There'a creepy half-orc who seems to be the boss, but is acting unusual compared to many other half-orcs - something's odd about him, but you don't know what it is - yet.
Full details on it are in the spoilers above.
You're in chains - but you may be able to use guile, cunning and some skill to bluff out information and try to get clues on how to help your friends. That will involve some social RP.
Tassia suggested trying to get allies from animals - that can be done, but you'll need to make a Survival Check - it will take some time, but if you can pull it off, you may have some animal backup. If your allies can aid you in tracking via Survival, it will save time - it will also save time if you tell me what type of animal you'd like to track - remember; it is winter, so there may not be many animals out there that are as helpful - but it's possible. Also, the terrain is like the American State of Massachusetts in terms of animal types and weather for purposes of what types of animals you may find.
NOTE: When you meet an animal you are able to speak to them; that means that you'll need to be able to do some Diplomacy checks with the animals. I know that normally "Diplomacy" is not a Class Skill for Beastmasters (I think) but I may change that when I get back and look things over. If I do that, you will be able to shuffle things around with your character if you'd like.
Hack and Polux - you can probably do some good stealth checks as well when you get close - you know that one building seems to house the bulk of your allies, but another hut has "movement" in it (as reported by Daya) - but that movement has not formally been identified yet.
GUYS: Please post all your actions, intentions and any pertinent rolls on the board while I'm gone. I'll respond to everything when I can when I get back; and I'll have an update on the enemy camp when I get back, too. I may have time for one more post before I go today if I'm lucky, but we'll see. Okay - good luck and I'll see you all when I get back!
PS - Congrats on the 1,000 posts - good times! :)

Aye, then lets get to the beach again, and search those bodies and get on their trail.
Hack jumps into the boat, ready to move to shore.
C'mon everyone.
When they reach the shore Hack will grab up his thrown axe and assist in pulling the boat ashore. he will then aid Taissa in tracking the animals she seeks to gather as allies.
So, Tai, what kind of animal tracks are ya lookin' for?
Survival Aid: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
He will then search the bodies, keeping a special eye out for healing potions.
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13

2 people marked this as a favorite.
Body search - all told (including the weapons your allies dropped when they fell) -
1. You find 2 Composite Longbow's with a Strength rating of +1 for small sized creatures (check ruling for information on what happens when use a weapon not for your size - no time for me to check/post here).
2. You find a total of 26 small sized knives on the goblin bodies (check rules for same).
2. You find a collection 225 unusual coins on the fifteen goblin corpses - they have a curious stamp on them. One side is what looks like a pyramid with an eye in the center; the other side looks like the head of a cobra. The metal is unusual -
The metal is bronze. It weighs the same as silver, but because of the process to make it, it is worth 1.5 the value of silver. So 10 bronze coins = 1.5 gold pieces.
4. You find 2 potions on the bodies - the brew is unusual to you -
The potion is a type of orc healing draught, you believe. If you take it, it will heal you - but it will also make you feel physically ill if you are not strong enough to endure its foul taste (full rules can be found in the spoilers for Geser/Stefan/Suny via their potions); not time to re-post it here.
5. The goblins are all wearing Studded Leather armor for small sized creatures. That's 15 suits all told.
Hack - your aid Check is great - as soon as Taissa is able to identify the type of tracks she's looking for I can set a DC and you'll figure out if you can find them - and if you do, if she can get the animal to aid you.
Finally - you see a short way up the path the body of the man that "called for your help". You suspect it was the goblins that called you, but it is clearly a human's corpse. You suspect a local woodsman, hunter or fisherman - possibly a native of the village a short way north of your current position. The skin has a very unusual color to it, though.
The human suffered a death due to a combination of things; it looks like his muscles were locked up - likely due to a type of poison - but the true cause of death seems to be asphyxiation. His chest looks like it was almost crushed - especially around his ribs and lungs - as if something crushed him enough to keep him from being able to take a breath.
This is how you suspected he died.
The man looks as if he was killed by a large snake - but there is no snake large enough to do this kind of damage to a man this big that is native to this part of the world.
That said - it couldn't possibly have been a snake that killed him; because - based on the wounds - the snake would have had to have at least a 1 foot diameter to its torso and been roughly 20-30 feet in length.
Since there's no such snake that is native to this part of the world, it's clear that the man must have died from some other cause - but what it is you don't know.
Though you may be able to figure things out with some good guesswork...
Okay - that's all for now - I'm just checking things at a break before I'm on the road, but now I really, really need to go. I'd recommend "favoring" this post for a copy of the loot. As usual - good luck!
Taissa Sloane
Taissa takes her pack and weaponry and calls Daya. She asks Daya to fly back to the shore and wait there for them but to be cautious in case other enemy arrives.
She takes to the longboat with Hack and Polux. Daya greets her on the foreshore.
Know Nature (DC 18) on potions: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
The two potions Hack found on the body of one of the goblins, Taissa has seen before and can identify easily. "I believe these are Orc healing draughts. They have a kick -- can fix you right up but taste foul and can cause sickness if one isn't strong enough to endure."
(Orc or Goblin remedy: It is a Cure Moderate Wounds potion – but it requires a Fortitude Save DC of 15. Failure means you’ll be Nauseated for 10 minutes and Sickened for 24 hours. Success means you’ll only be Sickened for one hour.
You are able to heal 3d8 + 6.)
When the body of the human is discovered, Taissa attempts to determine the true cause but all she is able to gleam is
Raw Heal check: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Know. Nature (DC 15) on what could have killed the human: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22
"A snake killed this man. Yet, a snake large enough to do this is not native to this land. The snake would have to be a foot wide in body and 20 to 30 ft long. It's strange. What do you think?" Taissa asks her companions.
Regarding +1 Comp Longbows for small creature:
Inappropriately Sized Weapons: A creature can't make optimum use of a weapon that isn't properly sized for it. A cumulative –2 penalty applies on attack rolls for each size category of difference between the size of its intended wielder and the size of its actual wielder. If the creature isn't proficient with the weapon, a –4 non-proficiency penalty also applies.
Taissa will take one of the longbows. She is proficient in their use, has the strength for it and will cop the -2 penalty being a medium creature.
Taissa picks up one of the longbows and tests it, noting its design for a smaller creature, but will make use of it as a backup weapon. She throws it over her shoulder.
She remembers Polux has a longbow and wonders if he would carry another, even with its drawback, "Polux, interested in this longbow? It is not designed for creatures our size but still can be useful."
Geser
"If you mean to do that to us, you'll take me first!"
He will not let his friends come to harm if at all possible, especially poor innocent Suny.
Sorry--that should have been in spoiler format all along...not that the rest of you have any idea, really, from that.
Shenkt "Hack" Corchran
I will take one of those healing draughts now, if I can.
Fort: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
healing: 3d8 + 6 ⇒ (8, 8, 6) + 6 = 28
Nauseated 10 Minutes, Sickened 24 Hours, but back to full strength!
Taissa Sloane
Taissa keeps her eye on Hack after he drinks the Orc healing draught. He seemed to have regained his vigour, but she wondered if he would succumb to the nausea and sickness from the foul concoction.
"If you feel sick, Hack, let me know."
Turning around to Polux, she asks, "Do you want the other healing draught?"
**************************************************************
Taissa decides it would be wise to get information from the air as the rest of them finished with the dead goblins and collecting articles/items they find.
Taissa will ask Daya to take to the skies and look out for any mountain lions, elk or wild horses in the area. "Do not search too far off or too close to the goblin camp. Fly back directly and tell me what animals you see, Daya, and where you saw them." Thinking Daya can fly close by/in surrounding area, maybe further up in the hills/trees. I don't want her wasting too much time searching and getting back to us. This will be time efficient inspection.
Daya's Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14 There's probably going to be penalties to this for distance and weather, right?
************************************************************************
When Daya is sighted returning to the group,
On the ground, Taissa will work with Hack and Polux to locate pertinent tracks, signs of wildlife in the winter landscape, determine weather for the next 24 hours, etc.
"The faster we find these animals and convince them to join our fight, the faster we locate our companions and rescue them."
Survival: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30 (+2 from Hack's aid for 32)
So Dain GM, we are looking for either mountain lions, wild horses or elks...if they are available on this coastline/area. In regard to communicating with the animals, wouldn't it better for Taissa to try her wild empathy on the wild animals (1d20+4) rather than a raw diplomacy check (as she has no ranks in it) (1d20+1)? And what time is it currently in game, please?
Polux
Ok, so Polux is at 17/27hp
With a second look at Taissa and the foul draught, the man ponders his options, then decides to simply drink it and be done with it - "Bottoms up I guess..."
Funky potion: 3d6 + 6 ⇒ (6, 1, 6) + 6 = 19
Fortitude Save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
"This is foul..." - he gags momentarily but manages to maintain himself stable enough to down the full beverage, and gain from its healing powers - "But it did hit the spot" - he nods at his half-elf companion.
==============================
While Daya is scouting the area from the air, Polux offers his aid to Taissa and Hack in finding animal tracks on the ground.
Survival: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Though apparently he seems to still be struggling against the foul taste in his mouth, and really cannot focus that much on the task at hand - "I'll stand watch" - he moves away, looking for a position to keep a watch for anemies approaching the beach.
Perception on watch: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Polux is just out of it all it seems :/
Taissa Sloane
Hack looking green around the gills, is clearly sickened by the draught.
Aye, Tai, I am feelin' like my innards are comin' out.
The colour in Hack's face had drained away and Taissa believed the man when he said he felt bad.
"It is foul stuff. You will feel like purging for the next ten minutes and then just feel sick until tomorrow. Breathe deeply in and out of your nose. You have to ride out this sickness, Hack. Keep your waterskin handy." Taissa felt sympathy for the large barbarian but in the snow it would be hard to find a plant that could aid with the nausea. Still, she would see if she could find one as she searched for tracks and alike.
Only if we have time, and it's somewhere along the track we are following... or even if such plants exist on this side of the coastline.
Know. Nature re plants/herbs to help with nausea: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Survival to find herb/plant: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27
************************************************************************
"This is foul..." - he gags momentarily but manages to maintain himself stable enough to down the full beverage, and gain from its healing powers - "But it did hit the spot" - he nods at his half-elf companion.

Taissa looked over at Polux and noted he was experiencing less issue with the draught than Hack. She nodded her head. "Good. It would be harder if both you and Hack were duly sickened."
When Polux moved to survey the foreshore, Taissa could see the glazed eyes and slight reaction to the draught and knew he wasn't going to be able to concentrate until the concoction settled in his stomach properly. "Polux, you better keep your waterskin handy as well."

Okay, Dain DM, our party of 4 (Tais, Daya, Hack and Polux) have all made our necessary rolls ... Survival (Tais and Hack combined) added to 32.
Dain GM
None of you are tied to any walls. You’re currently sitting on the ground leaning against a wall. Your hands are chained in front of you and your legs are not chained. As for your gear – you are currently wearing your armor. Any pouch or pack is tossed in a heap across the room from your current position. The weapons you were carrying were left on the battlefield, with the exception of Stefan’s wrist dagger which would have required a Perception Check to see and was not noticed.
”Your plans do not matter – you shall die, and that is an end to it,” he says with a flat voice.
The half-orc looks at Geser with a sneer.
”Ah! I thought you at least would have more wisdom than these fools…” he says with his slow whispering voice.
”But if you wish to meet the Father first, than I shall see that you do…” he says with a grin.
”But it shall not happen yet – not until sundown… then you shall know suffering.”
He gives you a flat smile.
”We can afford to wait, you see… your friends fled back to their ship and have sailed off without you. You are alone – doomed… and death is coming for you…” he adds with a chuckle as all the goblins laugh.
It seems you’ll have some time to do what needs doing later. In the meantime; take a look at the rules for Brief Rules on Unarmed Combat – in other words, if you hit an enemy with your fist without Unarmed Strike you provoke an AoO; also you can only do non-lethal damage. If you take a -4 to your hit, your attacks count as lethal – and you’ll kill rather than knock unconscious.
Dain GM
Taissa – you aren’t able to find anything to help with the healing draught made by these foul creatures. However, you believe that if you are able to study it better, you may be able to do so – but on the trail now; it is not possible to find something to fix it.
As you, Polux and Hack advance through the snow you notice that the trees are not only cut to a nice path as a human might make, but they are rather ruthlessly hacked aside, as if someone cut them for the pleasure of hurting the trees and nature. Axe notches on bark and branch as well as cruel slices simply to show a personal feeling of vileness are present.
You suspect that is the goblin-kind that did this sort of wanton destruction simply for pleasure.
As you advance, you notice a small stream a few yards from the trail, and as you advance toward it you observe that there are some tracks in the snow. Pausing to study them, you observe that they are the tracks of a mountain lion.
As you advance into the woods you move with stealth and guile, knowing that they prefer to ambush their prey.
After about 20 minutes of walking you can smell a difference in the air, but you cannot see anything. Yet you sense you are close to you what you are seeking…
You are free to call out and see if the animal will respond.
You are absolutely able to use Wild Empathy if you have better stats for it, I didn’t remember it. But yeah – go ahead. Also, part of what “seals the deal” is what you actually tell the animal and what you say to him. Okay – that’s all for now. More to come soon.
Suny
"Whut d'ye mean might know misery? I be miserable now more'n enough ta last fer-ever..."
Taissa Sloane
"The Spirits will be angered by such desecration of the land", she solemnly says in quiet voice to her companions.
When Taissa is close enough (or she gleams she is within some proximity), she stays Hack and Polux and begins making a series of non-threatening growls and mews. Searching among the foliage and snow-covered trees, she is hoping to cautiously draw out the hidden mountain lion and attempt to convince it she is friend and not hunter. She also takes a non-threatening stance but is ready in case the mountain lion attacks.
"I am Taissa. We are not invaders, great lion warrior. In the name of the Spirits, we seek audience and aid against a common enemy: the goblinkin. With respect I ask you to show yourself or allow me to draw closer."
Raw Diplomacy to call out using lion speak: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
I cannot use Wild Empathy at this point unless I am within 30ft of the creature and we are able to study each other (for approx a minute). So, I'm hoping to sway it enough to come out/show itself, using Diplomacy, and then try my luck with the Wild Empathy, if I am permitted. Dain GM, is this okay?
Stefan Lebeda
Stefan waits for an opportune moment then whispers to Suny and Geser,
"I have a dagger in a wrist sheath. When the moment comes I will stab the half orc by surprise and then flip the dagger to Geser as both Suny and I have training in unarmed combat. We must drop the half orc quickly to hopefully dishearten the goblins."
Dain GM
"I am Taissa. We are not invaders, great lion warrior. In the name of the Spirits, we seek audience and aid against a common enemy: the goblinkin. With respect I ask you to show yourself or allow me to draw closer."
From the trees a heavy cracking and crunching can be heard. After a moment a crash through the branches and a large mountain lion hits the earth by your feet and stares at all of you, sniffing intently at Taissa.
”You speak of battle – that is good. You speak also of killing those who defile my hunting grounds – this is also good – and you have respect besides….” he says with a fierce growl moving toward you.
He moves into your face – the smell of his breath is strong and reeks of rotten meat – and when he opens his maw to growl it is nearly overpowering.
He snorts heavily on you, then.
”The men who hunt here are dead; but their tribe honored the lion, the bear and the wolf packs – and now all of those men have been killed by the goblin-kind...”
He snorts against the damp snow, a touch of anger on his face.
”You speak of killing – then let us go to kill…” he adds with calm finality and follows after you toward the village.
You have a mountain lion with you to help purge the forest of these interlopers – he is not yours, but he is under your control during battle thanks to your cunning plans.
Now what?
Dain GM
Stefan waits for an opportune moment then whispers to Suny and Geser,
"I have a dagger in a wrist sheath. When the moment comes I will stab the half orc by surprise and then flip the dagger to Geser as both Suny and I have training in unarmed combat. We must drop the half orc quickly to hopefully dishearten the goblins."
I'm assuming you used Stealth with that communication, right? Just curious...
Taissa Sloane
Taissa turns to Polux and Hack and translates what was spoken between her and the lion, "He will join us to kill the goblinkin. He says their kind killed the tribe here that honoured the lion, bear and wolf packs."
Turning back to the mountain lion, Taissa bows her head and speaks in lion-speak,
After the mountain lion answers her, Taissa redirects her attention to Hack and Polux, "I am better with my bow and should remain in the back. Who will take lead? We must enter quietly and work together so they cannot surround us. Polux? Have you a plan that may work to draw them away from our companions and give us the advantage? Our mountain lion friend can wait hidden then spring and attack our enemy. He is a fine stalker."
Dain GM, I assume Daya has returned to us at this stage or she still in flight back to us?
Shenkt "Hack" Corchran
Hack nods in affirmation at the beast.
Aye, Taissa, I am not so light on my feet. Polux would be much better at sneakin' in, but I will be ready for a frontal attack when you need it.
Polux
Polux shifts somewhat as the massive feline comes ambling out of the brush, amazed at the way how Taissa is not only able to communicate with it, but also at the fact that she has also been able to enlist the aid of the mighty creature - "Amazing..." - he whispers to himself.
"I know how to move about unnoticed but I am not an expert at it" - Polux states - "I would assume that your friend is the best stalker of us all so I agree with the plan - I will try to approach as much as I can. When at bowshot distance, I will draw as many of them towards me as I can, dash away towards our new ally, and spring the ambush then. Meanwhile you would storm the camp, dispatching the ones left and hopefully look for the others. A loud growl could be the signal for you to start your attack, as we fall on the ones chasing me. Sounds solid?"
Dain GM
The lion licks his chops casually as he examines Taissa.
”I am Two-Kill; I was so named when I killed two wolves with one slash of my claws,” he says with some pride.
”One stroke – two kills; Two-Kill,” he adds with a nod.
”I will come with you to kill these goblin-scum. Let us go,” he says hopping down to the trail and moving up the path to lead you all to the camp.
After about twenty minutes the company manages to return to the trail and they are no able to advance slowly up the trail, the wind is bitter and blows hard into your face.
After a few moments you are able to reach the trail you had left earlier.
On the southern end you see the ruins of some medium sized buildings. You see four small huts – all of them seem to be dormant, for no fire or smoke rises from their chimneys.
At the far side of the camp is a large lodge; a single goblin stands at sentry at K:26.
To the west of the lodge is a medium sized building; it looks like it is possible stable, now that you are close.
There is no sign of any other enemy other than the sentry; though there are a few corpses laying in the snow.
The snow is still considered difficult terrain, but it is mostly trampled down. At this point you are able to put your characters on the map but I’ll need coordinates and a stealth roll for everyone on the map.
Geser, Suny and Stefan – it looks like you’ll have a chance to act before nightfall. Good hunting!
Dain GM
where are we on the map?
I didn't put you on the map yet formally until I got the placement of the others. They need to not only tell me coordinates but make a Stealth Roll. As for you guys, I have your positions already - but I was waiting for the other guys to put themselves up formally before I show you all where you are.
The evidence suggests that you're likely in the building between 25-30. It's the largest building on the map and has a guard on it.
The other guys don't know where the wargs are formally, nor do they know where anyone else is. But you at least know that everyone is in the cabin with you except for the one guard outside.
Dain GM
I would like to place Hack, but can I pick anywhere? From which direction dis we approach?
You approached from the south side; you were heading north. You are currently on line AC, but you don't have to be right next to each other if you don't want to. In other words, some of you could be on line 15 or 37, so you long as your horizontal starts on AC. Remember, there is a guy on K:26. Good luck!
Taissa Sloane
Taissa Stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
Two-Kills Stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25 (+16 if he can wait/hide in nearby tall grasses. So if he is in the underbrush, then his stealth is 33.)
Taissa will be at AC:13 (the other side of Hack -- hit from two fronts - harder to pick off?), obscured by the snow-covered fir tree (offering some cover?), with her bow readied.
Before I place Two-Kills, what is that dark green spot at X:23? Is that brush/bushes, felled trees/logs or a pit of some kind?
Daya
Daya's Raw Stealth check: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
Hovering close to tree AC:3, waiting for Taissa's instruction. Taissa instructed her not to screech or alert the enemy to their presence.
Dain GM
Taissa – X:23 is a brown muddy track. It’s where the path ended up on.
Everyone is posted except for Polux and Two-Kills. Remember, he takes up 5x10 feet because he is long in the body.
Taissa – Two-Kills has a +8 to Stealth and a +16 in tall grasses. He can be in underbrush if he is by a set of trees.
Also, sorry for the delay’s on postings. My muscles are kind of wrecked and I’ve been on valium all day due to the pain and that’s effecting my thinking, too. However, I will have something up as soon as I get the details from Polux.
Taissa Sloane
Two-Kills is at AC:10, hidden/crouched in the underbrush provided by the trees on either side. (I think there's a space between the trees where he can fit 5x10.)
Dain, I made the necessary amendments to the cat's stats and rolls above. I looked in the wrong section as I was rushing. Thanks.
Polux
Well, Polux is supposed to be drawing attention in another direction, to pull them towards Two-Kills, so he will approach from W:8
Stealth: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23

The following is the battle map Here.
The goblin guard makes a cursory glance around the ruins of the village -
Perception Check
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
EDIT: it seems that he sees something... He advances to Q:28 and is currently there looking around, though he may not have noted Hack because of his cover...
It should be noted - Taissa - the lion seems to be very edgy for some reason; but you do not think it is the goblins. Something else is bothering the mountain lion.
It's your move - take your actions; then I go.
Geser, Suny and Stefan - you are "Inside" the house. I have outlined it with a see-through grid. Stefan is at C:26 Geser is at C:27 and Suny is at C:28. The half-orc is at C:30. The rest of the enemies in the room are goblins.
Your move, gang!
Polux
Polux finds himself nodding first at Taissa, and then at the mountain lion for some reason, and bursts into action, shooting at the goblin.
I think Polux has LoS to Q:28.
Longbow Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 17Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
It's ON!

[dice=Longbow Attack]1d20+3[dice=Damage]1d8+4
It's ON!
The arrow slams hard into the goblin's chest and he lets out a loud shriek, and falls to his knees - up, but still moving.
Oh it's on 'till the break of dawn, bay-bee!
As he hits the ground to his knee, a warg rushes out of each of the four small huts and three goblins rush out of the main lodge in the back.
They are all armed with daggers; and so far none of them have bows.... yet.
New battle map Here.
The wargs can be found outside each of the four huts - they are all in full health.
Good luck!
Polux
Guys, I'm not sure if you want to do anything before Polux's next action, because he will rain hell again. Dain GM, we are not on init yet, are we?
Taissa Sloane
Taissa waits patiently in her hiding spot by the snow-covered firs (she attempts to remain out of view of the enemy). The plan was for Polux to draw the goblins closer toward the hidden mountain lion and her and then spring the ambush.
Taissa's Stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25
Two-Kills golden eyes watch the four Worgs appear out of the huts and he waits patiently but ready in the shadows/underbrush, not wanting to give away his position to the large wolves or the goblins.
Two-Kills Stealth: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (9) + 16 = 25
So Taissa and Two-Kills are holding as part of the initial plan.
