I'm OK with taking ten on a stealth roll, but this is a slow patient stealth, 5 feet a round (unless there is a feat or some other complication of that sort. In the interest of moving along I'll let Ayla's take ten stand, but not in future. BTW you would have being better taking the chance with the roll IMO

I have revealed a bit of the map on opening the door at the top of the stairs (I am assuming that is the way you are going, if not I'll say you had a quick look.) After waiting a few moments to make sure they haven't been detected, Criek taps Valia on the arm and motions to be let past so that he can skulk forward to peer around the corner. If they've really got Val here, we need to know -- don't want to risk her in the confusion if we continue blindly?

The party moves out and sees...
The revealed map. There are four rope fists, two on the catwalks, two on the ground. Garmen and the other man are on the ground, and you can see val tied up in the corner, gagged. There is a strange silver/grey metal box with indicator lights, and a dish on the top set up beside Garmensatellite dish guys. Also Garmen is the non ropefist avatar closest to you.

to be clear, the tan area on the map, where we are, is catwalk, and the grey floor area with the crates and such is below us? is there a staircase to the catwalks in this room, or just the one we came up by?
Criek quickly takes in the scene, spotting Val and letting out an "Ah!" of relief, and then,

Criek advances warily along the catwalk, trying to size up the combatants on the floor below while keeping his distance from the thug on the catwalk. Seeing Garmen blinded for the moment -- I don't know Sarvill to be any great fighter...but if he's the League's agent here, he must be dangerous? I can catch him flat-footed and keep him away from Val!

For sure. There were two bombs, one in the surprise round, here targeting Garmen for 18 to hit touch, 15 damage. In first full round, I threw another bomb and hit Sanvil, 11 damage. Neither bomb had anybody close enough for splash damage. Since the staggered only lasts one round, Garmen would recover by now, but I want to make sure the damage gets noted! :)

Criek's eyes go wide as the ropefist runs at him, shaking the catwalk, until he feels Sharae's presence at his back. At her words, he dives backwards past her, tumbling out of the brute's reach.

criek, I think you are cheating yourself on splash damage. alchemist bomb splash damage is the minimum bomb result (reflex for half). For you that is 7 damage (2 (from dice damage) + 4 (Int bonus) and 1 (point blank feat).
