Okay
One of Kent's arrows pierces through into the minotaur as it bellows in fury.

The Halfling attempts again to disarm 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20 barely missing the weapon as the minotaur was able to hold on.

Carini jumps across the river and makes her way towards the minotaur, whom she attempts to trip with her guisarme. "Somebody come help Janira; I'll try to keep this thing busy!"

[ooc] The minotaur would get his attack of opportunity at the same time or before the attack from Carini? [/ooc\
___________
Carini hasn't done anything that would trigger an attack of opportunity. She has the Improved Trip feat, and is using a reach weapon. The AoO that I posted is for the AoO that Carini gets if the minotaur attempts to stand.

[ooc[ The minotaur though has reach due to its size [/ooc]
Yes, the minotaur has 10' reach due to size, and Carini has 10' reach due to her reach weapon. Neither is currently moving through the other's threatened area, so neither provokes. If the minotaur was just tripped, and it decides to stand, *then* it will provoke.

Dumb autocheck on the phone. Janira does not move and neither does the minotaur as it bellows in frustration,
___________
I see table variation on how to deal with a prone target. Since prone grants a penalty to AC, I don't add anything to my attack roles here. Just FYI.

As Kent rushes to check on Janira's status, Carini kneels down next to the fallen halfling. Allowing for no delay, she draws a potion vial from her belt pouch and tips its contents into Janira's mouth.
Actions:
Move: draw potion of cure light wounds Standard: administer potion to Janira
clw:1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Cure Light Wounds, PRD wrote:
When laying your hand upon a living creature, you channel positive energy that cures 1d8 points of damage + 1 point per caster level (maximum +5). Since undead are powered by negative energy, this spell deals damage to them instead of curing their wounds. An undead creature can apply spell resistance, and can attempt a Will save to take half damage.

The potion does not work on the Halfling, her body is terribly broken and cut from the minotaur's ax and gore.
He pauses for a moment to offer a silent prayer for the soul of the redoubtable halfling, then draws himself up.
"This does not change anything. We still need to finish the mission - properly charting these caves. We know why the Gillmen come here; we found some interesting designs (which we recorded); we just need to finish our map. Then we can take our fallen guide/leader back to the Grand Lodge, so that she can be added to the Wall of Names. Her sacrifice will *not* be forgotten..."

Gathering the body of the Halfling you travel back to Absalom without further incident. Once safely back in the Grand Lodge, Master of Scrolls Kreighton Shaine inquires excitedly about what you have found and asks to see your notes. He compliments those who recorded notes for being certain to write down ideas and observations while the thoughts are fresh, observing that it’s difficult enough to remember what one had for breakfast the day before as it is to recall exactly what one was thinking while studying an inscription.
He expresses his sadness at the death of the Halfling.
As you are now the foremost authorities on that cave and what it contains, Shaine also invites you to come up with its name. The elf is certain to compliment Janira for her guidance and assistance, much to the halfling’s delight. He is pleased to hear that you saved her life, and takes this opportunity to reiterate and remind you that being a Pathfinder is a dangerous business.
Three days later, the Master who best represents your interests confirms you as a full Pathfinder field agent. As part of the ceremony, that mentor also gifts you with a personalized wayfinder, reminding you that this is not only the symbol of the Pathfinder’s trade but also a reminder of the three principle duties: explore, report, and cooperate.
I will try to get chronicles out by the end of the week, first week of school and all.
