Taunk Ironthane
Taunk thumps onto his back with only a handful of loose soil for his effort. He gets up and dusts himself off and goes to try again.
I'll try again. Since I'm not in a combat scenario can I just take 10 on all of the climb checks? That gives me a consistent 19 and we'd only have to roll for the 30% fall chance.
Taunk Ironthane
Now triumphant, Taunk climbs down from the boulder and starts examining it more closely. I took 10 earlier for Kn: Engineering, I assume it carries over in this case.
With no explosives off-hand he would have to resort to brute strength. Luckily, that was something he had a great deal of. He firsts tries to simply push the rock over.
Strength: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
Failing that he draws his shield and starts smashing away at the ground below, hoping to dislodge the rock before any of the goblins below take notice.
Attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20
Attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29
Attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (11) + 11 = 22
Attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29
Attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (8) + 11 = 19
Damage: 1d6 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18
Damage: 1d6 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17
Damage: 1d6 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14
Damage: 1d6 + 13 ⇒ (2) + 13 = 15
Damage: 1d6 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17
Hopefully Ethos was ready to take advantage of the coming confusion and the skags were hungry. It seemed a shame to have all of this effort go to waste.
GM Wolf
Taunk hefts the boulder and the thing topples from its location down upon the vehicle and sharpened scrap metal.
climb DC 17 to not follow the boulder down: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
climb DC 27 to grab onto the wall as you fall: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
acrobatics DC 15 to negate the last 10 feet of the 60 foot fall: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
Taunk falls after the boulder down the cliff side luckily it slows his descent by a few seconds as the boulder slams into the vehicle which explodes. Metal shoots every direction but up. The scags all get hurt and the goblins are even more surprised by what just happened. The goblins bolt for their dens.
The dust begins to settle and Taunk lays on top of the boulder banged up from the drop, damage: 6d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 4, 4, 2, 2) = 20. The scags move around the boulder and charge into the goblin lair and chaos ensues.
Ethos Blade
climb DC 17 down the cliff to the scags and Taunk: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15 No
climb DC 17 down the cliff to the scags and Taunk: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18 5 ft.
climb DC 17 down the cliff to the scags and Taunk: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21 10 ft.
climb DC 17 down the cliff to the scags and Taunk: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9 20 foot drop.
acro DC 15 to negate last 10 feet of drop.: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10
damage: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 6) = 10
A tap on Taunk's foot and you look up to see Ethos with his free hand touching it. His off hand holding a short sword and looking around for threats. He says one word, "Ready?"
CL4PTP
Claptrap is up early in morning working hard on repairs for the outpost (or at least it seems that way. Claptrap never stopped working), installing piping in a seemingly haphazard and random fashion.
Once people start waking up and milling about, Claptrap starts asking around for Taunk.
Have you seen the green Fleshling that goes by the name Taunk? I had wanted to ask him about that immovable rod I had noticed he had acquired. I figure that would make an excellent emergency brake for the buggy we are working on. I imagine if I installed it, the buggy could stop on a dime!
No. I am not going to do this :) using an immovable rod as a brake would probably rip the vehicle apart :p
But I do I want to barter for it :)
Also, this is happening the morning after your adventure with the goblins, so a bit in your future :p
Also, i read that you want to build a tank at some point. What would you do if I told you I already have a set of plans for how to build a tank in pathfinder? Its an expensive pipe dream, but... >:)
Edit: Claptrap is down 2 extracts, 1 bardic spell and 1 bomb from not resting.
Sledj
Sledj enjoys his night sleeping in the doctor's hut, breaking his fast with some lovely roast Pork Chop.
"Nope. Ain't seen him since he went after them gobbos."
Taunk Ironthane
"Uuugh..." moans Taunk as he rolls off the boulder. He reaches into his hip pouch, pulling out an iron flask and downing the bitter brew within.
Drinking Potion of Cure Moderate Wounds Healing: 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (1, 2) + 2 = 5
He responds to Ethos while his poor ribs stitch themselves back together "Not really, but we may as well get on with it. You're taking point Smiley."
With shield at the ready Taunk prepares to follow Ethos into the goblin den.
You find Taunk peacefully asleep under a pile of sheet metal near the town gate. Apparently he spent the night outside of the wall. He doesn't wake up when you approach.
Well, I was actually planning on turning the buggy into a FrankenTank based off of the statblock provided in the modern vehicles. Since this setting his hi-tech I figured it would be feasible. Of course, I'm always open to suggestions.
GM Wolf
Taunk and Ethos I am going to move this fight along since you will likely wipe the ground with the goblins and scags now that they are all occupied with each other. Roll 1d20 plus your character level, an ability score modifier of your choice, and +2 for the chaos. Good luck! The DC is 10 success with half hp, DC 15 for success with 3/4 hp, DC 20 for no damage from the fight. Careful some of these DCs might get you dead. Then 1 relic staff for each DC accomplished. If conscious after the battle you can collect 1 more after searching the site. Please describe your actions as energetically and RP as possible.
Ethos Blade
Ethos actually breaks a smile and off he goes following the scags into the chaos.
Overall roll for the hunt: 1d20 + 3 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 3 + 5 + 2 = 15
Ethos is a killer and in his actions you can see it. His blade slices here and there, using a fight always to his advantage flanking and cutting vital parts of scag and goblin alike. He takes a few strikes as he creates a wave of blood in his path. He even disappears once in a while to reappear somewhere else to create a final stroke impaling the target upon his blade.
Taunk Ironthane
:(
The HUNT: 1d20 + 3 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 3 + 6 + 2 = 16 8 damage taken
Searching After: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Salvage on Exploded Vahicle: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Whereas Ethos is an elegant dance of blades, Taunk is more akin to a raw engine of destruction. He follows closely into the fray, relying on his massive bulk alone to guard him from blows. In return he sends goblins with his own strikes. He keeps an even pace with the experiment at all times though with far less in the way of restraint. Even when the goblins inevitably find their target he carries on with his rampage; leaving the unfortunate creatures disarmed by way of having their weapons lodged in the half-orc.
In the aftermath Taunk finds Ethos once more. He is breathing heavily but otherwise still alive. "Had your fill yet, friend? Didn't think you'd keep up as well as you did, but I think I won in the end. Got about eighteen of 'em, big counts as two." he says with a sense of pride. Surely there was no way the other man would be able to match his mighty kill-count!
Ethos Blade
Ethos walks up not breathing much at all, then he breaks a smile "Only eighteen? Thirteen goblins and eight scags counts up to twenty-one. Fill of blood, never, I was made for this by my parents and then by the corporation. This is what I live for." With that he runs off to the side cutting down another goblin, a helpless child. Then he jumps into the darkness beyond. An echo of a word can be heard soon after, "Twenty-Two."
GM Wolf
Taunk you can find some items that might work but with the vehicle smashed and then the resulting explosion nearly nothing is recoverable, anything salvaged would need to be repaired. 3 crystal relic staffs for Taunk and 2 for Ethos.
Taunk you don't think Ethos shadowed you back to the camp but you didn't know he shadowed you in the first place.
Sledj
"I'm bored! Someone point me towards some baddies what need bashin' and burnin'! Don't wanna sit on my duff stirring up fire-juice all damn day!"
Aannra...Blake
"that sounds fun, is over there"
She comes over and points at the computer display.
"Bandit country, we could go get one, bring them back and ask them tactical questions"
Aannra...Blake
"Boss man V, where heading out to do a recon of the bandit town, and see if we can nab some one for Intel, back seen'"
Checks her blaster, slips her knife in her boot, and is ready to go.
"come on then let's see who we can snag"
Sledj
"Mebbe not a big 'un, or one a dem Psychos. Dunno how much useful we'd git outta one a dem. Do they have boss-brains bandits? Smarty pants what give us intel?"
Aannra...Blake
"we see one telling others what to do, that's the one we nab"
She says with a grin,

Her skin changes color to match the background
Using power comelion stealth now 24
Sledj
1d20 ⇒ 18 Stealth (oh right, not trained in that)
Sledj heads for cover, looking to stay behind solid objects and decent hard cover.
Aanra practically vanishes, as far as he can tell.
Aannra...Blake
Takes 10+24=34 to get close
Perception 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9 Nope seeking a target
Slips ahead with her stealth on, looking for any one to target for a kidnap.
GM Wolf
Aannra and Sledj approach the bandit camp without being seen. Up front there looks to be a few candidates for being grabbed. A raider has ventured off a separate path down to the left. A bandit with a pink Mohawk appears to be sitting off on his own to the right of the camp but has moderate visibility to the camp itself. Finally there is a look out up on one of the walls though you will have to climb up a makeshift ladder of scrap metal to get to him otherwise the 20 foot climb would require a DC 20.
Sledj
Take 10 climb +11 = DC 21
Spotting the lookout up in his perch, Sledj stalks over and starts to quietly climb up.
Once within striking range, he grabs him from behind in a stranglehold, looking to choke him out before anyone notices.
1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30 unarmed strike, 1d3 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9 damage, Grapple 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19

Post up and waits while Sledj deals with the look out.
She looks out for others who may have seen them.
GM Wolf
perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16 DC 10
Sledj gets halfway up and the look out notices a noise, he looks around and before Sledj can get to him he spots the orc climbing up to him. He yells out and the camp becomes alive as they look for the threat.
crossbow attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25 damage: 1d10 ⇒ 1
crossbow confirm: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19 damage: 1d10 ⇒ 10
scimitar attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20 damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Once Sledj does make it up, the lookout is ready for him with scimitar out.
Aannra...Blake
Looks on as the orc gets in engaged in combat on the top of the wall. As the camp comes alive. Her combat mind kicks in, all play is gone, she runs over combat imprinting to find options. One springs to mine over and over.
She moves back and to the left, leaving the Orc as a distraction, and getting ready to enter the Camp away form that area or try and take a target alive if one comes to light.
Sledj
Sledj realizes it's about to get real ugly real fast, and smashes his foe.
1d20 + 11 ⇒ (7) + 11 = 18 to hit, 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9 damage
Aannra...Blake
Stealth take 10 = 26. Power used 1pp 4 mins, Metamorphosis Minor You gain a climb speed of 20 feet.
Some ways off she gos up and over the wall.
GM Wolf
The lookout looks at the orc in disbelief with the bolt in his shoulder and a good slash of his weapon at the orc's head and it is still coming!
He takes another hit from the Orc then retreats, out of range and jumps, landing prone taking some damage and getting up to see the rest of the camp coming to his help, or just for the kill.
Aannra slips off unnoticed and soon finds her prey. The raider with the pink mohawk is still sitting off to the side from everyone else and enjoying a smoke.
Aannra...Blake

Claptrap finds Taunk sleeping under some sheet metal outside the gate in the early morning hours and rolls up to him.
Good morning sunshine!
But when that fails to wake him, Clappy pulls out a detonator cap and some wiring, and fiddles around with it a bit before placing it by Taunks ear...
fssssss....BANG!!
Goood Morning Sunshine!
-1 detonator cap. Probably not the best way to start negotiations :)
I desire to do negotiations with you. I had originally wanted to intigrate your immovable rod into the Buggy as a braking system but a projected analysist shows that may not be the best idea...
So. Would you be willing to trade? Eridium, slave labour, my left kidney?
what might you be interested in? I can also do a rush job on the truck if that interests you :)
Edit: i also have an unidentified erridian artifact...
GM Wolf
Four of the bandits can still see him and they each take a shot even with the concealment. Two of the shots miss due to concealment, but the other two hit Sledj, only one of them hit as a bolt from a crossbow slams into Sledj's shoulder, 5 damage.
Some of the bandits simply stand in awe at the display and then wonder as the smoke begins to dissipate why the orc is still there. Meanwhile Aannra has gotten scott free away with the pink mohawk bandit.
Taunk Ironthane
As the detonator goes off inches away from his face Taunk is brought abruptly from his deep sleep. Unfortunate, as the first thing he is met with is the solid piece of sheet metal sitting just above his head.
He rubs the sleep from his eyes with one hand and the growing welt on his head with his other. "I don't have much bud, though I haven't turned in for my last bounty yet. Right now I got some weird weapons and junk that I ain't using; you can have them if ya want. Speaking of the buggy: how's it coming? Did it survive the night alone with you?"
His eyes light up though as he realizes something that the Claptrap had said. "Wait...did you say 'Eridimum'? What's that?"
CL4PTP
Ah. Thats fine! say, among that "junk" you have, would you happen to have a 2 foot long-ish metal pole with a button on the end? It is that I seek, and i would be willing to trade my left kidney for that! Its still preserved!
Or, maybe some of this.Claptrap pulls out a glowing purple block, it looks like a bar of gold, but purple and glowing...
Eridium is a type of elemental stone that is found only on Pandora, being both rare and powerful, it can be used for a multitude of things! It can be used as a universal power source, highly explosive, can enhance weapons or simply used as another form of rare currency. I like it cause its purple. and Explodes!
K: Local: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (13) + 20 = 33
That is taken from the wiki, mostly. Is there anything you would like to add/take away GM wolf?
Ethos Blade
Ethos can possibly be seen stalking around town, but he is working reconnaissance right now so it might be pretty hard to see him.
Taking a ten, so 18 stealth check.
Sledj
Sledj downs an extract of CLW and jumps from the platform.
1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 healed
1d20 ⇒ 1Acrobatics
He hits with a heavy thud 2d6 ⇒ (6, 1) = 7 damage (14/38 hp)
GM Wolf
Sledj is not prone but not for long as he can hear the mob of bandits coming down the path. Off he likely runs and when the bandits get to the entrance of the way into their camp and give up and head back to their camp.
Soon everyone is back into town. Please post your daily actions for this day. Roll any checks that will be needed.
Sledj
Running away, totally not because of fear of imminent death or some such nonsense, Sledj tosses a few empty threats and epithets over his shoulder as he goes.
Aannra...Blake
comes into town with a knocked out bandit, ties him up and waits for Sledj, As he comes in she smiles.
"Good plan, you distract em while I nab one."
Then she calls the others to see who is good at getting intel form a sleepy head.
