Hi there, I'm french. Playing and mastering on this forum since a few years now (Feb 2012 as a player, May 2014 as a GM).
Never played this AP, but the pirates theme is interesting and I feel refreshing to play something else than a do-gooder.

Greeting y'all!
I'm from the U.S., living on the west coast. I'm a law student, but I can post most days at least once. This first week might be a little tough though, since I've a paper rough draft due Friday.
I've done a few pbp games before, mostly on other boards, but this one should be a great time because PIRATES!

That's fine man. Nobody joins a PBP and expects to go lightning fast.

How's your paper going? Just think, when you get done with that, there's a nice rope up into the rigging awaiting.
PIRATES!

He will be back, I believe in it. If not, I'll drum up a replacement. ANYWAY I am copy/pasting this across the three campaigns.
Just a couple of notes guys:
1) Please format your posts correctly. Speech should be in bold and in quotation marks. Inner thoughts should be written in italics. Proper use of capitalization and sentence structuring is necessary.
2) PLEASE do not read any of the other Gameplay threads, or read any of the spoilers marked for other gameplay threads that will be added to my profile. Also, do not read any spoilers aimed at another player, or any spoiler marked DM Rolls. This is not for my benefit, this is for your benefit. You will ruin the game if you peak behind the curtain.
Any questions or comments, please do not be afraid to air them.

1. I try my best but but a lot of my posts are from the phone, so it makes it really difficult & time consuming.
2.Why would I ever do that? It takes the mystery away from the game and that's an important.
Anyways I do hope he comes back. Finding new players can be a crap shoot.

If you can/want look at the wayfinder app. It works great

Just quickly letting you know. will be busy from today till later this weekend. We are getting a kitten(Siberian), which wasn't due to happen till almost the end of the year. Change of plans made it possible to get him sooner. So today and we are getting ready to receive him, and tomorrow we fetch him.

"Permission to come aboard!"
Hi, folks!
I'm (Piratey) Steve and I live on the East Coast of the USA. I'm a long-time D&D gamer who got the PFRPG Core Rulebook when it came out but only recently seriously started trying to learn the game system and its differences from D&D 3.5.
I've got some posting limitations (which the GM has graciously OKed) which I'll outline in a spoiler below. I figure if I post my potential posting times beforehand, I can save you folks some unnecessary checking if you're waiting for me to respond to a post or question.
I've been out of work with a bad back (among other things) and don't have home internet access. I rely on my local library's free Wi-Fi, and luckily it's close enough that I visit it about 5 days each week, getting in some much-needed walking in the process. Anyhow, here are the hours you can expect me to post.
Sundays (and Holidays)--Library's closed. Posts unlikely (at least 'til football season, then 1/day).
Mondays--12 PM to 8 PM (Eastern)
Tuesdays & Wednesdays--10 AM to 6 PM
Thursdays--12 PM to 8 PM
Fridays & Saturdays--9 AM to 5 PM.
I'm not at the library for the full 8 hours every day, but I'm planning some of that for the summer months (Heh--free AC to go with the free Wi-Fi ;)

I usually push the story forward in my groups but they sometimes don't appreciate it. I think we need to just roll our actions for most days on the boat rather than RP all of them.
I don't actually mind being told a story if it advances the plot.

I'm still here and chomping at the bit. I'm waiting to see how my character is introduced into the storyline (Perhaps he had a particularly bad reaction to the drug that rendered him unconscious and only now is well enough to join the crew?).
I enjoy RPing but also tend to push the story forward when needed.

May I suggest we instead use google slides? I'm rarely at an actual computer so roll20 will be hard for me to use less someone just moves my piece and explains things to me.

Sorry I'm a bit slow to post at the moment me' hearties, I've got final exams going on for the next two weeks. I'll post as I'm able to, but I need to be spending most of my time on the studies. Law school exams are a PITA.
I'll be able to get back to posting more often and with much more prose after my finals are over I promise!

Question: Do we really want to do two days' actions at once? I'm running into all sorts of problems. Not knowing the results from one day makes it hard to decide on the next day's actions. For example:
Mateo drank the rum. Going back through the Gameplay thread, I see there are potential penalties and bonuses forthcoming. A Cha bonus might help my Diplomacy checks to influence Tilly for my nighttime action. A temporary penalty to his Constitution might result in a penalty to his Day 3 job roll not to become fatigued. If he's fatigued, he'd likely not do a nighttime action.
And not knowing the results of influence checks...how will I know if the crewmate is becoming friendly, helpful, or whatever? If I know Mateo had made Tilly friendly, for example, then he can move on to a different task/person.
Not to mention the possibility for punishment for not doing one's day job well enough...being way low on hp would make me think twice about trying any dangerous sneaking about.
In short, I'm having a tough time deciding on Day Three stuff not knowing the ramifications from what Mateo did on Day Two.
