If no posts are made by the Death Guard or Emperors Children characters by Wed I'm going to be inviting a different player into the game. Please post if you wish to be part of this game.
sorry about the crazy amount of posts this weekend i know not everyone can post that much every day. i'll try to keep it to 1-2 posts a day unless it's individual scenes to not overload anyone or make you feel like your not contributing to the game by not posting fast enough.
I would play probably a Thousand Sons, but you already have a sorcerer, so I might go with a veteran Emperor's Children as they are abundant or a Veteran Sons of Horus.
the player creation rules I think are on first page of this.
Roll 2d10 10 times and drop lowest roll for normal stats
Roll 1d5 for Infamy
Death Guard may be a bit harder to fit in at this time with all that's going on and such but I can probably make it work. They are mostly on their own and no one wants to play with them because of how far they have fall in love with decay. Sorta like the sons of fulgrim and their decadence but at least those guys still play with others while the death guard usually keep to themselves.
I will be an Iron Warrior Chosen so I can be a Iron Havoc (Heavy weapons expert) or Vet+Warpsmith to make a Warsmith to lead warbands which is different to a Warpsmith.
You can put your points wherever you want not in the order you roll them. Just take the 10 numbers and drop the lowest one and order as you like.
Let me know which archetype your going to choose. If you go with a basic one you get exp to spend. Do you own all the books?
Ironwarriors don't have to have mechanicus implants so a chosen would be kinda cool :) I give extra infamy/corruption and +5 to one stat for basic archetypes to offset what the advance ones get.
The main thing you would loose by done a different archetype is the Mechanicus Implants.
Possible Ammo/Reload house rule tossing it around see what you guys think. I hate having to keep track of ammo and I'm sure you do to. What if we make it sorta like Psyker powers where if you roll doubles like 11, 22, 33, etc... your gun goes click and it's time to reload?
So this could symbolize you messed up and forgot to reload after a big battle if you roll a double digit first round or you have bad ammo and it doesn't shoot. It's only 10% chance of having to reload and no need to keep track of how many rounds you got left in your clip.
i put some crafting rules up on the main page. I wanted to try to make simpler in terms of determining if it's successful or not and how long it takes due to complexity. I have final call on what can and can't be crafted/upgraded.
