Is Anset able to use a heal check to provide long term care so people can gain 2 hp in the 8 hours? Hmmm, would that induce fatigue in Anset?
”I will take a portion of the watch detail as well.” The cleric of Ra spreads out bed rolls and attempts to make Amal and Bjoern comfortable.

Long Term Care requires 8 hours and allows you to treat up to 6 people with a DC 15 heal check on each. You can take 10 on the check but not 20 if undisturbed. This requires that you be awake for the 8 hours and would give you the fatigued condition. Also you would need one hour beyond the 8 to prepare your spells for the day. So total time needed would be 9 hours.
Stupid question did anyone cast detect magic?
Nope.... lol

Saedue Menura |

Saedue takes time to get some metal scrapes from the metal snake, taking great care while removing the fangs
I can do some curing extracts, but i'm the only one able to use them, I think.. Maybe I should try on our friends? Of course i'll take my turn to keep watch too.
From the PRD: "When an alchemist mixes an extract, he infuses the chemicals and reagents in the extract with magic siphoned from his own magical aura. An extract immediately becomes inert if it leaves the alchemist's possession, reactivating as soon as it returns to his keeping—an alchemist cannot normally pass out his extracts for allies to use (but see the “infusion” discovery below)"; i'm not sure what it means about CLW extracts: could I use one on our friends, as they are the one drinking the potion but i'm the one holding the vial, and so it technically remains in my possession?

Amal |

It basically works like potions. Just like if you had an extract of Haste, it wouldnt allow you to give the effect to CL/level people, just you as technically, you dont cast spells. HOWEVER as an alchemist all your extracts are Standard actions regardless, so effects like Enlarge person or lesser Restoration would happen immediately. That is how I see Alchemists and how the rule says they are. Basically, if you want someone else to benefit from your extract, you need infusion.

Malik focuses his detection spell around the small chamber. At first Malik acknowledges to the rest of the group that there is definitely magical auras present in the room. As in focuses further he announces that there are three total aura's one from the north chest and two from the south. Trying to focus in more he tries to discern what the auras are. The aura is the north chest is a moderate aura but he can not determine from what school of magic. One of the two auras in the south chest is faint transmutation and the other is conjuration (healing).
Knowledge Arcana Checks To Determine Aura's.
Aura #1: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Aura #2: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Aura #3: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17

Malik Adrazza The Third |

"Uhm... There are magical auras here, I can feel three different ones, in the chests the one north is of moderate power, the other two are faint. But I can distinguish their type, one of them is healing, perhaps we should check it?"
Malik moves closer to the chest with a healing aura.

Anset Ossari II |

”Should we use the healing now? They are stable at the moment. Why not save the magic for an emergency? After our rest I can heal us with Ra’s benediction and generosity.”
Anset spreads out his bedroll and sits on it. ”I’ll take a portion of the watch. Is anyone hungry? I could use a meal.”
Anset will not give long term care for eight hours and incur the fatigue condition.

Saedue Menura |

I have some rations, and I'm willing to share! But just don't expect me to cook ... Even if we don't use the healing now, knowing WHAT kind of healing we have might be useful, no? If we expect a potion to heal wounds and get a wand to cure diseases, that's two useful, but different things.

Anset Ossari II |

”I can cook,” Anset says bringing out the cooking pot from his backpack. He removes some rations and begins making a small fire. ”It won’t be the best you’ve ever had, but a warm meal after a trying day lifts one’s spirits. I have lizard and gazelle jerky. Some dried fruit too. Soup will be ready in about twenty minutes,” he says eyeing the flames licking the pot.

The group decided to checkout the two chest before bedding down for some rest. One of the chests contains Akhentepi’s armor (see below), the magic suit of padded armor he wore in life. The other chest holds a disintegrating cloth sack filled with 500 gp, as well as a small, well-preserved darkwood coffer worth 50 gp. Inside the coffer is a potion of darkvision, a potion of lesser restoration, an ornate lapis and carnelian pendant worth 70 gp, and an assortment of carnelian, lapis lazuli, and turquoise semiprecious stones worth a total of 55 gp.
The group then makes camp and rest, to ensure everyone gets the proper rest the four conscious member of the party set up watches in 3 hour intervals over the next 12 hours so that everyone gets the proper rest and downtime. It was a eerie feeling resting in a chamber with a sarcophogus that has still been unopened. Akin to resting in a cemetary one of the groups members was over heard saying at one point.
Upon completing their rest the group recollected their belongings and needed to attend to the injured as Amal was still unconscious and Bjoern was barely conscious.

Besides its anti-bleeding properties, Akhentepi’s armor grants its wearer a sense of impending danger. Once per day as a free action when the wearer attempts an initiative check, the wearer can add a +3 insight bonus on that initiative check.

Bjoern Ghostbear |

Feeling every stab of the iron snake, checking every wound Bjoern shrugs."At least we found some decent plunder. Me thinks even the coffin could fetch a decent copper. We would have to rig a towing cable... and safeguard it with a few blankets.... But we are at least moderatly succesful."

1st level spells: Magic Weapon, Bless. Domain spell: Shield of Faith.
During his turn at watch his gaze returns repeatedly to the armor and darkwood coffer box. The craftsmanship is superb. He can’t imagine himself in the armor. He’s never worn something as fine as that.
Anset opens his eyes after an hour of prayer and kisses Ra’s holy symbol. He then moves to the center of the group and channels positive energy into their bodies to heal them. He pays particular attention to Amal since he hasn't regained consciousness yet.

Once he finished, he looked at the most seriously injured group members. Still seeing bruises he channeled positive energy once more.

"Feeling better?"

Amal |

Amal's eyes flicker open an strains as if he had not opened them in hours, he rubs his face, still tender. The memories flow back into him when he finds a light. It hurts, badly, " Agh, How long was I out? saw some fire, a then everything went dark.. Oh and a snake bit my face.. that was pleasant. "

Amal |

" Bjoern, I THINK that might be considered disturbing the dead.. We can take things off the coffin but the coffin itself might be much. Either way, I guess we should congratulate ourselves, we found the tomb. There was a little area left that we didn't search though. We know it doesn't lead here but there might be more treasure at least. " Amal state dusting himself off and adjusting his mask.
And maybe ONE LAST Trap... or TWO

After the healing powers of Ra rushed forth from Anset over the party, the group studied the sarcophagus further. None of them had dared to open it as of yet.
The gold leaf decorating the outside of the sarcophagus would be worth a total of 100 gp, if they spent about an hour scraping it off.
I also need to know what is being done with the treasure that was looted from the chest.

Amal will take the potions and point to the armor " That seems like somethin' you'd use Anset.. Did we check the sarcophagus? Might be something in there.. as long as we dont move the body too much. C'mon help me out here. "
Amal seems poised to left enough to get a peak at what might be inside.

Anset Ossari II |

Anset regards the armor once more. ”I think you should have it Amal. You’re more likely to be attacked.” He nods in satisfaction.
”The old dead must remember their oaths. They must be counted and added to the great book,” he says in reply to Saedue, his voice sounding like he’s repeating something he’s said thousands of times in his life. ”Then they will slumber peacefully.” He sighs contentedly. ”Honestly, some of my sect think this can’t happen soon enough. Many of the younger ones think what’s an hour or two more after thousands of years? Of course, we don’t know when death will come so I try not to put off anything that needs to be done. I say we open the sarcophagus now.”

Dumah packs away the 500gp and the darkwood coffer into his pack.
The group gathers close around the sarcophagus and begins to work the lid aside. As it grinds to the side, stone on stone to reveal what is inside.
Inside the sarcophagus, Akhentepi’s mummified corpse wears an exquisitely crafted gold funerary mask.
Dumah immediately speaks up and lets the party know that the mask would be worth about 500 gp.
Saedue also reminds the others about the gold leaf that is on the sarcophagus itself that would be worth 100gp if they would spend an hour getting it off. Also Amal chimes in to remind them of the gold leaf on the busted fake sarcophagus construct in the other chamber that they still needed to get.

Amal |

Amal lifted with all his might and was glad he did. " Seems we found a litle treasure.. he wont be needing the mask, otherwise, nothing seems to be in here, We can take the leafing from both these and get a little more, then explore that other room. " He starts scraping the Gold Leaf as he spoke

Anset Ossari II |

”Scraping the gold leaf could be done during our next rest. We should all take turns so it doesn’t feel too boring,” Anset says. ”Why don’t we investigate that final door?”

Amal |

Amal shrugs " I started doing it because people werent really set on going anywhere anytime soon, so I figured I might as well make the time worth while. If so.. I'm not leading anything.." Looking to Dumah and Bjoern. " I've had enough snake to the face... " he chuckles to himself.

Anset Ossari II |

Anset stands near Bjoern, whispering a prayer to Ra, as Amal checks the final door for traps. Holding his longspear in one hand, he angles it so the tip doesn’t scrape the ceiling.

bwatford |

Our adventure continues...
The group made their way back to the only unexplored door left in the tomb. After Amal gave the all clear everyone got in line and Dumah and Bjoern swung the doors open.
In the center of the chamber sat a large and brightly painted chariot. Beyond the immovable vehicle, a large canvas stretched between two stone columns. The skins of several animals - antelopes, great cats, and crocodiles - now faded and deteriorated with age, were tacked to this canvas by bits of steel pins, the heads showing no signs of rust or wear. A wooden chest, lacquered white and trimmed with gold inlay, sat by itself in the south. At each corner of the room a small stone shield was molded into the masonry, exquisite workmanship making each a lifelike representation of the classical shields used thousands of years prior, lifelike if only for their slightly smaller stature and odd hue.
A hall of sorts continued to the east just out of sight.

“That is beyond my abilities,” Anset replies as he approaches the animal hide display. He keeps his hands behind his back, not wanting to touch anything by mistake. After doing a brief catalog of the animals, he turns his attention to the chariot.
