Kroop awakens and seeing most of the night's meal prepared is very impressed with Suny's work.
"Nice job." He proceeds to begin cooking while taking swigs from his waterskin after refilling it, grimacing as he does.
"I could have sworn that this doesn't taste right....."

Stoma's blast does attact some attention though not approval from the old salty dog.
"Enough of that! No sense in showing off. I'd see if you can be useful else you'll head back to swabbing the decks." he snaps.
Pointing to a map with a compass lying on top of it, placed above a strangely unbalanced stool.
"Look at this and tell me your best guess of our heading."

Drak finds unfortunately the person he has to find is Scourge.....

"BUT! Ye also know that I bin put un'er yer learnin' an' teachin' of yer ways!" She bounces and salutes Kroop smartly with her brightest 'Can do!' smile before pointing back at the meal they're preparing.

"Buuuut.. I can't be helpin' ta' notice..... Ye bin addin' more salt in't mix than last time aaand there be that, y'know," Sunny makes a dropping gesture with her hand, " Lil' bitty extra thingy ye done." She looks at/too Kroop earnestly.

He smiles, exposing a couple of missing teeth before letting loose a bellyful of laughter.
"Stick with me Lassie and you'll learn more. Also go find Grok after Dinner, tell her I got you as my assistant and for her to pass you your key. I also want the usual." he grins.

"I guess that you'll have to show me your skills then. Land and sea wood working is not very difference though you'd have to account for the salt and barnacles."

After a few moments of removing the rotted wood, he quickly carves a sliver into a proper shape, slathers it down with tar and inserts it in the crevice, smoothing away the excess. To his eyes, the patch looks quite good.

Well, that's looking decent. Now to get the Carpenter's opinion.

"Mr. Quarne, I am done with this one, and ready for your inspection." he announces, pointing to the patch. "I imagine that there are plenty more to do today.

"He done asked me ta' come an' bring his 'Usual'." Sunny blinks for a moment, "Oh! An' ta' be askin' fer a key." She frowns, "Ah! Ta' be askin' fer my key." She nods, satisfied that she's relayed everything she needs to tell Mistress Grok.

Wow. He has someone willing to take a weeks worth of a job most people hate and he wants a reason... Drak thinks to himself.

"I want to make a good impression with the other lookouts. And i figure that taking the night shift so they can rest would be a step in the right direction. Plus on a ship, where everyone must rely on others for their very life, being unliked is a quick way to 'accidentally' fall overboard." Drak says.

"You have duty for 2 nights in a row as well as rigging work in between. I do not arrange such but since you insist, it seems you'd have two sleepless night."
With that he dismisses Drak curtly with a wave of his hands., as if shooing him away.
Drak notices that Scourge's bed doesn't seem to be empty.........

No need for anotehr diplomacy check. That one is good enough.

"Your fighting style. I maybe considered the strongest on this ship but Maheem is regarded as the best fighter. He hasn't being defeated in combat ever since he was brought aboard. Also girlie, I have the things you likely need and I'll have your key right here. You scrubs take some time to be directed her it seems." she pauses.
"Where was I? Yes. Our last battle, Maheem singlehandly took down 10 enemies by himself, charging in, offs their captain and second mate while avoiding arrows and blades. Your style.....it seems similar to me as I have seen you both in combat though you're indeed fortunate to get off without a scratch from Crimson."

"Aye Sir!" Redo says with pleasure and relief. "Get a key and get back to you." Redo repeats then dashes off to Grok.

I may not be safe, but at least I have proven my worth enough that I won't be thrown away, he thinks as he goes to find Grok.

Your stuff is with Grok who'll give you a key to unlock your chests, other than that nothing.

A loud roar rings through the air as the creature emerges from the sea, grippping the edges of the railing, he pulls itself over and gains its feet.
Seaweed and seawater hangind off his massive 8ft frame, its claws as long and sharp as daggers. It lurches as its second roar is interrupted by a powerful kick strong enough to shatter a few fangs and turn its head.

Maheem flips over his head upon delivering his first attack and lands lightly balancing on the railings.
"Do what you can to prevent this creature from destroying the ship." He calls out to the nearby crew.
"You! keep the ship steady!" pointly to Redo.

Another soon jumps into the fray, his twin weapons glowing red as Crimson attacks like his namesake, rapier and dagger leading the way in a crimson blur slashing away at the brute and keeping it off balance. It's obvious that the two are more then enough to keep the beast at bay.

Redo finds that he's going to need some help to keep the ship steady as it begins to lean more towards the right.
Make a Strength check in order to hold the wheel steady. Others are assumed to be on deck or nearby. You may of course take your chances with the Sea Troll.

Redo groans as he grabs the wheel and leans into the pull of wind and water.

"Gah! This is heavy. Someone come here and give me a hand!" he shouts at the others.

Redo grabs the wheel and is spun full circle as the wheel banks hard and slams Redo on the ground with its movement.

Stoma tries to assist but to no avail as the wheel refuses to obey. Another two arrives to help hold the wheel steady,Samms Topin and Ratline. Even with their aid, it's pretty obvious that someone with actual meat on their arms should give it a go.

Sawib rushes down to combat as he sees it being engaged by the two of the foremost fighters on this ship. The creature barely glances at Sawib prefering to concentrate on its current foes.

A song bursts out filling the air with a rather raunchy melody about a wrench wrestling with a giant. A fitting tune to this battle as surprisingly Jerieth proceeds to let her voice aid the crew.

Drak realizes that he is unarmed and nobody else seems willing or inclined to point him the way.

Suny is treated to a sight of Maheem dancing between the Beast's blows and Crimson opposite him in a tangent leaving gashes where ever he passes.
Various others are either on their backs, hanging onto ropes or attempting to turn the wheel. The ship is listing quite badly and might just capsize without further warning.

Redo rolls over groaning, and wonders how he got all the way over to the rail. Blinking away stars, he struggles back to his feet, and as he does so, he sees Stoma struggling with the wheel. He dashes over and throws his weight back into the fight.
