GM, how does Force Damage interact with hardness? Or how do you rule it to interact?
I've been searching the forums and CRB but couldn't find an answer.
I ask because we could politely ask the Flower Knight to break it. (Spiritual Weapon)

Was waiting on our more musclebound friends to start hacking away - short of leaving the cave and walking to the top of the mountain Journey-style there's little Pengaal can do to help (fluff wise, I suppose he can always just start doing damage).

I...I think I have an idea. Bear with mw, this may get bad real fast.
I discarded using 'The Flower Knight' to deal Force Damage, but something just popped in my mind.
Pengaal
Sieg or Ludwig - wanna try breaking the chain first? It'll take less time; Ludvig can make a reach weapon so he's not at risk from the flying metal and I think he can give it to Sieg, who can do more damage per hit.

x2.
My poltergeists can't deliver my spells for me, or else I'd have them do it since they are much more expendable.
Only other out is to see if it would be possible to have them "drain health" from the bars, but that, again, is up to the GM.
Since they are mundane and that'd open some seriously game breaking doors, I doubt it'd be a go. lol.

I love the "something popped into my mind" ending up with Sieg going rogue on the door like it's probably only seen once before lol.
Sir Siegward of Catarina would be proud, Librarian Knight.

Just a quick update:
The Kingdom Death Kickstarter just closed at a whopping $12.3 MILLION. It will be the most funded project to ever deliver through Kickstarter!
For those following, Poots was kind enough tk announce the Abyssal Woods expansions which makes our little campaign here a little closer to canon.

Funny enough -or sad, but I prefer to look on the bright side of things- I finally got my credit card and some spare money a couple days ago. And today I was checking kickstarter when I saw it... but I'm dumb and read 7 days left instead of 7 hours.
Anyway, I hope both that you enjoy it when it arrives and that you find inspiration for even more creatures to torture us with.

The Game's Meta or the MetaGame?
I will check your recruitment and glance over the system. Heard good things about Anima, and I had only good experiences trying new systems.
GM JC Spooks
I think the Anima setting is boring and it's far too expansive to introduce new players too. I will be using the Kingdom Death setting.
Here is the handbook I am working on, but keep in mind that at the pace I work on things that it is hard to tell when everything will be ready.

1 person marked this as a favorite.
If only it didn't carry the same old trope about "only one size category larger". Damn you, Paizo and related companies, I want to grapple Cthulhu! CTHULHU I SAID!

If our most magnanimous GM would allow me to do it retroactively, I would very much do it.
I have so many class features that I sometimes forget them. Except maneuvers, how could I forget something so sweet?

Wait... you are right, it's untyped, it stacks. Which means whoever gets doublemarked gets a -8 to hit the rest and -4 to hit us.
Wow. Complrtely agree on 'better do it this round'.
Yuria the Deep Speaker
Yesss, Yuria finally has proper healing in place for a thing like this. Splendid!
I'll post up at some point tonight. In the meantime studying away.....

Sadly,Wait... you are right, it's untyped, it stacks. Which means whoever gets doublemarked gets a -8 to hit the rest and -4 to hit us.
Wow. Complrtely agree on 'better do it this round'.
Multiple armiger's marks overlap (do not stack).
It still means they're at a -4 to hit all of us, rather than being free to beat up you or I.

Oi JC, while we wait I will seek advice with you.
I have enough money as of now to buy either Bloodborne's DLC, DS3's DLC or The Witcher 3.
Given that I will end buying them all, any recommendation on which one to buy first?
Other Party members' output greatly appreciated too ^^
GM JC Spooks
Well, I don't much like the Witcher so keep that in mind. I think objectively, getting a full game will always get you the best bang for your buck.
Old Hunters for Bloodborne is probably the single best DLC Fromsoft has put out for any of their games. It adds so much content - both lore and gameplay - to the game.
DS3's first DLC is mostly multiplayer content so if you're not interested in that it can be disappointing.
Pengaal
I, by contrast, am a massive fan of The Witcher (though I'm from Poland, so I'm a little biased) - while it's a bit more of a traditional fantasy story than Dark Souls (in that it shares inspiration sources with most mainstream fantasy), it's an absolutely massive game with a stunning level of detail and worth every penny.

Siegschwert, are you going to search the Kings Man?
Is this one of those 'Are you sure you want to do that?' questiones?
Don't answer me, I'm searching them anyway.

Monday through to Thursday this coming week I'll be out of state on a vacation / job interview-
Posting will be from the phone, so I apologize if it is severely reduced to just typing rolls without flavor to keep things moving-
I hate posting on the phone :P
