Heroes find a ring of protection, a potion of healing, a scroll of darkness and some gold in the tent, as the detect magic reveals that stuff is magical. this was a quest given to you, someone was digging in the old owl well. You do spot the dig site just beyond the tent.
They also find some notes inside the tent that the wizard was building up his own personal army, he wanted some orcs dead that were terrorizing places, so that he can build his army by turning them undead, and the name of the wizard who built the tower at Old Owl Well.

Yeah, give the ring to Holgar for now. At the end of the chapter, we'll figure out who it goes to for purposes of magic item dispersement for PCs, since Holgar already has one magic item. For the record, I have two.

FYI: the magic item restriction is only for permanent magic items. Consumables are different.

The restriction for permanent Magic Items is that the PC with the fewest gets first pick for the permanent item, then the PC with the second fewest picks next, etc.. if there's a tie, then it's determined randomly.

It is mostly a trail or a path, but if you go off the path it is all open land, so no use drawing the trail. There are a lot more buildings than what I'm showing you, but the area is so big, it would take six 20 by 20 grids.

Shimmer stabs a zombie hard. Heroes don't have to wait for each result, I'll transfer damage and stuff if something dies or let people recon actions.

Move next to Twig Blight so Shimmer can get sneak attack damage, although if she'd rather do something else that's fine
