Lulu seems a bit somber during the first part of the trip. I guess that hat shop is definitely no longer around.
Pix flies around the inside of the wagon checking out anyone inside.

Nex enjoys watching the small creature fly about. Nirvana? I don't know, but I'd imagine it is a long way off since I don't know where it is. Later in the day Nex notices the fire.
Before we approach, I'm going to fly over the campsite and get an idea of what we're getting into. I'll be back soon enough.
Hoping off the wagon Nex unfolds his wings, and climbs into the sky at a 45 degree angle toward the campfire. At about 120ft he stops climbing and approaches the campsite at a different angle than where the cart is. Looking down he sees.....

i dont have any idea. he replies. he stops spin it when the blade is facing torwards him. extending his blade's hilt towards lulu. want to try?

she attempts to give it a twirl like Vincent was doing and promptly drops the blade.

Pix quickly makes a circle around Nex and darts back to the wagon as fast as he can.
Pix starts to fly frantically around Lulu, his little wings making little notes as he flies about her.
after a couple of laps around Lulu he goes and flies around Znierca.

Nex begins to fly in the opposite direction of the wagon. Once the campire is about 400ft away, he draws his sword and begins to land in a defensive posture.
Nex lands with a whoosh. Unfolding his wings to their limit and pointing his sword at the new danger he yells, Friend or foe?!

once you start deceding, the creature does a few gestures, and a blast of magical energy flies up. The other two creatures are up in a flash, as the bolt hits you without fail. Take
1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 damage, fall ten feet. You can decend 60ft as a double move, or all 120 in a desperate run, but if you try that, I'll require a fly check to avoid a faceful of dirt.

Pix is a boy, silly she answers with a giggle. but I don't know, ever since we left the glade I have not been able to talk to Pix anymore.
When Pix flies off to another, Lulu shrugs, I wonder if someone is in trouble? come on lets go see.

During the ride, his armor was donned. He knew sooner or later something like this would happen, and through the time they had been together, Proteus had grown a pavlovic response to scuffles in the desert. When they were over, it was time for food.

the two creatures advance on the first person to arrive- namely, vincent. they cackle and speak in an unknown language, and get on opposite sides of Vincent, strikeout with a spear, holding a shield in one hand. They wear leather armor.

You, and everyone that ran last turn, are within 30 feet of the creatures, and can position yourself so that to flank you, one of them would have to provoke Aoo. Sorry if the lack of a map is confusing. Also, anyone with knowladge (local) can make a check to know about these creatures.

16 Gnolls are nocturnal carnivores, driven by hunger and little else. They dislike giants and most humanoids, but will sometimes make alliances with such creatures so long as it means a plentiful supply of food.
21 Gnolls prefer combat where they can relly on their physical strength and sheer numbers of fellow attackers to overpower those they fight with ease. They have little discipline in a fight, but typically choose clever ambush locations to give them the upper hand in the first few seconds of combat.
