wishlist, hmm:
offensive: a heavy flail with some fun effect would be nice (e.g. with bonded earth or fire elemental - from ECS I think);
something defensive is always nice to have for someone who will be in the front line most of the time
and I always liked the figurines of wondrous power as well

Honestly, I don't recall 3.5 well enough but wasn't there a headband that gave enhancement bonuses to all the ability scores? Or at least some manner of wondrous item that did that?
Beauregard isn't exactly anti-magic item use, but he, for the most part, likes not being dependent on them.
That will likely change with time & 'power-level', but at the moment, he prefers to make use of his wits & planning.

there's the head band of intellect, but it can be tinkered for the purpose a character wants

Otherwise the closest I can think of might be a . Especially once he picks up Investigate. Which will be next level.

yeah, a perm bonus to int would be nice.

Anyone else notice their notifications not refreshing? I am still seeing several 'new' posts in gameplay , even though I just came from there...

yeah its been really screwy, I'd post and it tells me theres a new post , check and it's mine...don't know how many time I was kicked out of my account page last night trying to create a new alias...as a tech guy, its really really frustrating :)
I think they do have maintenence going on...there are changes...it's just not stable, for some reason. Our "titles" are a different color and moved. We have no more faction symbols, etc, or subscriber info on there, either.
I suspect they implemented some update, and something went sideways, because the goblins among the pixies, now.

I just read through a thread discussion about yesterday's site maintenance & it looks like they did a major overhaul/refit & are now having to go through almost everything to make certain it all still clicks. As in, it is going to take a couple days to shake everything out & get things resettled.
Immediately aggravating, but hopefully ultimately worth it...
Agreed. Maintenance and upgrades are a part of our society. I'm not too bothered, just sucks when I realize you all posted three dozen times and I thought you hadn't...lol. And then I realize you haven't, it was posts I already saw.

Wow, I only just received notice that there were posts here...over twelve hours since shadows call for init....and I was refreshing my campaign tab frequently... sheesh
The "new post" feature is indeed still very wonky. I usually look at the total number of posts in the thread when revisiting the thread.
Total number has been the same for a week for me, and never goes away. So I can't tell, in any of my campaigns. Grr.

Looks like the boards are fixed! Spectacular.
After some research, a pair of casting gloves (MIC:84) would be fantastic. Circlet of mages, as well as Circlet of rapid casting are also great, and the Ring of Arcane Might.

Everyone Ok I am having trouble here need some help. #3 may not be with us as the Frankinstorm hits his way. If this happens I will set him back until he can come online. Being a group I want all of us to have a say how and what #3 will be doing until he rejoins us.Please read and reply. heres my suggestion he can help the gnome run his business and help him recover from his injuries. We have quite sufficient magical & martial might. I see no reason not to go with Shadowwalker's idea. It also gives us a fall-back position if that becomes necessary.
Works for me, and storywise, sets up a useful ally.
