Seeing that Cade grabbed a hold of Yuk Yuk, Froog turns his attention towards the spider menacing his allies. He casts a spell calling down the burning light of Lathander on the creature.

Grunting, kriv quickly makes his way up to the closest spider before unleashing a barrage of attacks, trying to keep its attention on him.

Not lighting his torch/mace, Khaz swung it at the spider which Kriv was attacking. Not used to fighting in such an environment, he thought little about defense. Instead, he just swung with the intent to kill, so that defending himself would not be an issue.

Froog's target lifts off the wall momentarily with all 8 legs and pedipalps, as his sacred flame narrowly swings a bad traejctory.
Kriv manages to singlehandedly take down Yellow with 3 strikes worthy of his dragon heritage, nearly breaking the sound barrier with his blur of swings.
Khaz instead turns his attention to Eds target, whose 6th eye has been disabled by the elf's arrow...sec lost my notes that had anchors on it, if anchored Ill make Khaz ranged attack on Red, even if not anchored not sure you have the movement
edit: so yeah, looks like Khaz is anchored. Got something you want to throw?

...but before Khaz can act Vic pierces the spiders digestive cecum, all the way through to its central aorta, bleeding it out quickly. A waterfall of blackest blood runs down the webby cliffside.
Scratch that Khaz, now you gotta throw all the way down to cyan. Still pretty much a guaranteed hit

Round 3
Cade sees the spider close on his position and realizes he is not going to be able to move much while holding Yak Yak. He breathes a sigh of relief when the spider drops.
He uses a bit of rope and bits from his climbing kit to secure Yak Yak to the web.

Gael once more urged his companions on as he unleashed another dark bolt at the most wounded spider.

The stories typically take the form of fables, involving long discourse with the creatures, who believe they are superior in every way to other creatures and other beholders...and how clever talkers can trick them into folly. Vic has to twist in place to avoid the decaying shaft of darklight hitting his shoulder, causing his shot to go far off. Kriv delays and gets ready for the approaching threat, just as Khaz snaps out of it.
Froog seals Yuks wounds and the little goblin fun-lover perks back up, struggling in the restraints Cade assembled earlier. "*pant pant pant* Oh s&%$, its Jenkins McSquinty, that old eye tyrant again?!"
Edlethron ignores everything to concentrate on his shot, and hits a bullseye from 60 ft. The beholder screams in fury and you all hear it enter your mind ::"Demons! I will cleanse you from my lair..."::

Gaels powerwell-spring had suffocated him so long that it was effortless now to summon forth the darkness between the stars. The surge exploded out of his wrists and hands and did exactly what he wanted, briefly there flashed the image of 2 merging galaxies in his minds eye as the energy tore through the Beholder.
"You don't have to tell me twice, half-luck!" Yuk shouted scrambling up the webs...

The beholder floated with aggressive intent towards the sitting duck party... ::"Trash in the halls, trash on the walls...demons on strings, you'll wish you had wings...":: its eyestalks again fire bright purple lasers...this time at Vic and Edlethron.
