The Dragon's Demand - Monastery (spoilers)

Hi,
Players know about the Monastery and are keen to visit BEFORE the auction of Hunclay's Manor. Any suggestion on how the occupants of the Monastery should re-act if they do appear un-annouced, ie not to drop of the money that Aeteperax has requested.

They'll probably be a bit low level? I'd expect they'd end up having to flee if enough of the occupants attack them.
