Silver Crusade 5/5

Hi I will be in the DC area, near friendship heights from December 26 to the 31. I"m looking for a PFS game in a game store. I know its over the holidays.
Any suggestions? Warhorns sites? Game stores in the area?

Thanks

Check out the Baltimore Meetup and DC Meetup. I don't think there's much really going on in the northern DC suburbs right now. I'm hoping to add some gaming there after I move to the area in January.

Unfortunately, there's not a lot of demand in our area (Bethesda/Rockville/Silver Spring). I've run public events in the past in Rockville, and got very little in the way of response.

That being said, if you'd like to put something together during that time, I'd be happy to help.

Hi, I'm the VC in DC.

There is not much up in the Friendship Heights area at all. We have tried to start up near that area, but it's not been terribly successful just yet. I will be running a game on the 31st. There may be a game on the 27th in Fairfax, VA, as we usually have Tuesday night games there at Comics and Gaming in Fairfax. Someone kindly put a link to our Meetup site already, which will have a listing for all our games. If you have questions, feel free to contact me.

Thank you Drparty 06, CartmenBek and Trevor.

I will be visiting with family, and my availability to game will depend on when I can visit with family.

I will take a look at your meetup sites.

Back in 2010 in September I had the pleasure of playing PFS with a group that met at, now was it George Mason University?, yes I think that was the place. It was a monthly game day. I remember playing Among the dead....or was it Among the Living....I can never remember which title goes to which scenario. It was the one that is the sequel and you are

hunting down the cult of zyphus

Next to me was a player with a very amusing character concept. He had a summoner called "Master and Servant" I think.

:
The Eidolon was a "summoned devil" and the summoner was his lackwit servant. My character was a cleric of asmodeus and a barrister. While negotiating with our contact, my character started pointing out that in order for a contract to be valid both sides must receive consideration..... One of the players asked me what kind of law I practiced. I replied that no I didn't....and it appears I was the only non lawyer at the table. We had fun.

I will check out the meetup sights Thank you for the suggestion about the 27. thank you for letting me know about the game on the 31, unfortunately I will be driving home down to Raleigh NC on that day.

We did used to play at George Mason. I think that might even somewhat predate my involvement locally, but even after I joined, we played there some. Unfortunately, we don't have members who are students (that I'm aware of) and we are unable to reserve rooms. We kept having problems of showing up on campus and either not finding an open room or going to one that was legitimately reserved and having to leave it. Not ideal, but it happens.

Comics and Gaming and Sherwood Regional Library are now our main weekend game places. Working on more locations slowly. If you have questions, feel free to contact me.

Master and Servant was Erich!

I'm running something on the 26th.

Slightly off topic, but has either group looked into running at Family Game Store in Savage, MD? It's selfish, since that would be way closer for me than others, but it does look like they already have DDAL and advertise Pathfinder books on their webpage.

We used to have games there but one of the VLS went to talk to the store owner and he said there wasn't much interest. What day would work for you we used to gave games on Tuesdays.

I haven't moved yet, so I'm not entirely sure what days will be good. I'd be happy to at least try running a few things there to see if there's interest. If not, I'll probably make the occasional trip up to Glen Burnie.
