Possible predictions/wishful thinking:
1) Abrogail is listed in the Inner Sea World Guide and Inner Sea Magic as as an aristocrat 2/sorcerer 16. If she's intended as the "real final boss" of the AP, she'll be upgraded to a L20 sorcerer with PC gear and a couple artifacts, putting her on par with Elvanna and Karzoug at CR 20. Bloodline is up for grabs, since Infernal is the obvious choice (and perfectly useful), but something like Destined (which is very defense focused) would be interesting.
2) If Abrogail's left as an aristocrat 2/sorcerer 16, then that shifts "real final boss" status to her CR 20 Pit Fiend "adviser," Gorthoklek.
3) It'd be interesting if it was possible to have a diplomatic victory against Abrogail, getting her to yield the throne and step aside. Though getting rid of that pit fiend might be a pre-req!
4) Dark horse "real final boss" candidate - Alichino the Jester Prince, Golarion's malebranche, might actually be pretty cross if Hell's biggest foothold on Golarion changes allegiance. He might be saved for the "Continuing the Campaign" section.
5) Mr. Jacobs and Mr. Schnieder may be co-developing this AP. I'd certainly expect Mr. Schnieder to have an active presence in the AP.
6) Even though this AP wouldn't go mythic, getting archduke write-ups and statblocks (particularly for Dispater, Belial, and Mephistopheles, though Dispater's "god" article already happened in Kobold) would be fantastic.
Answers and hints for the curious...
1) Nope. She doesn't have a direct role in this AP.
2) Unlikely. He doesn't have a direct role in this AP either.
3) It would indeed be interesting, woudn't it?
4) I'm relatively certain no one will guess who the "boss" of this AP is...
5) Nope. I'm the only one developing it. Wes will HOPEFULLY be writing a few of the support articles, and I'll certainly be pestering him with questions a lot.
6) No archduke writeups, sorry. Unless there's an uprising in demand!

Unlikely. Kintargo is far away from Andoran. There'll be a little Varisia and a little Nidal in it though, as far as influences from other nations go.
Andoran is just too far away... although who knows? A PC who's an agent from Andoran who comes to Kintargo to help look into some stuff there might be cool...
Nidal yes please.
Thumbs up all the way on this AP. Love the different stuff like Iron Gods, Skulls & Shackles, Jade Regent. However, nice to go back to a more standard type of AP with I hope loaded with power plays, sinister plots and political intrigue....oh and terribly hard decisions.

i for one think it sounds outstanding!
especially if Wes Schneider is heavily involved, that dude can f#$%ing write!
also is Wes doing an adventure for this, considering how well 7 days to the grave is received and how awesome his book of the damned entry is, it would be a damn shame if he didn't crank out a chapter:)
Wes isn't doing one of the adventures, alas... he's a busy guy!

Things I would really like to know: who's writing the individual adventures, what will be the non-urban parts of the story, what kind of impact would the story have on the setting (end with overthrowing house thrune?) . Also, how mnay Hellknights will we get?
I'm still going through the thread, and haven't seen if someone posted this yet... but if not...
#97: In Hell's Bright Shadow, by Crystal Frasier
#98: Turn of the Torrent, by Mike Shel
#99: Dance of the Damned, by Richard Pett
#100: A Song of Silver, by James Jacobs
#101: The Kintargo Contract, by Jim Groves
#102: Breaking the Bones of Hell, by Amber Scott
We haven't released much more info about the plot of the AP yet...
The AP will have about the more impact on the setting than Kingmaker or Crimson Throne, but less than Jade Regent.
There will be plenty of Hellknights. Both as allies and enemies.

I read somewhere that AP 100 will be double-sized. Does that mean double the support articles/bestiary, or up to a double-sized adventure path instalment?
If it's the latter, I sincerely hope that JJ doesn't burn out over the extra work. I get the feeling that he works very hard as it is ...
#100 will be 128 pages long... NOT double sized. There's several things we're working on putting in there though, including...
1) A bit longer-than-normal adventure (by me)
2) An article about Aroden by Erik Mona
3) A 32 page "retrospective" article that presents a bonus NPC for each of the previous 16 Adventure Paths in a way that lets you use them as allies or enemies.
4) A poster map (hopefully!)
5) A shiny cover (hopefully!)
And maybe more. We shall see!

Well, this sounds interesting!
The AP is set (or at least starts) in the city of Kintargo, right? Which is right across the border from Nidal, right?...
Does anyone think that the possibility of a support article on Kytons would be pretty sweet? (Nidal is apparently looking for a way to topple the devil-led regime of Cheliax, so it'd be on-theme as behind-the-scenes support for a rebellion against Hell... >.>)
A Campaign Setting book - like another Book of the Damned - would be awesome! But the tie-in CS book is more likely to be something like "Devils Revisited", which is great, too.To date, we have support articles for:
- Demodand (Wrath of the Righteous);
- Oni (Jade Regent); and
- Qlippoth (Shattered Star).
(Could be missing another one...I don't think Divs have had an article: Legacy of Fire had one on genies, but not divs... As well as one on the Maelstrom &, thus, proteans - kinda. :p)
So an article on Kytons is perhaps possible...?
It's just a wishlist sorta thing. ^^
Carry on!
--C.
From the Dept. of Expectation Management... not a lot of Nidal or Kytons in this adventure path.

Will this AP assume that WotR was successful or at least include the possibility of crusade veterans returning home as a source of rebels?
It makes no assumptions at all about Wrath of the Righteous (or any other AP we've yet published). It's operating under the normal "It can take place at any time" as compared to the others.

Trust me... it wasn't the new line system at all that made the booth crazy busy. In fact, had the new (Gen-Con mandated, btw) line system NOT been in place... I suspect things would have crashed HARD.

Anything that adds to existing APs is solid gold to me. I don't like the "fire and forget" method. I like to see existing APs be buffed and groomed. This is awesome.

I was worried we're going to get some ultra-conservative AP to offset the inevitable Distant Worlds AP coming in Feb 2016, but if this thing is conservative traditionalist fantasy, I don't want to be a progressive liberal. Now I need to gain 100kg and wear a fanny pack over an utilikilt...

I have to say, the adventure names are so awesome that they got my excitment level up from "hmm, Cheliax? OK, that could work" to "I REALLY want to know more about this AP!". Haven't seen names so cool since Reign of Winter.
Question: so there will be parts of the AP outside of the city. Are we talking sections of adventures, or an entire adventure happening outside the city?

OOOhhh.... this sounds *really* cool. Will these be never seen before NPCs, or extended writeups of ones that already had a part in previous APs?
EDIT: just noticed part #4 is written by James Jacobs... I think this is the first adventure written solo by him that is not a first adventure in an AP, I think, right?

"Kintargo" (to the tune of "Kokomo" by the Beach Boys)
Egorian, Sargava, ooh I wanna take ya
To Varisia, Nidal, come and see it all
Cheliax, Andoran,
JJ is the man,
Egorian
Off of Nisroch Bay
There's a place called Kintargo
That's where you wanna go
To get away from House Thrune
Bodies in the streets,
Devilish skulls melting in your hand
We'll be freeing the slaves
To the rhythm of a Chelish band
Down in Kintargo
Amber Scott, Richard Pett, ooh this AP's set
Crystal Frasier, Mike Shel, some rebels of hell
James Jacobs, Jim Groves,
You'll buy these books in droves
Ooh I wanna read more about Kintargo,
We'll get to book one fast
And then take it slow.
That's where we wanna go,
Way down in Kintargo.
Who will it be? The villain's a mystery...
We'll roll out our stats
Or we'll perfect our point buy,
Everyone's going to be
Inquisitors of Milani
This AP delights,
Freed strix and dead hellknights.
The slaves' haunting refrains,
Say it's time to break some chains.
Way down in Kintargo
Article on Aroden? Where it all began...
Everybody knows a little place like Kintargo
Now if you wanna go to get away from House Thrune
Go down to Kintargo

Speaking of the campaign sourcebook line, while more volumes of the Book of the Damned and Chronicles of the Righteous could be neat, I was also a fan of the Lady Kaltessa Iyis, and think it could be nice to have a book like Dragons Unleashed, with one minion per archdevil. Ideally, each archdevil's best minion, and notes on what he/she/it is up to on Golarion.
