Reguarding the Loot at the End of 4-18 Veteran's Vault

I am still a little new to running for Societies so if this is obvious I apologize, but I am running Veteran's Vault tomorrow (mostly to be easy on myself this week) and I noticed that none of the loot found at the end of the adventure is on the chronicle sheet. Am I missing something or is all that loot just flavor and not really any use to the PCs? Thanks in advance.

Masterwork items, +1 weapons/armor and first level scrolls are always available and will never show up on a chronicle. So besides those and the art items, everything else is on the chronicle sheet. High tier has the ring of sustenance and handy haversack, while the low tier has the ring of protection.

Ah alright, that makes sense. Most of my players are fairly new themselves, and I can kind of see finding the loot at the end, then not getting it and instead having to buy it can kind of be a little dissatisfying. I know that's what the gold is there for, but it's just a quirk of the system I suppose. Thanks!

Just explain to them than the money they get at the end is their share of the loot the party sold off. If they want to keep anything they found, they can, but their share of the loot is reduced by the full value of the item.

I haven't sat down with it, but is there a near one-to-one transfer between items and the gold? And that's generally how I planned on putting it.

It is close-ish you wind up dealing with the fact that the loot is divided by four, but you may have a party of six or vice versa, but it comes close enough for hand waving. Really it is a semi abstract wealth system :)
