Do you consider R2D2 to be Artificial Intelligence? (and C3PO)
What configuration do you think his OS assumes; or does he even have an OS?

C3P0 is a Mac. Its bright, shiny metal, easy to understand and designed for working with people.
R2 is a PC. is short, squat, clunky, hard to understand and exists just to get stuff done.

What about Jawas? Didn't they make/find/repair R2D2?
(Jawas would be awesome help in a Shadowrun game.)

C3PO: also snooty, mostly useless, and mistakenly revered like a deity.
Rather obvious. Each droid has a personality. The os is random tree, the ai's that function and prove stable are released, the ones that dont are scrubbed for a try again. Eventually you get a code combination that functions.
