Battle-Mind

- Throws off huge amount of electrical energy from his nervous system as a result of being synchronized with the Earth's ionosphere. (Hey, you need to get power from somewhere...), Enhanced Strength, Enhanced physical Stamina, Flight, violent Telepathic Defenses, and some low-level telekinetic skills

- Uses his powers to rob banks and other economic targets to finance his love for inventions. He builds psionic based devices to regulate the power surges he experiences on a regular basis. Battle-MInd first manifested his powers when he was 16. Thus he's a mutant.

- Publicly, he's a recluse and tries to blend in with normal society. Takes great pains to keep his identity secret. Will team-up with other super-villains but doesn't like funkies or side-kicks. Despises mutant alliances and political threads....

- Clashed with various Green Lanterns, Firestorm, Wonder Woman, served and survived the Suicide Squad and the Secret Society of Super-Villains, Thor, Iron Man, Ms. Marvel, The Avengers, and The X-Men (Again if you're on Earth 616) Served in various incarnations with the Lethal Legion and the Masters of Evil. Worked for A.I.M. when the circumstances warranted it.

- If he had a weakness, he would tell you.

- Don't know much about actors and acting.

Just not too bright but has a good sense of humor.

His motivation is entertainment.

Weaknesses: anal fistula, chronic diarrhea, Tourette's Syndrome.

oh.
and my son says he has a fire sword (no, not a katana) and he can jump very high.

His arch enema is Uncle Marvel. If you haven't heard of Uncle Marvel, then I can't do anything for you.

My son says Skunk Ape shoulda fought Superman, Batman, and Herobrine.
But, Herobrine's pretty much invincible.

So Skunk Ape got him a DIAMOND flame sword (I guess he Minecraft crafted it) to finally put the whack on Herobrine.

But he says I can't "Minecraft craft" damn, I'm stupid.

Who would you be, what is your villain's name?

Garth Arnold, AKA Polyhedron

What are your super powers?

Doesn't have powers, just dice themed weapons/gadgets. He's the geeky anti-Batman.

What are your motivations and backstory?

His goal is to own a single copy of every roleplaying game book/supplement/magazine/etc. ever produced. So he steals them. He was your average RPG hobbyist until he won the lottery. Spent loads of money coming up with his Polyhedron costume and gear, planning to wear the costume at conventions. Blew the rest of his money on buying a private island where his Dice Tower is located. Realized he was now broke, and decided to repurpose his costume and gear to become a supervillain.

What is your secret hidden base? Do you have minions?

The Dice Tower, located on a private island off the coast of California. Think of anything and everything you ever wanted to have in a gameroom, and chances are it is here, in one of his seven themed gamerooms (fantasy, modern, sci-fi, post-apocalyptic, wild west, steampunk, and horror). He has a roomba he has attempted to reconfigure to be a minion, but it just bumps into walls.

Who is your (good guy) arch enemy ?

He's had run-ins with both Green Lantern and Green Arrow, but is kind-of a joke. He totally geeks out when confronted by any superhero, and doesn't put up much of a fight.

What if any are your weaknesses?

As much as any man, and he's out of shape to boot.

And, who plays your villain in the movie?

Jim Parsons

Shoulders of giants, Cal, shoulders of giants, though I want to know what exactly made you think you stole it.

And everything is allowed. It's not limited to DC. Legion fo Doom is, I'm fairly certain, simply a moniker.

Villain Name: Blackmantle

Superpowers: Powerful psion, capable of altering people's perceptions, which enables him to commit his crimes as well as force bystanders to become his goons. Trained firearm specialist and has amassed a huge amount of wealth.

Motivations and Backstory: Blackmantle (Real name unknown) discovered his powers at a young age, and as he gradually realized this, his uses of the power matured, from having the last cookie in the cookie jar, to getting better grades on his test than he deserved, to making the cheerleaders wake at the knees, to robbery and drug dealing. On his 25th birthday, he moved to Gotham and set up shop, using innocents to deal his dirty work. When the Bat finally caught up to him, he finally had to use his power for combat, veiling himself from him.

He eventually moved to South America and got himself a nation with which to fund his international operations for when he needs to get out of the country, he himself remains in Gotham out of sheer stubbornness, proving that he can beat the Batman.

Of course, this is taken from his legitimately published memoir, so it's all in doubt except for the publicly known.

Secret Hidden Base: The country of Vance, named after Jack himself, which is where he gets his main funds to his war for Gotham.

Minions: Aside from Vance, he is capable of turning the local populace of anywhere on his side.

Arch Enemy: Batman

Villain Name:Master of Blades

Superpowers:Master swordsman, near superhuman reflexes, can put himself in a trance to speed up his bodily functions, essentially slowing down time.

Motivations and Backstory: Jacob Vancetti was an assassin for the Chicago mafia, taking any kind of job unscrupulously. They hired him out to Blackmantle (See above) who wanted him to take on the batman. During the battle, Tommy used his trance ability so many times he ended up paralyzing himself. Not wanting to lose on an investment, Blackmantle sent him to Vance, where he was re-engineered with robotic pats his body could control. Despite this new power, Blackmantle had a self destruct sequence which would in essence stop his heart, one of his lungs, and force his limbs and one eye to shut down. Upon realization of this, he broke out, and joined the legion as an assassin in order to gain protection from Blackmantle.

Secret Hidden Base: He motorcycles around the country as a "Mysterious Stranger" type figure.

Minions: None

Arch Enemy: Batman, for revenge purposes, Blackmantle, whom he lives in fear of. Aside from this,in his free time he hunts down and kills all superhumans in a quest to be the very best (the best that ever was!)

Villain Name: Drake

Superpowers: Immortality, has a pair of magic handguns which he never needs to reload, superhuman agility and endurance.

Motivations and Backstory: Drake is the last of a race known as the Samsarans, a theoretical civilization that, if true, could explain the rise of man from hunter/gatherers to the dominant species we are today.

What they do not know is that Drake is the last, having abandoned his entire people (including his family) in a single great act of cowardice, leaving the immortals to suffer a worse fate than death. He survived throughout history, serving as advisors, generals, soldiers, before ultimately learning through the very demons he fled that he could bring his people over, in exchange for (What the item is here is not entirely known), causing him to turn to super villainy to gain it. Whatever it is, he wants it bad, despite the almost random nature of his crimes, from a massacre one day to a high level feat of corporate piracy the next.

Secret Hidden Base: Not secret and hidden. The base of the 99 Dragons in Manhattan, chosen from the greatest fighters on the planet to be his own private army. Most of them have their own goons and so o and so forth, essentially allowing him to dominate New York's underworld.

Minions: Same as above.

Arch Enemy: Whoever happens to be standing in his way at the moment. However, he recognizes what his foes are trying to do, and as such tries to give them great respect when they fight.

Weaknesses: None.

Minions:more like groupies. a bowling team, if you will.
Arch Enemy:Anyone who wants to take life a little too seriously. Anyone that gets Walter riled up enough to make him annoying and high strung.

Supervillain name: The Dark Empress, Empress Sissyl of Earth, Her Exalted Majesty
Superpowers: The consummate dominator, she has all sorts of mind control and telepathy powers, giving her effective inroads in every political system there is.
Motivations and Backstory: One day, she decided to conquer the world. There was a lot she felt she could change for the better. She set a date for it, but then didn't think more about it for a while. Then one day, she discovered she had powers to force her will on people. It started with a few accidental people, continued with administrators of various stripes... then she went big.
Secret Hidden Base: A hidden island in the midst of the Atlantic. It turns out that mountaintop strongholds are a b~&@~ to heat, and volcano bases have far more than their fair share of problems. She doesn't expound on this.
Minions: Yes. Definitely. She is well aware that she is weak in person, and has both skilled soldiers and specialists for dealing with robots.
Arch Enemy: She has been pretty effective at keeping out of the spotlight. The one closest to figuring out her role is Professor X, but Magneto has had a number of run-ins with her agents.
Weaknesses: While she has no real weaknesses per se, beyond her normal human strength, she is finding one part of being a supervillain difficult. She is not actually an evil person, her powers were something she never chose. Her conscience burns her, even so.

We Are The Legion of Doom!

Villain's Name: "The Forgotten Whisper" (though most people would refer to me as, "Wait, what were we just talking about?")

Super powers: There are two primary ones, and a secondary one - a combined aura of anonymity (which can be focused to specific results), and an uncanny likeability and a contagious persuasiveness (which can also be focused, in conjunction with the other powers); those two primary ones are compounded by a genuine desire for peace and the good of all (Coupled with, of course, a mastery of the "We are not so different, you and I..." speech - he loves that one, because it's so tropey, but so true!).
Effective game-rules inspiration (because I'm a nerd, it's fun, and it makes it easier to explain): aura of the unremarkable spell, no one of consequence mythic power, divine countenance mythic power, persuasive countenance mythic power, contagious whisper nogitsune ability-cum-(mass) suggestion/glibness/euphoric tranquility/(mass) charm monster spells. These can be "focused" into the modify memory, triggered suggestion, and unconscious agenda effects. Finally, the serenity spell and beyond morality mythic abilities would be nice, but could be overreaching.

Motivations and Backstory: The Forgotten Whisper's ultimate goal is to see humanity reach its ultimate potential in a peaceful post-violence grand society for the purpose of individual and collective betterment and aid; he believes that, in order to best achieve this aim, it is imperative that communication, discourse, and non-violent rhetoric must be continually reinforced and elevated within the public eye. Unfortunately this doesn't pay well; combined with the fact that literally no one can ever remember they've ever hired him, means that he can't actually hold down a steady job... or even have a job, in general. Added to that, his natural tendencies make it difficult to save what little money he can legitimately earn. Instead, he has taken to talking people out of their bank account information (as he can't open one of his own without it being seized as an apparent attempt by someone to create an illegal account under a false identity) so he can purchase the things he needs. His preferred "prey" are those who can most afford it, criminals, and politicians.

He tries to use his powers to steer politics, elections, and discourse toward non-violent and cooperative ends, as much as possible, often infiltrating criminal or political organizations to whisper suggestions, and then stirring the local underground scene or political rallies or a local populous to help reinforce such suggestions among the people. He does this across the globe, as much as possible. Unfortunately, his powers of persuasion are impermanent, and thus he must work to create a self-reinforcing culture toward his ultimate goal.

His powers first manifested in college. On his home from registering to run for mayor, he ran into trouble with some local criminals who were hassling an elderly woman in her shop. Though he was able to prevent her from being injured, his arm was broken, and he was given a black eye and numerous bruises and abrasions for his troubles, and a death-threat should they ever see him again. That night, after being turned out of the hospital (as he lacked the money to stay), he saw a shooting star. He found it, but it turned out to be no meteor, but a fragment of an actual star - a dying proton star with a mind and telepathic ability. He sought to help it, and the star piece revealed that a type of weird magic had interacted with it to give it brief sentience and power, which, due to his empathy at its plight, it bequeathed some of to Forgotten Whisper before turning into a singularity and burning itself out of existence. The next day he found to his delight that the criminals had entirely forgotten about him... and this time he was able to talk them into walking away, even rethinking their life of crime (though only to an extent). To his everlasting disappointment, however, he was impossible to elect - no one remembered his registration, and, though they were quite helpful, and he could really incite a crowd at a rally, everyone would immediately leave and forget about him. Thus, he turned to the only thing he could - changing peoples' minds from the shadows.

Secret Hidden Base: There are eight: one island in the Caribbean, another off the coast of Japan, a castle in eastern-central Europe, a hidden bunker in the Middle East (currently unavailable due to, ironically, political and legal surveillance of the area), an underground base in central Africa (currently sealed by some sort of reality-warping calamity, along with the rest of the region), a modest mansion near Oregon, a jungle fortress in Brazil, and a small ordinary house in southeastern U.S. These are each overseen and staffed by trusted servants who look after his interests (knowingly or not). He hopes to expand to more operations, eventually, but that is the limit of his influence and ability at present. Also, anywhere he happens to sleep is relatively "hidden" due to his natural abilities.

Minions: Most anyone, but yes there are quite a number of devoted followers, a few of which actually remember who the Forgotten Whisper from day to day.

Archenemy: Unfortunately, he has repeatedly run into several heroes who staunchly oppose manipulation, coercion, and excessive illicit influence. The four main opponents are Superman (who, fortunately, is subject to the Forgotten Whisperer, but too powerful to mess with too much, causing the FR to just leave), the Green Arrow (who always succumbs to FR, usually wandering off with no idea what happened), the Batman (who is a pain in the neck, though who occasionally forgets about him), and various Green Lanterns (who vary in their response to him, though Hal Jordan was a specially-problematic foe; they, rare among the world, recall who he is).

Though he doesn't seek to battle these heroes, he often has little choice as his inherently-illegal abilities cause issues wherever he goes. As a result, he has sort-of joined the Legion of Doom (though none of them ever remembers this) and works to subtly turn their meetings toward self-defeating ends while simultaneously encouraging them that it is necessary for them and siphon off their money to manipulate various criminal doings.

Weaknesses: He's basically just a guy with a powerful mental and emotional influence on others. His arm has a lingering tenderness where it was broken and improperly set years ago (and made worse by his attempts to physically move the proton star fragment shortly thereafter), but otherwise he's in average all-around shape for a normal human being.

Actor: Sean Bean. Or Matthew Patrick. Or John Boyegga. Or Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Or Ken Jeong. Depending entirely on the style of film, and how you plan on putting him in it.

Victory is Ours! But in a kind, nonviolent sort of way!

NAMES: Chaos; The Frozen Flame; Winter Flying Pyramid; Hello Dali; Emperor Norton II; Prince-Captain Blacksalt Whitepepper; Mr. Purple Christmas; Mr. In-Between (as in "don't mess with..."); The Chess Knave; Loki Trismegistus; The Silver Sun; etc

Powers: constantly emanates a reality-warping field that fluctuates in size from 3 meters to up to 10 kilometers in radius; can manipulate this field to achieve specific results, but chooses not to (at least not knowingly?) most of the time, delighting in the random results (office buildings sprouting giant feet and walking around, public water fountains dispensing hummingbirds instead of water, people suddenly speaking languages they never knew with native-level facility and forgetting their old ones, plastic turning to gold, dramatic localized weather shifts, books turning into completely different books, clothes teleporting 2 feet to the wearer's left, dogs changing breeds, humans changing physical ethnicity or sex, eyeballs sprouting out of the ground like dandelions and shooting beams at people, etc); the exact extent of his abilities are unknown

Motivations: Leave things differently than how he found them; keep other people alert; Chaos is an eternal kid in an infinite playground

Backstory: Unknown, but based on piecing together various cryptic and disturbing statements of his, as well as the circumstances, environments, and personages under/in/against which his behavior has been seen to take on an atypically aggressive and even cruel edge, it seems he is extremely sophisticated and learned in matters of history, sociology, philosophy, and - of all things - law, and may have suffered some sort of nervous breakdown or ontological crisis, only to eventually experience some sort of "epiphany" that transformed him into a living breach in the fabric of reality.

Hidden Base: has established permanent hideaways of varying sizes in Venice, New Orleans, San Francisco, Toronto, Moscow, Tokyo, Rio de Janeiro, Bombay, Casablanca, Paris, and Bangkok

Minions: 1 Confirmed: Mona Lisa - yes, THE Mona Lisa, which he has apparently managed to grant life, (a very high degree of) intelligence, and free mobility across 2-dimensional space; for this she displays loyalty to him, and has been known to intermittently spy on his enemies, warn him of trouble, and fight for him with extraordinary weaponry, apparently-self designed.

Enemies: Numerous military and intelligence agencies, Green Lantern, Iron Man, Superman, The Fantastic 4, The Comedian, Apocalypse, and even the Joker have all had occasion to tangle with Chaos.

Weaknesses: reality-warping field makes his presence relatively easy to detect and track; has a sincere love of cats, and will go to great lengths to protect them from harm

Played By: Brent Spiner OR Stephen Colbert OR Me - I can act!

So your hidden base would be called the Death System?

I dig it.

I once made an argument to that to devastate the whole planet Earth you would need only two Imperial Star Destroyers.

To conquer, subjugate and hold the planet, keeping the local populace in check, at least sixteen Star Destroyers in orbit and several planetary garrisons, at least 56 at a bare minimum.

Had all the math worked out.

How have I never noticed this thread before?

Anywho, random villain;

Villain Name: Haakon Half-Dead

Supervillain name: same

Appearance: Haakon appears as a lean man in Viking-era rusted chain shirt and decaying leather, carrying a rusted blood-encrusted hand axe in his right hand and a ram's horn in his left. His right side appears alive, if gaunt and pale, with straggly hair and a wild eye. His left side is dead, with withered limbs, grey leathery skin, a gaping eye-socket that contains only a sickly green fire, and lips peeling away from a toothy rictus.

Backstory: Haakon died 1200 years ago waiting for his father to come back from a Viking raid (his father died on that raid and was chosen for his valor in his final moments to ascend to Valhalla). With no father, when his mother fell ill he was left without a family and devolved into treacherous acts to survive and escape thralldom. He died in dishonor, executed after slitting a man's throat to steal his coin, and ended up in Nifleheim, serving Hel, the goddess of the underworld, eventually mastering forbidden sorceries and serving as her thrall on Midgard.

Superpowers: Haakon is 'half-dead,' allowed by Hela to have the hungers (but not pleasures) of a living man, despite being 1200 years dead. He is tough and resistant to many forces and conditions that would harm a living man, and stronger than he looks. Using sorcery and his horn, he can call up shades of the dishonored dead to serve him, or animate corpses or skeletons. If 'killed,' he awakens later, if his body is not completely destroyed, although the timing of this 'resurrection' is up to Hela's whims...

Motivations: Hela has given him a list of specific people who must die, generally drug-addicts or PTSD-suffering survivors, who might someday rise above their current state and regain their courage. She wants them to die before this happens, to ensure that they descend to the afterworld she commands, and not some better place. He also seeks revenge on his 'free time' on anyone descended from his family, or to ruin any happy families he sees, having been robbed of such in his own life. Fathers and sons, in particular, incite a homicidal rage in him, although he's more likely to kidnap or cripple one of them, rather than go for an immediate kill, as his hate prompts him to hurt them, instead of swiftly killing them.

Secret Hidden Base: He prefers abandoned morgues, if he can find them, or little-visited crypts to long-dead families, where he and his undead retinue can lie undisturbed.

Minions: Shambling zombies and clattering skeletons, as well as temporarily summoned shades of those who died cowardly or dishonorable deaths. (Certainly not the best warriors or most reliable sorts, but the nature of his summoning deceives them into thinking that if they serve him bravely and well, they may finally earn respite from Hel and a second chance at Valhalla, which is, naturally, a lie...) He also has a few scuzzy failed 'Asatru' who see him as a means to power, mostly expelled from any serious gathering tied to the worship of the Norse Aesir.

Arch Enemy: His father, now an Einherjar, who manifests to save any child of his mortal bloodline that Haakon seeks to kill. The Valkyror. Various other heroes depending on whichever world he's in.

Weaknesses: Spontaneous manifestations from his Einherjar father appearing to stop him. Weapons bearing Nordic runes, which burn his flesh as crucifixes burn a vampire.

Played in the Movie By: Viggo Mortenson.
