Children at Con

PaizoCon General Discussion

If we bring a family to PaizoCon, will we need full passes for small children if they are only going to game in certain child-friendly (and informal) games? They will not take part in any official events, unless there is an official event that is geared toward youngsters.

Thanks.

And, I might add, I would love to see some official events that are geared specifically toward the younger crowd (ages 7-10).

Hi, Thalia! I can't answer about the badge requirements, but I hope to help out with some of those events geared toward the younger crowd.

I plan on running a few demo sessions of a family-friendly module I've written for Clockwork Gnome Publishing. "Trail of the Apprentice #1: The Bandit's Cave" is the first installment of a mini-campaign designed for players (and even GMs) who are young or just new to the Pathfinder RPG rules.

Hi Thalia,

There was another similar thread with almost exactly the same question, taking a look might answer yours :)

I wanted to let you folks know that I'm running some demo Pathfinder sessions that are "off-grid". The link below provides details about the family- and new-player friendly scenarios I'm demonstrating.
