Sorta last minute, I know, but it recently came to my and my husband's attention that there is a group who shows up at A-Kon every year wanting to play PFS but no GM to run a game. So, we're trying to get a game or two together sometime during the con. We're thinking Friday night (around 7-8pm) but we're wondering when people would want to play. The tabletop gaming room is pretty full; all of the reserve-able tables are taken for the whole weekend, and there are a few first come, first serve tables, but there's no way to know when we'd be able to get one.
So, is anyone here interested, and if so, when would you be available?

I live in the Dallas area. I'll be at A-Kon Friday night through Sunday midday, although I'll be there with my younger cousin (who's never been to any con, anywhere). I probably won't arrive until after 8pm Friday night (have to drive out to Mineral Wells to pick her up). I would like to get some PF in if there's a table over the weekend. I'll bring my stuff.
I don't have a specific schedule for the weekend since it's kind of a chance for my cousin to explore. I also don't know how independent she's going to feel :)

Well, to anyone who's interested, if you'd like to exchange info, email us at pathfinder (at) sakabatou (dot) net. Since I'm not sure when we're going to be able to get a table in the gaming room, it might be handy to be able to contact each other at the con in case whatever plans we make ahead of time fall through. :)

I plan on being at the con all weekend, though I live about ten minutes away so I'm not actually staying at one of the hotels. I'd be interested in playing and chatting about organizing PFS stuff in the future.

Sorry I can't really help you with this, like I said I am going to PaizoCon this weekend, but looks a few in our San Antonio group are going.
What ever happened to the Dallas Organizer?

No idea what happened to him; I've been posting on the A-kon board about it, and it sounds like he's been a no-show for the last few years and hasn't done anything this year.

Okay, it sounds like we are going to try and get everyone together at 3pm on Saturday in the tabletop gaming room. Whether we can actually play then will depend on if we can get a table or find another spot to play, but we'll at least know more at that point, and figure out exactly how many people we'll have (sounds like we have around 5-6 right now including Minn and myself, there may be more if everyone from the San Antonio group shows up.) Still feel free to email us, I have been exchanging phone numbers with those interested so we can text each other at the con to keep each other updated.

We've got an event on the calendar set up here: http://paizo.com/pathfinderSociety/events/v5748mkg09yvr
We're planning to run "Delirium's Tangle" and "Mists of the Mwangi", which are both tier 1-2 or tier 4-5. If enough people show up with characters of the appropriate level, we can put them all in the higher-level slot, otherwise everybody should have a level 1 or 2 character ready. I'll bring a bunch of pregens for people who don't have anything.

Many thanks to everybody who showed up! We had a total of 6 people, so not quite as many as I was hoping for, but still enough for one good group. We didn't have any problem finding space to play, although it was kind of tough to talk loudly enough that everybody could hear me. Hopefully everybody had fun, and maybe we can reserve a table or two next year.
