Hi folks,

I am planning on running Silent Tide, and the Hydra's Fang Incident (time permitting) at the Compleat Strategiest in New York City starting at noon on Saturday, September 6th. Anyone is welcome!

This will not be a store-sponsored event, but is part of the regular D&D meetup group there. As the "Report my Event" section of this website is not up and running yet, I will have to wait to submit the results, but hopefully that should not be too long.

The Store is located at:
11 East 33rd Street (between 5th Ave and Madison)

If you'd like to come, please RSVP at http://dnd.meetup.com/3/

Anyone welcome!

There is going to be a regular game night every Wednesday Night starting 9/17 at Neutral Ground.

We have put together a Yahoo group

http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/Pathfinder_NYC/

This group is an open forum for organizing games, and discussing the Pathfinder RPG and the Pathfinder Society campaign. We will be based out of Neutral Ground

Neutral Ground is located at:
15 West 37th Street
(212) 633 - 1288

Please check out our website at www.neutralground.com

Feel free to join us the larger the pool of NYC players the better we are 40 strong and growing.

Hi Crow,

I am familiar with Neutral Ground and checked their calendar, but did not see any Pathfinder-related stuff. But then again, they haven't posted much for September yet. That's why I decided to put together a groupd through Meetup. Would it be a problem for you if I ran those adventures on the sixth? I doubt there would be much overlap between the two groups; plenty of Big Apple gamers around.

I subscribed to the Yahoo group, so thanks for that info as well. I am definitely more interested in GMing, but would play as well.

Not at all I saw your post and signed up for the meet up group I plan on attending. You have Pathfinder, 3.5 and $4e on the list so I only expect you will get a couple of tables of PS.

I love the Complete Strategist almost as much as I love Neutral Ground but for different reasons. CS has the obscure gaming stuff that NG doesn't have and NG stays open late so I can set after work games CS closes most nights by 7pm which makes it impractical for a weekly game day

More opportunities is always better

I did not, Tim. The only one I know by name at the store is Larry :) Been coming to TCS for years both at the 33rd St location and the old ones on 57th. Will introduce myself the next time I come in. Love the store.

Do you mean by this that you own it, or that it is your FLGS of choice?

edit: I also RSVP'd and can't wait to get my PFS character christened in the campaign. w00t!

There are still some slots available at my table next Saturday for "Silent Tide" and "Hydra Fang" if anyone in the NYC area is interested. If you're willing, sign up at the address I posted above.

Would you like me to put the word out for you to some of the Strat regulars? I could probably rope you a few players, if you want.

I'll be there Saturday at noon.

Icon, what's going on with the Pathfinder game you were planning to run? Is everything okay?

Branding, Tim, please count me in, also I live on a luxury building 2 ave away from the strad, so if you need another venue close by for after hour socializing let me know.

I think I am set for Branding's game of Silent Tide, but I'm not sure. Being on two fora at once trying to do the same thing is confusing...Can someone let me/us know who's running PFS, when, what adventure, and who's playing what?

Hi folks,

Just to clear things up:

I will be running "Silent Tide" at the Compleat Strategist this coming Saturday (see my above post for details of time and place). This will not be a store-sponsored event, but is part of a regular NYC Dungeons & Dragons Meetup ... er, meetup, so there will be lots of other gamers there as well. I originally thought that we might have been able to plow through "Silent Tide" and get to "Hydra's Fang" as well, but since the time is limited, I would prefer to limit it to the former.

As of this moment, yoda8myhead, baron arem heshvaun, and Freehold DM signed up for my table through this thread. They will be joined by two others who signed up through the meetup.com website. If you have a different screen name at meetup, and have told me you want to join there, please let me know! I don't want to count you twice.

If you posted here that you want to play and I didn't catch it, I apologize. Please let me know again.

Since the mods can handle up to seven PCs (please correct me if I am wrong), that means I still have two chairs left open at my table.

I will be sending out individual emails to everyone just to doubly confirm and to pass on any ideas/concerns/requests I may have.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Thanks, Rich. I couldn't find anything official either, actually. Maybe I should limit it to six, just to be on the safe side. Hmmm ...

Thanks so much, Gotham Gamemaster.

So obviously there is only one free chair at my table now.

So that we are all aware of each other's character selection, (not that anyone's going to change for one game, but still...) I'm going to be playing a halfling monk in the Osirion faction.

I won't be getting home until well past 4 am Friday, I know the meetup starts at 12 but around what time do you think our little crew will begin our session ? If ever you want to run Hydra's Fang I live 2 avenues away from the Strat, and have a killer rooftop view of the city : )

We're planning on starting between 12:15 and 12:30. Any chance of getting there by then? If you get to bed right at 4, that's almost 8 hours of sleep, that's more than enough! :(

But 12:30 it is then.

I would play even in the Eye of Abendago! Bring it on, rain man!

Also, does anyone need a mini for their PC? I have a ton and can bring extras if people have requests.

Welmet, fellow yorkers !

Happy to learn Pathfinder is having a group in Compleat Strategist.
I happen to play there every 3rd saturday of the month, in an Eberron campaign with a group of guys.
Some of them come every week end to get their dose, whether it's for D&D, Exalted or any other crazy game.

Best of luck for your campaign.
May the d20 be with you.

If you have an elven fighter mage type it would be wonderbar !

I guess I don't have to bring my Boba Fett with jet pack after all.

Boba Fett? You have Boba Fett? Oh, definitely bring Boba Fett. I am sure I can find a place for him among my minions. Any party is cooler with Boba Fett in it.

If I see goblins riding War Rancors I'm so outa there : )

NOOOOOOOOOO sleep yet and 4 hours until the meet up, and surprisingly my 4th Star Wars post in a day, signs of a long day ahead of us.

Oh and since it's on Golarion, I'll drop the bounty hunter tag and make Boba Fett a ranger. With a jet pack. And flamethrower. Fair ?

What level do I have to be to summon his mount, Slave 1 ?

Boba Fett? Where? ::turns around clumsily::

It was great meeting you guys today. I look forward to future PFS sessions if we are so lucky to see one another at them. Here's to Lucky, the party's most effective combatant!

Lucky the wolf has earned the right to pick his own faction!

Thanks for the game, Branding, and it was great to meet everyone else. I'm not sure I'll be playing at NG but if there's more PFS at the Strategist, I'd be happy to play again.

Well is was a great time I'm glad I at least got to say hi to you gentlemen at the other table. After the first mod we headed out to NG and played the second one Hydra's Fang all I can say is think outside the box and pack some extra scrolls of Cure Light Wounds.

Gotham Gamemaster I am curious why you wouldn't play at Neutral Ground?

From what I heard from the players at my table you great fun to play with

I would also like to say that I had a good time tonight at the Strategist.

I mentioned this to Gotham Gamemaster, but I thought I'd throw it up here as well. I'm new to NYC and looking for a regular Pathfinder game so if anyone has a spot let me know.

Anyway hopefully I'll see some of you at the next PFS at neutral ground, I'll be joining the (yahoo? or google? can't remember right now) group as well.
