I just noticed on the OotS website that Rich Burlew is putting out another book, but this time it is the origin of the bad guys (Xykon, Redcloak, etc.). Over 100 pages of brand new, never-before-seen comics. As Thor might say, "BOOYAH!"

I have "On the Origin of the PCs" and it is well worth it. I'm probably going to get the OotS boardgame for my housewarming party. :)

I've got all the books so far, and they all rock. Even though two of them are collections of the online stuff, they at least have some extra content.

I have all the books so far and I scored a copy of Paladin Blues that I got Mr. Burlew to sign and draw a Oots-style mock-up of my then current character. I love his stuff but that instantly made me a fan-boy! I should scan it and post a link to the pic, just to get the geek-props.

Heads up Lilith. I just got the game today and had the chance to play it.

READ THE DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY. Spent the first hour of play diving through the rulebook to figure out how to handle most of the game, not fun.

But once you get the rules under your belt it is a lot of fun.

NOTE: Prepare to hate the person who gets Belkar. Prepare to laugh evily if it's you.

What are everyone's opinions on the gender of Vaarsuvius? This has been a matter of contention with a friend of mine since I started reading OotS.

Although it is now one of the great OOTS mysteries, I think Rich Burlew originally intended V to be male.
