Since Last Time....:
After the incident with the Crab Men and Taith with the weird deity messenger, Waynab left with Verrin to try to do some good in the world. He realized that he was probably better at destruction than kingdom building and didn’t really like the idea of setting up a government anyway. He is a complete free spirit and feels very strongly that other people should be free as well. So he went hunting for a tyrannical dictator island to harass. He island-hopped in his little boat (it was 40 ft or so, yes?), for a few years while trying to find a terrible little lawful evil kingdom to subvert. He found a group of 4 small island and one larger island that was its own little human kingdom.

The center island was the hub of the kingdom, with the king ruling from the capital port city. Each of the outer islands was ruled by an appointed Barron. Unfortunately, an evil uncle, Duke (now king) George Regan had usurped the throne from the rightful heir, the young 17-year-old Princess Joanna. Three of the four Barrons were loyal to the late king and would recognize Joanna as king, but they were afraid of the Duke’s military power. The duke had been squashing resistance at every opportunity when Waynab came along. Waynab saw his moment, and found his way into the heart of the opposition. With his incredibly charismatic nature (and his headband too boot), he and Joanna drilled the rebel group (the Queen’s Gang) into a regular fighting force. What they lacked for in skill and education, they had in heart. He makes a new best friend (also his sidekick) Cildad. After sneaking into the castle in the capital, they attempted to capture the duke, who jumped from a window in the throne room to his death rather than be captured. (Just to be clear, there is no romantic interest here. Waynab is in his fifties, a gnome, and has little interest in 17- to 19-year old humans)

The entire operation took 2 years, 3 months and ended just as spring was beginning. In gratitude to Waynab, she appointed him the position of Chief of Ceremonies, which he declined immediately. He did, however, gratefully accept her gift of a Sailing Ship, the Annabel (90ft long, 20ft wide). While many of the Queen’s Gang stayed with the Joanna, a few opted to come with Waynab and become the crew of the Annabel. (total of 27 characters) Waynab takes the boat, his followers, his sidekick, and his fellow PCs (somehow) and goes off to find other evil dudes to harass. Waynab has several flags from his ship, many of them pirate flags, but at least one flag from each kingdom he has successfully helped (three, we’ll say) plus a merchant flag. Usually, the Queen Joanna’s flag is up with the merchant flag underneath. The gang is still known as the Queen’s Gang, but they are now better known as a group of lawless do-gooders than as the group that helped Queen Joanna regain her throne.
