Well... it seems there's a lot more stuff to add the Ogerkin templete to.
This game is amazing. Full of story, with lethal, lethal combat. Don't pull your sword unless you believe that what you are doing is worth dying for.
I hope the head on this mini is not attached. His helmet is one of the major magic items of this adventure path and It would be cool if the PCs could easily pit this head on their character's mini.
This book is worth buying for the art alone.
Looks like he has Dragon scales for his back, very cool.
Paizo, go ahead and throw this into Ultimate Combat.
I got a noble's going on a fox hunt picture in my head while reading it.
DM, "You want to want?"
Saboteur Steve, "I'm going to make their own trap blow up in their face."
DM, "Oh... okay, I'll make a note."
An hour later, the PC's here a boom. Less bad guys show up to help the end boss.
As soon as I saw the Gunslinger, I thought of how awesome the Reaper mini is going to look. I can't wait!
I soon as I finished reading this item entry, I thought of my all dwarf party making a hole in a cave/dungeon wall, digging for an hour and then letting their magic hallway to their new secert room go way. Nice.
I like this item. There isn't enough magic lanterns, which is odd because you can find a hunderd minitures and art pieces with characters holding them.
I can see the power level of this item changing as more and more channel positive/negative energy feat come out, like in the new magic book set to release soon.
Best item I've seen so far.
One question, when running or charging is there a way to not make the boots catch everything on fire? It doesn't say that ability can be suppressed, but it doesn't say it can't either.
Victor Miller, Minotaurs all around the world hate you.
I noticed this didn't have a uses per day, so you can keep starting over that the start of a maze agian and agian.
I like this item. You always see drawings of characters with tiny bones tied to their belts and necklace; I'm glad someone finally made one really magical.
I'm taking it that if the target passes it's save, nothing happens, which makes me feel better about the item. Did you playtest this? I don't really see a problem with the pricing. In a way, it's just a 3rd level (or lower) scroll you can recharge. If after playtesting the price does seem a little high, I would just raise the DC for the Will save.
Everyone did a great job, and for those of you that didn't make it, get to work, next year will be here before you know it.
As said above, I think shooting for a lower word count than you were allotted is a good rule for any writing assignment you get. Editors always seem to need more room; to squeeze in an extra piece of art, add a cool magic item somewhere else in the book, or just make space for those āotherā writers that do run over their word count. If you become known as the writer that makes that space for the editor, that can only help get you more jobs in the future.
I see they didn't give her the crazy fingers that she has on the cover of Howl of the Carrion King.
I hope that the head can be removed easily, those mask were so easy to come by in the Curse of the Crimson Throne AP. You could also just throw them on the body of any other ninja looking figures to give you bunch of diffrent looking assassins.
Hugo, throw Glen and I into the artist pot.
This $#*! just got real.
It was great Neil. I had a really fun time. I'm sorry we took so long with that first fight and you couldn't really showcase half your adventure. Then agian, if this was a home game, it would have been great to have your party fall right into that trap like that. I had a great time and would love to run this myself. If this came out as a module, it would be a blast to run it back-to-back with Realm of the Fellnight Queen.
I had a great time. I would love to keep a party going on with this story. I would totally buy a PDF of this game to run with Neil's other module (and maybe step into the first world after that). Agian I had a great time. Thanks Neil!
Dirty Poor??? I'm wearing over 30lbs of mithiral! I was just asking because I'm picturing my character as the knight in shining armor, and going into a smaller (poorer) town, I could see him being loose with his coin to help the ill and the down.
Neil, I just noticed, none of the character have any money.
The cover looks great. Thank you Wayne!
Poor Sir Navarrus Winnt, it's a rough life defending your friends from the world full of evils.
I'm in the Saturday morning game. Lazlo Briarbrimmon sounds fun, a lot of fun really, but I think I'm going to save the party's lives by not allowing myself to play the wizard... so I'm going to go with Sir Navarrus Winnt, sword and broad meat-shield.
Just a note to my group. I am famous, FAMOUS!, for rolling badly. If I'm not GMing, I can't hit anything and I can't dodge anything. I'll do my best by you, but you have been fairly warned. The phrase 'meat-shield' came about because of people that rolled dice like me.
Be Warned! This mini is showing Twig & Berries.
I'm looking VERY forward to this one! The new reaper gnolls, are the only gnolls I've seen that look right to me. Big heads, big backs. It's nice to know that when I run this I'll have the right mini for the job.
Tell your GM that along with that fifteen dollars I also gave you one hunderd millon XP.
Gold and jewels coming your way.
I need it, my email is REDACTED BY COSMO , just write me and we'll figure out how to process.
It sucks you can't come though.
That too bad your wife won't be able to make it, but I'll take it if that's cool.
. My email is TheTwitchking82@yahoo.com just write me there and we can figure everything out.
Thanks.

Already burned my!
First, let me say I'm sorry for your pet. My girlfriend is a zoo keeper and we have have pets, so I know how rough doctor visits can be after hearing about her work days.
Second, I just read this post, so if Hugo's school yard 'dibs; holds, I would love to take those tickets off your hands. My personal email is TheTwitchking82@yahoo.com if you prefer to answer me there. Either way, thank you for your time and I hope your pet gets well.

What are the chances on getting a Red Mantis assassin mini out? They were such a magor part of CotCT, and it appears they will be agian in the Serpent's Skull adventure path. It just seems like there would be a mini of them wearing their bug helmets to use for these adventures.
Hugo, Glen Zimmerman and I are up for art orders if you need us.
I really hope that the Gray Maidens lived on some how after the adventure path, they seem too cool to let just vanish off in the wind.
Hugo! I'm in the same boat as you. So if you don't get in and I don't get in, we'll have to find something to do. If extra tickets do appear and are for sell agian though, please email me (right after you buy yours of course) at thetwitchking82@yahoo.com and if I see them first I'll be sure to let you know.
I have some questions about the Vouivre on page 88, but first let me say it's a great monster and I really like it.
Can her humanoid half wield weapons with her humanoid arms? I'm guessing yes, because I cannot think of no reason why she couldn't. If so, how does this change her full attack? Does she get two additional off-hand attacks with those weapons? Just the two weapon attacks, and a off-hand bite? It seems like it could be taken different ways.
Since the Vouivre technically has two heads, meaning two mouths, do we treat her like all other two-headed monsters with a breath weapon and let each mouth have a separate breath weapon and round count or does the dragon head alone have the breath weapon?
I really like this monster. I like how it doesn't feel like anything else, and I believe it could a be end of the campaign type boss with the addition of some class levels, and that is why these questions came to mind.
Hugo, just let me know and Glen Zimmerman and I can load you down on any art you need.
I think it's taking so long to tell us who the guest of honor is because Aberzombie ate who they had in mind and now they are searching for a less tasty replacement.
Thank you Vic.
So, how awesome is that Glen Zimmerman picture of the wizard and devil going over their deal? I love that pic, great work Glen!
Mr. Wertz
Could you please fix the spelling of my name as well. Mathew "thetwithingking" Stilson, should be Matthew Stinson, I know it was pulled from the inside listing; it's no big deal. No hurry and thanks in advance. Thank you for your time.

I don't know if making this a template was the best idea. I think it would have been better served up as and undead prison in the form of an Iron Man suit, making the undead just a battery (like in the Matrix). I hope your round one and two entries can put in you the Top 8, I would like like to see more of your work.
Yeah! I can see a bunch of Ulfen viking all wearing these as necklaces. It would add to their blood thirsty barbarian look that's for sure.
It's awesome someone from Jacksonville got into the contest two years in a row. I know a lot of the people at the local gaming shops got pretty excited last year. Good luck with Round Three.

I like this item, I would want my characters to have a pair of these gloves.
They would come in real handy when going into a place where you cannot bring your
weapons, like social parties or going before royalty. I don't like how you can
conjure any type of weapon though. That should be worded a little better
or you'll get that one cockroach player wanting to summon up a colossal sized
katana, or a +5 M-16, or a siege weapon... I would have each
pair of gloves focus on a certain weapon, such as gloves of the deceiver
swordsman or deceiver bowman or whatever. If you do that though, you'll have to bring down the price. You might even just go with a weapon groups, like from the fighter class skill. Bowman...? That brings up
another question, if the wearer conjures a ranged weapon does it conjure the
ammo too? I also noticed that as the enchantment bonuses increase the Will
save DC stays the same. Wouldn't the illusion be stronger with the higher enchantment,
higher priced item? All that aside, I want a pair. Good luck with
the Round 2 voting.
I like the idea of this item and I can see many, many uses for it. I would have liked to seen the different waters priced
individually. Some players might just need 14 vials of water of tranfiguration
(glass) or just a single vial; and not want to pay for all the other vials.
You also might have wanted to include touch attack rules, as many characters
will want to turn enemy's non-magic shields, weapons, and armor into glass and paper. I know
this is a great item becaues I can think of a thousand uses for it and that is
something a lot of the other items in the first round can not say. So congrats
on becoming a RPG Superstar and I hope you have come up with a monster that I
can think of a thousand uses for as well. Good Luck!
I like your item, and but not as much as every rogue in the world likes your item. Your concept is right on, but I think could have been more clear on the flavor text. It seems a lot of people didn't get the idea that the illusion was phyical and not a mental image. I'm right there with Clark on wondering why no one has come up with something like this before. Congratulations on being the one to reveal this greatly over looked staple item! Good look with your monster!
Welcome back Matt! Two years in a row is a feat in itself. I really like your item, it is the second best one this round I think. The off-hand slot is an under used slot in 3E and Pathfinder, so it's cool you've had more of a bonus while holding it. It would have been a lot easiler to just called the item "slotless" and been done with it, but that wouldn't have been very Superstar. Games like World of Warcraft and Final Fantasy have done a good job of showing how you can add cool bonues and flavor with the small detailed of a nonweapon off-hand item. Good luck with your monster, you seem really good at the small details and that will that you a long way the next round. Agian, welcome back.
Of all the items in the contest, this one seems the most practical, with enough flavor to make it not sound boring. It is filling more than just a niche, but a commonly talked about situation where heavy armor seems an ill choose; more a need than a niche. This item has a real chance of becoming a staple in a fanasty gaming setting like a flaming longsword or a flying carpet and that makes it RPG Superstar. Good luck on your monster and welcome.
