Background:
Silver Mask, originally Silver Assasin, was the 43rd to bear the name and mask of the Silver Assassins. A hereditary group of killers for hire, each were trained by from parent to child in the arts of assassination, stealth, and telekinetic arts. It was this 43rd generation where the line was broken. The 42nd Silver Assassin was unable to bear children to continue the line. Believing this to be the end of the line of Silver Assassins, he thought he found a way to continue the tradition.

The night of one of his missions, he was to bring death to an entire family. He knew not why, only that the one who hired him demanded that none be left alive. The night of the attack, he was quick, efficient. Yet as he worked, he felt a presence, one he had felt from his father as he taught him the arts. It was in the last room he found the source. A nursery with a new born child, one who possessed the same strengths his own bloodline did. How could this be? But it mattered not to him. This child was not on his list, and could be his line's last hope. Taking the child he fled into the night.

He raised the young girl as his own daughter. In this, he was as harsh with her as his own father had been with him. He deprived her of a name, for their line only took a name when they took the mantle of the Silver Assasin. She would be known as 'girl' until then. Days were spent training, nights recovering and preparing for the next day. When he was on a mission, she would practice what she had been taught. There was no time for friends, for companionship. Only the training.

When she turned 15, the Silver Assassin thought it was time for her to earn her first kill. The mission was to be simple. A reporter had been pushing too far into some businessmen's affair. They were to find his information and end his investigation, permanently. Entering the home was simple enough, doing so before he returned so they could find the evidence and prepare a trap. He planned to let his daughter take the kill, only interfering if necessary.

So when the reporter came home, the girl flew into action. Yet she was not prepared, nor was her father, when the man shattered the bonds she had wrapped around him telekinetically. No, this man was something different, he was a superhero. No, that wasn't right. This was a supervillain. Her father stepped in, the two battling in front of her. The battle was fierce, her father skilled at his trade. But this man was better, if only slightly. In the end, the villain one.

The girl had been too afraid to intervene, but she wouldn't run. And now she lashed out with everything she had. To no effect. Thrown into a wall, she attempted to recover, beliving she was soon to join her father when a sudden sound and a flash drew her attention. Trained reflexes had her hiding before the heroes came through the house, and another battle erupted. The villain managed to escape, but while the fight ensued, the girl made up her mind.

The Silver Assassins had come to an end, at least for now. But she wanted revenge. So a planned form inside her head. She would take on a new name, at least for now. She would become the Silver Mask, and she would become a hero. At least until she found the villain who killed her father. And with his death, the Silver Assassin would be reborn.

GM NOTE: Who this villain is and if you choose to use him I've left up to your care at this point. If you decide not to use these background elements, that's fine, but it's there as a tool for you to use if you so choose.

Personality:
Silver Mask is a very quiet individual. She's either trained alone or with her father up to this point, the majority of her contact with others being his lessons in looking inconspicuous. This isn't to say she has no familiarity with the modern world. Dealing with it is a requirement in life, she simply doesn't understand the concept of entertainment.

RP-wise, I plan to play up the aspect of beginning to mesh with society. I can see the character evolve based on group actions and whatnot as to choosing a more social lifestyle. I'll be playing alot of it by ear though.

Powers:
Silver Mask's powers at their heart are telekinetic abilities gained through both a hereditary power and practiced use. The focus of this use is the creation of telekinetic constructs used for a variety of purposes. Using telekinesis for example often appears as a set of translucent purple hands grasping an object, or a hook or ropes.

Her Telekinetic Bolt appears as a variety of ranged weaponry from shurikens, knives, arrows, javelins, spears, or anything else imaginable. She changes the form to keep her opponents guessing.

In the same way she can create a variety of melee weaponry to use for close quarters combat, though she prefers ranged. Her favorite tactic melee wise is a telekinetic staff she manipulates on the fly, also providing her with defensive techniques.

Her telekinetic 'flight' is more of a creation of platforms she leaps to and from at high speed, often making them somewhat bouncy to increase the force of her jumps.

In a fight, Silver Mask will try to stay at range, using Telekinetic bolts at a distance, engaging in melee only if necessary.

Appearance (Hero Outfit):

Silver Mask wears the same outfit of the Silver Assassins. A black body suit, obscuring most of her head with brown and grey heavy hooded robes overtop to obscure her movements. A Silver Mask covers her face.

Appearance (Normal):

When not dressed as the Silver Mask, she has adopted a rather mundane appearance. Long blond hair and blue eyes, she ended up adopting the name Alice as that's what she was called the first time someone saw her outside of her outfit. She forgets to respond to the name at times, feeling normal in the Silver Mask outfit.

Complications:

Oath to not kill - Silver Mask has taken an Oath to fulfill the requirement set by her father to become the Silver Assassin. Thus she will not voluntarily take a life until she has completed this task.

Dark Past - She keeps secret her past otherwise she may lose a valuable opportunity to exact her revenge.
