While there's no bloodlines in the book, there's a LOT of stuff about the Mana Wastes and the primal magic that infects the place. Viva Alkenstar!
I got my copy in the mail today. Love that I have it, but I'm just a little disappointed; I did not expect that it would be staple bound, it really makes the book puff out.
Get what use out of it you can before the replacement arrives and then destroy it in as environmentally friendly manner as possible. Our main concern is that defective product not end up back in circulation where someone else could get it and then be disappointed. I got my copy of Margreve in the mail today, but a replacement for Northlands wasn't included. Was that supposed to ship separately?

What about Empire Building? Creating colonies? Making other kingdoms vassals? What about other types of governments like the republic of Andoran? Can you create (Destroy!!!) a tyranny like Cheliax? Ooh! Wow! Excellent points ther, would love to see those more fully fleshed out.

I just received this shipment and am saddened that Tales of Old Margreve was not included in the package. Plus, it looks like I received a defective copy of The Northlands. The right half section of page 2 is filled in black. Plus the lower right image on some of the pages (all pages in which a chapter begins; 3, 19, 35, etc.) obscures text, making it unreadable.

Just tried to download the update to 4 Winds Book of Arcane Magic and it got saved as a .1 file. What the heck? No PDFs?
The monk is the one 3.5 core class that was almost completely rewritten in the pages of Heroes of the Jade Oath. It is far more mystical and uses chakras with sect templates to make different types of monks that include the sutra-casting contemplative monk, spellcasting kenza, cooperative fighting sohei, sadhu ch'i masters, the soft martial art huashan, hard-hitting seng, the grappling and philosophizing thaskalos of the west, and the armored and minor spellcasting yamabushi. The Monk Archetypes PDF takes that material and applies it to the Pathfinder monk class as archetypes. You might be interested in my Anchorite base class, which replaces monks in my Pathfinder Homebrew.

Just watched the vid for the second time. Could have sworn I caught a glimpse of Margreve on the map. Is Midgard part of the the larger world of the area of Margreve?
