Makin It Real:

Appearance: Haywood is ordinary. So ordinary that he’s usually overlooked. He’s average height, weight with brown hair and dull grey eyes. He looks like an accountant and that’s exactly what he wants.

History: Haywood Estevez is a criminal. Ever since he first laid hands on a keyboard he’s been breaking into networks and stealing information. After all, information is money. And Haywood wants money. Lots of it. Loads of the stuff. He wants the finer things in life. He wants beautiful women to want him for his money. He wants fancy cars and high rises. The only problem is that his success depends on him not being noticed. Which he hates. It was this drive for notoriety that drove him to apply for the Engel project. He was rejected, but not before a member of the Eldritch Society noted certain aspects of his physical and psychological profile. He was brought into the Society and undertook the Rite. To most of his fellow members’ surprise, he was chosen. By a Phantom, which is the opposite of Haywood: well-rounded and useful. Still, it’s brought him some admiration. And in his spare time he can still steal the personal information of the rich and famous. And if he eats a few people now and then, so much the better!

Personality: Haywood desperately wants to be liked. Desperately. But perhaps because of his need to be liked, he’s fiercely protective of those he deems friends.

Motivation: More. More money, more power, more admiration. More.

Family: Youngest of three kids. Two older brothers, both successful. One is a decorated Mech Pilot, the other is a business tycoon with secret ties to a cult. Mother is overbearing and judgemental. Father is dead (heart attack, though Haze thinks it might have been suicide by donut)

Friends: Not many. All his friends are online, on hacker websites and forums. The society is all the friends he needs, anyway.

Tager’d Abilities:

Intellect: 7
Perception: 7/9
Presence: 4
Strength: 6/9
Tenacity: 9/12

Vitality: 12/15
Drama Points: 10
Armor: 2/2
Regeneration: 1/3

Tager Attacks:
Arcane Blast – Range 30/75/200, Damage +2, Shots 3, Infinite Rounds
Blades (+2) – These blades often extend from the forearms of the Tager.
Howl (+0) – Range of 20 ft. Target must succeed at a Challenging Strength Feat Test or be knocked to the ground.

Limit Weapon:
Tentacle Sheathe (+3) – A mass of tentacles bursts out of the Phantom’s chest, covering a 30 ft. cone in front of him. Everything caught within the tentacles is attacked, at no Multiple Action Penalty. One of the targets, randomly selected, must also succeed at a Challenging Strength Test or the symbiont will drag him back and eat him. This takes one full turn and results in the death of the victim. This uses all Actions and can be the Tager’s only Action that turn.
