About Elandor Nark

Appearance:

Elandor follows his mother’s side when it comes to appearance; he has a brown eyes and dark black hair. When he does not wear the fine elven silk wizards robes gifted to him by Ashline of Kandor he wears the most elegant clothes he can afford. Elandor possesses a complete wardrobe of fashionable masterwork clothing used to woe Danika and impress the establishment.

Origins:

Origins
Elandor was a sensitive but happy young boy from the mountainous city of Kandor. He had showed very early signs of artistic talent under his mother’s tutelage, and may have had a different life if not for the taint. He was grievously affected by his mother’s early mysterious death, and drew more reclusive and cautious after that. Her death appeared very taboo and Elandor he had little emotional support. His father, a career bureaucrat with the Kandor’s Transportation and Trade office, was too overworked to care closely for his only son. Elandor wandered the streets of Kandor with his sketch book, along with the Samuel and the other boys close to his age causing children’s mischief, but his heart was rarely in it. There was no doubt that Samuel lead the crew, but there was also no doubt that Elandor was the one who got his friends out of trouble.

At 12 the taint was discovered, and his bottled abilities bloomed seemingly overnight. He still dreams of spending those long hours in his sketch books rather than his Academy study books; but the world of the wizards of Arcanis, quickly tempered his childhood dreams.

Elandor only partially understands people’s aversion to the undead and is fascinated by death, and thus chose to pursue the study of Necromancy. He truly believes than one can elect to serve the living beyond death. For example a poor farmer who has left little to his children could devote himself to serve as an undead for ten years following his death to assist his family. Some criminals may need to repay their debts to society, even after they have been executed, etc…

He holds in high esteem the tenants of Taylaya.

Power over Undead You receive Command Undead as a bonus feat. You can channel energy a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Intelligence modifier, but only to use the selected feat. You can take other feats to add to this ability, such as Extra Channel and Improved Channel, but not feats that alter this ability, such as Elemental Channel and Alignment Channel. The DC to save against these feats is equal to 10 + 1/2 your wizard level + your Charisma modifier. At 20th level, undead cannot add their channel resistance to the save against this ability.
Bolster (Sp): As a standard action, you can touch an undead creature and infuse it with negative energy. It gains a +1 profane bonus on all attack rolls and saving throws, as well as 1 temporary hit point per Hit Die and a +2 bonus to its turn resistance. The bonus on attack rolls and saving throws increases by +1 for every 5 wizard levels you possess. These bonuses last for a number of minute (instead of rounds) equal to 1/2 your wizard level (minimum 1 round). The bonuses and temporary hit points are immediately dispelled if the creature is within the area of a consecrate spell. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Intelligence modifier.
Life Sight(Su): At 8th level, you gain blindsight to a range of 10 feet for a number of rounds per day equal to your wizard level. This ability only allows you to detect living creatures and undead creatures. This sight also tells you whether a creature is living or undead. Constructs and other creatures that are neither living nor undead cannot be seen with this ability. The range of this ability increases by 10 feet at 12th level, and by an additional 10 feet for every four levels beyond 12th. These rounds do not need to be consecutive.

His bond with his talisman is like few other wizards, it is a reservoir for his love and resentment. It embodies all his hopes and fears. In his first year, he harnessed his new magic talent and most of his savings to create it. Protected within lays a lock of his mother hair.
