The power company will be shutting off power to the neighborhood sometime today for some amount of time to do some maintenance work. No, really. The exact quotes are "we apologize we're unable to provide an exact time your power will be off" and "Length of outage: Up to 8 hours between 8am and 4pm".

This was originally scheduled for Wednesday last week(!) but a whole lot of calls, including mine, pointed out that the day before Thanksgiving was a bad day to randomly lose power for some undisclosed length of time.

I am shutting down the servers in the house in preparation before I head off to work.

On WINTER (okay technically late fall but still), that's kind of dangerous if you live somewhere that gets cold this time of year.

Well...last time I used Angelic Bond was Mar 28, 2023. Also, I'm not currently using it, at least not yet... I just used Menacing Presence (a mythic ability and I have 7 mythic points (one spent today)). I've used Power of Faith today, but I can use that up to 9 times in a day.

Catching Alexa's gaze and responding with a quick grin of her own, Darya's face returns to it's previously deadly serious expression as she approaches the surrendering guards, kicking aside their weapons and commanding them each to extend their arms with wrists together as she proceeds to tie a series of handcuff knots with a 50ft length of rope, allowing them to be led along together while restrained.
