About Aublin Dudmer
Grew up in Falcon's Hollow, a backwater town on the fringes of Andor. His father was a Forlorn elf who wandered into town with a caravan, settled with his mother--who gathered wildflowers from the forest and wove baskets from reeds, then wandered back out into the world just before Aublin was born.
Aublin grew up doing the only job available to him--cutting wood for the Consortium. Eventually he met a girl and had a couple of children, but the blackscour plague took them all and ravaged his health badly enough he lost his job at the lumberyards.
So he headed south to Absolom, following rumors of his father--the only family he had left. Instead he found the church of Pharasma, became a cleric and settled in the Puddles District. He associates with the Pathfinder Society and the Sczarni Faction, the life of a cutthroat adventurer allowing him the chance to study death up close. The only education he's ever had was training in the church, so his interest in death isn't scholarly--it's visceral, like a hungry scavenger or a wounded animal that wants to die.
