Link (Ex) A druid can handle her animal companion as a free action, or push it as a move action, even if she doesn’t have any ranks in the Handle Animal skill. The druid gains a +4 circumstance bonus on all wild empathy checks and Handle Animal checks made regarding an animal companion.
Share Spells (Ex) The druid may cast a spell with a target of “You” on her animal companion (as a spell with a range of touch) instead of on herself. A druid may cast spells on her animal companion even if the spells normally do not affect creatures of the companion’s type (animal). Spells cast in this way must come from a class that grants an animal companion. This ability does not allow the animal to share abilities that are not spells, even if they function like spells.

Date of Birth: Fireday the 20th of Gozran, 4470

Alendiri Faladiir was born in Southern Rostland, decades before the arrival of Choral the Conqueror. His father fought, and was injured in battle against the great conqueror's forces when they arrived, before the native Rostlanders were defeated in the Valley of Fire. Alendiri however was fascinated by Choral's forces, and his great dragon allies as he grew, a fact which somewhat estranged him from his father. He remained close with his mother and she taught him many things about the natural world, and he grew to form a deep bond with the things that lived and crawled in and upon the earth.

His youthful fascination with war and more martial pursuits faded under the gentle tutelage of his mother, and as he approached his hundredth year, with the country calmed beneath Choral's yoke he set forth to explore. He traveled far from his home near Restov, venturing south into the Stolen Lands and through many other kingdoms, before returning north, decades later to settle at last within the Gronzi Forest. Though his mother had taught him much of beasts and bugs, he found the calming presence of the great old forests more to his liking.

Now a full fledged Druid he spent another century of his long life communing with the wise old trees, and protecting them from loggers, until word of Choral's disappearance finally stirred him from his long isolation. The long-lived elf returned south, to Restov once more, and learned of the opportunity being offered, a chance explore again the untamed wilderness, and it was rumoured, perhaps to guide it's future.
