The goal for all orders, regardless of destination, is to arrive as close to the August 2 release date as possible, and shipments will be staggered accordingly.
Mr. Wertz if you get me my copy early, I will be your best friend. Honest.
Unfortunately I wasn't. I had finished up school and still unemployed. Now next year is not looking good, 4 weeks ago I had a stroke and don't know how long it will be to recover let alone work. My wife really misses the con.
Sadly my wife and I again can not go. I have finally finished my schooling and received my license no job as of yet. That should change soon and we are planning on returning next year. Everybody have fun!!!

Selective but highly successful harvests* continue to provide numerous attendees with the chance to enjoy these fine all-natural products. We would like to take this time to reiterate that Goblin Brains are produced entirely from organic ingredients, and natural processes. However due to FDA threats suggestions received, we now offer a line of 'less-processed' Beige Brains alongside the customary Goblin Green Brains.
If you are attending PaizoCon 2016 and wish to revel in delight and enchant your palette with the rich yet sweet pate pâté of Golarion's tiniest terrors, simply list here a name which will be on your PaizoCon Badge.
This can be your real name or board alias, as long as you make sure you set that under customize my badge on the E-Tickets page.) If known, include your day/time of arrival (Late Wednesday, Early Friday, etc.) Posting or private messaging your Room # when known will also increase speed (and likelihood) of delivery.
The first 56 PaizoCon attendees to post to this thread will be guaranteed a goblin brain. Please advise if you would prefer a Beige Brain instead of the traditional, tastier, Green.
Don't miss out on the best Golarion Goblins have to offer! - their sinister, pyromaniacal minds!

... Jeni and I would like to make our reservations for next year.
Ugh, for the second year in a row, my wife and I are not able to attend. Its all my fault. I am finishing up school next month, then start working again. So next year is our target date to return. We will miss yall that we met the several years before then. Have fun and roll high!!!
and this is why I am upset we couldn't go this year. This and the heartbreak all my fans must be going through not being able to rub elbows with me.
Thanks all, we do plan on making it next year. Have fun everyone !!!
For me at least. I had to cancel my hotel registration for PaizoCon. My wife and I will not be able to make it this year. We have had a blast the last three years. Hopefully things will go right and we will return next year.
2 people marked this as a favorite.

The initial Paizocon "ticket sales are open" announcement. Not the PFS announcement.
"We're cutting 150(?) RP seats every day, in the middle of each of those days, with no plan to replace them" is the kind of thing that should, at the very least, have been stated up front. I don't see they are cutting any slots. The same number of tables being offered as the past three years, the only difference is this year they added a day and spread those same slots out to cover the extra day. which gives some of us old folks a nap time now. Maybe its more appropriate to say they are missing out on more opportunities for organized play. To answer the original question, Does anyone care? No. Your gonna have fun, your gonna meet strange and new people, it will still be a blast even if the wife and I more than likely can't make it this year. Which I know a lot of you will be sad, I know.

Well we Sacramenton's don't consider ourselves Bay Area, but we do like DunDraCon.

Can anyone direct to link me to some good information on previous PaizoCon's so I can get an idea of how things work?
I've been attending a DunDraCon, my local Con for the 20+ years along with a few other random ones but this will be my first visit to PaizoCon.
Thanks
JD
My wife and I are going to DunDraCon and this will be our fourth PaizoCon.. Fun times.
Ok I know I must have missed it. Its 2015 and the link to PaizoCon on the main page is gone. So I deduced, since my INT is 4, that I missed it.
On a serious note there is a possibility the wife and I may not be able to go this year... =(
< one eye slowly opens....> Is it time yet?
And on a serious note, I know this is a dumb question, where would you tag the modules?
They are called Number Signs !!!!!!

I posted most of the photos already on Facebook, but I know not everyone has or wants to access that service, so:
Saturday Morning PFS room Panorama Search and zoom in. Find yourself or friends in the big room!
I still have to work on the Videos I took at the banquet (and find a place to post them).
Robyn
Robyn,
That is actually Sunday morning. I see my big bald head in the middle, in fact I am standing up wearing the red star wars shirt and I panned around and found my Sunday game. Great picture BTW.
I still haven't seen these alleged brains you claimed to have given to my wife. =)
Ok it's day 1 here at Paizocon. I will be walking around in a blue Superman tee. Don't be shy.
Good news. My wife and I finally made it. We are sitting in the bar area in a booth by the window. I'm the bald guy with tattoos. I am now open to sign autographs for my fans.
I'll be there signing autographs.
BTW I am bringing Justice League and TMNT gummies.

I stayed at a hotel down the street (a very steep street), which was much less expensive and had a fridge. Was it the hotel having the Brony con as well? It was the Clarion. Didn't see any stink'n bronies there. Not the best class of establishment but it was clean and had a fridge - and rooms were nicely sized. And it was also substantially less expensive than the Mariott.
Hey now. Don't look down on other folks for their fandom. *makes grumpy face* Only reason I don't watch that show is I will get addicted.
Ok I may have to setup a table to sign autographs now. Oy the life of a megastar.
No, but where your Pathfinder shirt and you can reroll.
Vic Wertz wrote: 1d8+1 wrote: Just so everyone knows, I will be available to sign autographs all weekend. Do you just sign "1d8+1", or do you roll first and write down the result? I roll only for my special fans.
Lisa I will have to track you down. You are there only one who didn't sign my Rise of the Runelords Special Edition last year.
rknop wrote: Majuba wrote: ... PaizoCon is cozy enough... Wait... aren't you the guy who on another thread said that there are going to be 15 million people there? :)
(Though, I must admit: 15 million people in that hotel would be very cozy.) and smelly....
Just so everyone knows, I will be available to sign autographs all weekend.

Thank you, that clears it up for me.
I just changed again. It was necessary, I am not allowed to talk about it, but they won't catch me now. muwahahahahahaha.
As I am getting back to playing PFS and with the changes made in Season 5, am I to understand I can not buy any of the items on the chronicle sheet until after I have 5 Fame points?
Google maps says 11 hours, but we are going for 10.
Now just 8 days to go. I am not looking forward to the drive from Sacramento though.....

Weird thing, my account transferred fine, but says I need to be in early enrollment or higher. I am at the Crowdforger Buddy level.
OK loaded statement/question.
I have never played it, is it any fun?
Dark Sasha wrote: Turns out that I can make it this year after all.
I'll be coming in Thursday morning and can run a Swords and Wizardry game for folks on Thursday, perhaps a little thing I worked up on my own or one of the many low level Frog God Games adventures.
I'll see what I can finagle from Skeet.
I would be interested in that, but depends we are driving that day from Sacramento, after that long of a drive my wife may have murderlized me by then....

Last year my wife and I got the Rise of the Runelords Special Edition and everyone signed it, except for Lisa, she wasn't around the last day. Sorry about that. I got sick, sick, sick on that last day. :/ I'd be more than happy to sign anything put in front of me. Bring it back this year!
-Lisa Will do, looking forward to it.
Sara Marie wrote: We have currently scheduled the following emails that go to people with PaizoCon 2014 tickets on their accounts:
1) signing up for the lottery
2) reminder before lottery closes
3) Notification of lottery results and ability to trade events/opening of events for general registration
4) reminder before event registration closes to sign up/trade events and transfer any tickets that you want transferred so we can print badges
5) * Other emails as needed
If you want to make sure you are in the loop, ensure the email address we have for you goes to an account that you check frequently (at least once a day/every other day). You can change this by going to your My Account page > Personal Settings
Sara, How long does it take for the tickets to show in your e-ticket bucket after purchasing them?
Mine, Paizo staff is awesome at signing stuff. Last year my wife and I got the Rise of the Runelords Special Edition and everyone signed it, except for Lisa, she wasn't around the last day.
