Queen Galfrey of Mendev, Sword of Iomedae, has called for a fifth and final Mendevian Crusade. An open call has been issued to any with strength and courage to make their way to Clydwell Keep near the city of Kenabres in order to join. She has decreed that anyone who can take and hold blighted lands long enough for a Wardstone to be erected there will be declared lord and master of those lands in perpetuity, under the authority of the crown of Mendev.
Commonplace Guns: While still expensive and tricky to wield, early firearms are readily available. Instead of requiring the Exotic Weapon Proficiency feat, all firearms are martial weapons. Early firearms and their ammunition cost 25% of the amounts listed in this book, but advanced firearms and their ammunition are still rare and cost the full price to purchase or craft.
Alignment:All mortals who lack a divine aura are considered neutral. People with divine auras (clerics, paladins) are an exception. All good gods have paladins, and a paladin's alignment matches its god's. A cleric's alignment must also match their gods. Outsiders and other supernatural beings may fall anywhere on the alignment spectrum. Morality will be fairly grey in my Golarion.
Level: 6
Ability Scores:6d6 drop the lowest three or 20 point buy. You can reroll any score that ends up lower than 6 one time.

Classes:Any paizo on d20pfsrd.com, all archetypes available.
HP:Max at first, then 1/2+1
Traits:2 traits, standard rules apply
Starting Gold:Standard, 16,000 GP (no crafting gear other than potions, wands and scrolls)

...Did you change the thread or something? Damnit, I worked hard on that post...Oh well. Time to start from scratch then.
Here's my Exiled Duregar, updated to be 11 RP
Duregar Exiles are a race of powerful dwarves from deep underground who were cast out from their homeland or chose to leave in order to explore the world above. They are stronger than their normal dwarf cousins, but they have adapted to life above ground unlike their duregar brethren. However, their lessened contact with the earth has diminished their fierce spellcasting abilities and superior eyes.
Crunch:
Type: Humanoid (Dwarf)- 0 RP
Size: Medium- 0 RP
Speed: Slow Speed- -1 RP
Ability Score Modifier Quality- Advanced (+2 Str, +2 Dex, +2 Con, +4 Wis, -2 Cha)- 4 RP
Language Quality- Standard- 0 RP
Defense Racial Traits- Duregar Immunities (Immune to paralysis, phantasms, and poisons, +2 to saves vs spells and SLAs)- 4 RP
Defense Racial Traits- Stability (+4 CMD vs bull rush or trip while standing on the ground)- 1 RP
Skill Racial Trait- Stonecunning (As the dwarf ability)- 1 RP
Senses Racial Trait- Darkvision 60'- 2 RP
Total- 11 RP
I'll be rolling up a Quinggong Monk 6.
Now, about the scores. You say "roll 6d6 drop the lowest two". So that means we'll be using 4d6 to determine each score? What happens if you roll higher than 18?
fnord72
6d6 ⇒ (4, 4, 2, 6, 6, 6) = 28 18
6d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 4, 3, 3, 1) = 17 12
6d6 ⇒ (5, 6, 1, 4, 5, 6) = 27 17
6d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 4, 1, 3, 2) = 13 9
6d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 1, 3, 6, 4) = 19 14
6d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 6, 4, 5, 6) = 24 17
So I would need to downgrade an Aasimar?
I was really thinking of a Wayang Wizard.
I based my stats on the assumption that drop 2 was a typo, if not, woot.

A question about the monk's ki strike ability. Since monks aren't Lawful, would you be willing to let me treat my unarmed strikes as cold iron or silver at level 10 instead?
6d6...highest 3.
I'll try it.
6d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 5, 1, 4, 3) = 17 (12)
6d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 6, 2, 5, 6) = 27 (18)
6d6 ⇒ (4, 2, 5, 6, 5, 3) = 25 (16)
6d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 3, 5, 3, 6) = 23 (14)
6d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 4, 6, 1, 5) = 23 (17)
6d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 6, 4, 5, 2) = 20 (15)
54 point buy. Legit.
I'll begin drawing up my character as soon as my race gets approved.

Now when you say no crafting gear, does that mean crafting will not take a part in the game, or that having crafted something doesn't give extra gerar, the full retail value still counts?
For instance, and pretty much for RP, I pay the total gold/weight cost for a single item that combines the spell component pouch and an adventurer's sash.
What if I wanted to pay the combined cost for a ring of feather fall/sustenance? FF ring costs 2200, sustenance costs 2500, to have both abilities would cost 2500+(2200*1.5=3300)=5800 gold. Doesn't matter if I crafted it or I hired someone to craft it, the total retail value is still counted against starting gold.

I am certainly interested :-)
Possibly a Strix Ranger, or a Fetchling Paladin?
6d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 2, 5, 1, 4) = 19 = 13
6d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 5, 2, 3, 6) = 26 = 17
6d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 6, 2, 6, 4) = 22 = 16
6d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 6, 4, 5, 5) = 29 = 16
6d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 4, 1, 6, 4) = 18 = 14
6d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 3, 3, 1, 6) = 18 = 13
(Before racial modifiers)
Str = 16
Dex = 17
Con = 14
Int = 13
Wis = 13 or 16
Cha = 16 or 13

Hey there DMJelani... oh, and NeoSeraphi (2 games together, oh my)
Rolls
Score 1: 6d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 4, 3, 1, 6) = 17 = 15 (dL2), 13 (dL3)
Score 2: 6d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 4, 2, 4, 6) = 21 = 17 (dL2), 14 (dL3)
Score 3: 6d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 3, 6, 4, 5) = 25 = 19 (dl2), 15 (dL3)
Score 4: 6d6 ⇒ (4, 1, 6, 5, 3, 6) = 25 = 21 (dL2), 17 (dL3)
Score 5: 6d6 ⇒ (2, 3, 5, 3, 2, 6) = 21 = 17 (dL2), 14 (dL3)
Score 6: 6d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 6, 4, 3, 5) = 25 = 20 (dL2), 16 (dL3)
That gives: 17, 16, 15, 14, 14, 13
I'll be taking that.
Presenting Ken Devendell, ardent believer that all things worldwoundish should haul their dark arses back to the hellhole they came from.
As for class, I'd be interested in hearing others ideas so I can make a character that compliments the group.
Tamas the Wanderer
I would like to take a 20 point buy, ending with the stats 7, 7, 11, 14, 14, and 18.
Silly Synthesists and their 7 Dexterity...
Anyway, here's my Duregar Exile Quinggong monk, minus the gear, for your approval.
Just wondering, how much of our 16k are we allowed to spend on one item? (Want to know if I can get a belt of physical perfection +2).
Bigger Club

Concept would be a warmage(Not the class)
A human sorcerer who put his heritage to good use on the battlefield. Seeing an opportunity to sharpen his mastery of the abilities while getting the possibility to reap great rewards instead of measly pay of a soldier he jumped at the opportunity the fifth crusade brought forth.
Mechanics wise I am thinking blasting as a focus.
I will post actual build, background etc. after getting back from work.

Re-posting concept to confirm interest;
Pietry is a young black haired Varisian youth, small-ish with spectacles, dressed in sturdy clothes fit for get muck on them, maybe leather armor tooled as an explores outfit with a long coat with many pockets and a wool scarf to keep out the cold complete with fingerless leather gloves and high boots. (Maybe a rouge 1-2/ wizard 3-4 going Cyphermage.)
Self-Exiled in disgrace from the Order of Cyphers in Riddleport after voicing objections when a rival stole his research and presented it as his own Peitry Valzarion roams Avistan in bitter anger searching for clues and scraps of lore to increase his knowledge and power. His main goal being to unlock enough arcane power to be able to return to the order and humiliate them with his discoveries.
His wanderings have led him to the most unlikely of places; A boat heading to Mendev. His destination; The Worldwound. Let them scoff! He would show those bastards the meaning of knowledge. He would harvest reagents from the deamons, discover lost knowledge and find new, practical ways to apply it! The offer of rulership did not entice Peitry, let others squabble with nobles and peasants, run kingdoms and manage armies. Pietry wanted power. What he needed was a place to master it.
Roll later, need to go.

(Gromsch from Greenskins and Dareos from Random Game)
Here is my slightly adjusted concept:
Human Cavalier
I'm Arik, Son of Gorag, one of the last riders of the steppe of golarion. We are proud people, but the wide lands of our ancestors are getting smaller and smaller. More and more settlents are founded in them. But our herdes need wide plains or hillscapes to gaze.
I want to join this crusade to earn the right for my people to feed their herds in this to be founded dominion.

@ NeoSeraphi - Your race is approved. I'll have to think about the Ki Strike thing and let you know later.
@ Fnord72 - No, you can play an aasimar. You only need to stick to 11 RP if you are making a custom race. Wayang is also ok. As for crafting, I just meant you can't craft things yourself except for wands, scrolls and potions. So you can get the ring you described you just have to pay full retail.
@ Nathaniel - If you want to submit a character, you should put their stats in a messageboard alias and then post here. You may want to at least try rolling your stats, unless you are really unlucky you should have way better than a 20 point buy.
@ Mr. Swagger - Your goals will be your own. You can spend your time conquering one hex, and then ruling it with an iron fist. Or you can conquer one and turn it over to Mendev and just reap the land's incomes. Or you could kill the other PCs and take their land. Hopefully we will have multiple groups of PCs going at once doing different things. Like a miniature MMORPG.
@ Jin - If you pay for the scroll and it's a level you can cast go ahead and add it to your spellbook.
-------------------
Everybody else keep it comin'. I'll answer questions as I see them, if I miss your question just tell me. Once you have a final alias just post with it and say READY FOR APPROVAL.
Since this is a fairly recent idea, I'm gonna need a couple days to flesh out the map and get it populated with NPCs and such. So don't feel super rushed to finish characters. I expect to see decent backstories, personalities and appearance descriptions.

You will form groups of 4-6 before setting out from Clydwell Keep. There will be no PVP within groups. But if two groups should encounter each other the possibility of PVP exists. Because the groups will all be participating in the same game world their actions could affect each other. I will be keeping track of dates and times in game.

Not trying to be a d*ck Nathaniel, but I require my players to have their stats in their alias. If you want a template to copy have a look at something like this.
DM Jelani
I'm not gonna restrict your spending on a per item basis. If you wanna spend all your money on one thing I'm not gonna stop you. Not exactly realistic, but if you blow 16k on a magic sword or something you should write it into your backstory somehow. Maybe you inherited all the money and blew it all or something. Or you saved every cent you ever earned to get it. Be creative.

How many groups will there be, and how will they be handled? Same gameplay thread or separate ones? In the past I've found it difficult to follow a specific series of posts related to a single group (namely mine) that is interspersed with other unrelated posts (for other groups) and spread across multiple pages.

Hello Jelani! You seem familiar...
I'll give this a shot, at least with dice, see if I come up with a good character...
6d6 ⇒ (6, 4, 6, 3, 1, 4) = 24=16
6d6 ⇒ (1, 5, 6, 3, 3, 1) = 19=14
6d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 5, 2, 3, 6) = 22=16
6d6 ⇒ (3, 4, 6, 5, 1, 6) = 25=17
6d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 5, 1, 4, 5) = 22=14
6d6 ⇒ (4, 6, 3, 3, 3, 4) = 23=14
So, nothing phenomenal, but a good mix all around. I'll think on it.
Dark Netwerk
Do we need to take the Fiendish Heritage feat to select one of the alternate Tiefling heritages? I was thinking a Demon-spawn Barbarian related to the original tribes of the Worldwound.
EDIT: Then again, I might just stick with Human (Kellid) anyhow for the extra feat. Thinking about the Large-sized Bastard Sword meme. I know it doesn't really do much in the grand scheme of things but I've been wanting to try it out for a while now.
