GM Mort |
I didn't track with what manuals you used, so if con does not apply then go do something else.
GM Mort |
Also there isn't anything planned for the rest of the day(or for the rest of the week - unless you want to move on to the next section), so feel free to write whatever you want to do (i.e spell research, book research...burials..)
Mr. Whiskers |
Burials, recharge a staff, call in Z once we have a shopping list.
@Robert
Are you taking over the loot list or shall I?
GM Mort |
You can just run to the part (i.e all your planeshifting finger waving) where you do the planeshift to Crummock's Eden.
I won't be running the section in Crummock's Eden (I can't do it justice). Since it's a place of his imagination(create greater demiplane), he gets to run it(AKA - he's GMing this section).
Also because I can't describe scenery.

I don't mind either way. If I focus on the loot list and you focus on what we need from Z that may be for the best. That way we are splitting up the responsibility.
Mr. Whiskers |
So as to not be accused of meta-gaming, I would like to know how much Mr. Whiskers would know of witches, and more specifically Winter Witches.
Things like:
* Use a familiar instead of a spellbook
* Gain their powers from an outside patron
* Spell list
* Hexes commonly used
* Any specific information about Winter Witches, especially Queen Elvana
GM Mort |
I think Baba Yaga more or less told you what you needed to know - their spell list = Enchantment + cold.
Hexes commonly used urmmm....eh. Probably not going to feature too much.
Familiar instead of spellbook is perfectly fine.
Gain powers from an outside patron is fine too - not as if you can cut them away from their power.
GM Mort |
Will wait for Mr Whiskers to planeshift.
Otherwise I can always bot him doing it before Crummock gets off work.
Also I just cooked Marcaroni with chicken, prawn and green pepper and am about to bake craneberry muffins.
I'll see if I can fit in an afternoon swim later once the muffins are done. I guess I can't sit still.
Though I spent the morning doing hearthstone dailies.

Mr. Whiskers |
Plane Shift cast.
If there were more than eight who wanted to go along, Mr. Whiskers could have done that. He would have sent the first eight, and then come along with another group of seven.
He could not do more than that, not enough spell slots.
GM Mort |
No need. Just wait for Crummock to get off work in 2h or so. And thanks.
And yes, I have a life outside pathfinder. Not very much of one, but still, a life?
GM Mort |
*sits back, relaxes and munches popcorn*
Thanks for this, Luke, I'm cleaning my aunts house tomorrow.
Mr. Whiskers |
BTW Crummock, Mr Whiskers perception is actually +20 now, not +2...
Only when wearing the headband. When taking a shower or something, he would remove it. :)
Einar 'Kinslayer' Bjornson |
So if we were going to sneak up on Mister Whiskers the time to do it would be while he is in the shower. Not very original, but I guess it works in the movies...
Oh. I'm back amongst the living for a while, leaving later this morning for a while. So I will only be on till around 9:00 then back in the afternoon...
GM Mort |
This would have been the original scolding:
"Not the petitioner Crummock, you ignoramous! " Greta thwacks Einar on his head to get his attention."His dead body! And we've got a limited supply of oils so don't waste them!"
"If I knew you were so dense, I would have done everything myself." Greta grumbles.
GM Mort |
I could have sworn that you were rubbing oils on his spirit..or was that an earlier edit? ;)
Mr. Whiskers |
As long as he doesn't mistake the oils for alcoholic spirits we should be fine!
GM Mort |
I'm hoping Crummock gets to do his own Reincarnation so he can go describe the whole thing in detail. Besides at this point of time, only him and I know the result of the table.
Einar 'Kinslayer' Bjornson |
ok, just a comment oh the reincarnation and what race here.
Since Crummock-I-Phail is 'beloved of the moon' and a lunar oracle he should come back as one of the 'lycanthrope' touched races skinborn roll a 10 sided dice, let fanglord get two chances ;)
GM Mort |
I will admit I'm lazy, but now do you know why I didn't really want Anton, Anatasia and all the Russian soldiers here?
I'd have to RP the dialogues for each and every one of them, and if I were that good at multiple Npc running, I wouldn't have said no to running heavy intrigue APs like Curse of Crimson Throne, Council of Thieves, for you lot.
Mr. Whiskers |
Did you change the table from the default? Seems to me it is a different plane, there are a lot more leshy than elves around.
Mr. Whiskers |
His gnome looks so grumpy!
Almost forgot to ask, how tall is he?
GM Mort |
He can answer that tomorrow.
Also Crummock - I made it barebones, since I get the impression you were never one on ceremony.
Crummock is currently human sized since he took the human form of the owlwere.
His gnome you can ask him yourself once he wakes up.
Around 3 ft. 2 in. – 3 ft. 8 in - that's male gnomes for you.
Crummock-i-Phail |
To answer briefly, before I go to work:
3'8"
Owlwere (as distinct from wereowl) is a magical beast; thanks to his 'Form of the Beast' Revelation, Crummock has been turning into one since level 11 (admittedly, for the fly speed, but now for the ability to be medium-sized).
GM Mort |
This is the map of the place you are in.
I got permission before I put it here. (LN, what can I say?)
I always felt that Crummock should have a chance to show you his demiplane, whatever happened.
I try not to let player's efforts go to waste.

Ahh, thank you, I should have gone and looked at the oracle revelations.
Nice map also!
Mr. Whiskers |
So, is Crummock getting a new starknife that is gnome sized? Or are you planning to always be shifted as an Owlwere?
GM Mort |
Do whatever shopping you need, then write up your planeshift whenever back to the grotto and write up what you want to do for the week.
I don't have anything planned for you for the week.
Dimitri will blab to Anton and the other Russian soldiers on what happened to Crummock, so there isn't any point keeping it from them. Because Lawful Neutrals are honest that way.
When you're done we can get back to the last section of ROW.
GM Mort |
The reason why I'm not writing the entire party planeshift back, is because there is no reason for them to.
Only Mr Whiskers needs to, if he wants to copy spells. Dimitri would also ask for the planeshift back, so he can yak with his Russian buddies. The rest of the party can chill out on Crummock's demiplane until it's time to proceed with plot.
I see no reason not to let everyone choose how they want to spend their week of rest and recreation.
Mr. Whiskers |
I haven't had time to figure out what shopping I need beyond the metamagic reach rod, remaining mossy Ioun stones, and goggles that let you see through fog...forgot their name.
Hopefully I will have time tomorrow to do the shopping list.
As soon as shoppers is done, Mr. Whiskers intends to head back.
Is there anything that either Dmitri or Greta need which the group should provide?
GM Mort |
Goz mask for see through fog. Since Crummock's back with you lot...eh I don't really think you need my help on what to buy.
GM Mort |
Reach rods usage for spontaneous spellcasters is a full round action, sadly, so the reach rod needs to be in your glove of storing.
If Crummock is remaining on his demiplane, Dimitri would likely want to bounce back and forth between the grotto and Crummock's demiplane, and possibly Axis.
GM Mort |
Good point - there's the show Crummock around Axis part as well. Well Crummock can handle the planeshift, but Dimitri needs to apply for the visas first.
