Note that because Hadjii has Flyby Attack, he can cast his spell, and continue his move -- ducking back where few can see him...

and Hadjii may not be willing to give the mask up to demons! Mr McDougal has some 'splainin' to do...

...luckily, Telepathic Bond is still up -- before his turn, Findlay will telepathically communicate with the druid. He'll explain that his staff provides nondetection (Hadjii already knows this), and double nondetection will keep Hakotep from finding the mask (Hadjii tends to defer to the arcanist on such things). Thus, he tells Hadjii, it makes sense for the druid to demorph back to human, and give Findlay the mask for safekeeping...

(so the plan for next turn will be for Findlay to delay initiative until just after Hadjii's turn -- then he'll Dimension Door adjacent to the now human druid holding the mask: Findlay will use a Mythic Point for an extra action to take the mask -- and his move action will include some Dimensional Slide, to get right back to the demons!)

(of course, Hakotep goes before Hadjii and Findlay get another turn: will his next action mess up the plan? )

note that Findlay is in a position to Counterspell, if Hakotep starts casting something...

Do we have any fire resistance up at present? I was looking but didn't see any. It should be noted that meteor swarm is 4 separate fire balls, and would be resisted separately by fire resistance. This if we do have fire resistance 30 up, likely it won't do anything.

Canaan will use absorb blow on the meteor swarm

At one point Amarantha said he cast a list of spells on the group. Some of them were single target, so I'm a bit fuzzy on if she meant everyone. If so Freedom of Movement was among them and Hemket was not grappled.

Need to know what she actually did.

Fire resist would take effect for each meteor. Not sure if it was cast though. Also, Im not sure Absorb Blow would reduce 4 times. It says per spell, not per damaging effect. Likely moot since I think Fire resist was cast.

Yeah, that's probably right. I was thinking it gave resistance, and while it does, it's only going to be 10/fire from the absorb blow.

he can Quicken 9th-level spells -- maybe he really is a gawd...

I did not see Resist Fire cast: Aramantha cast Resist Cold, and Hadjii cast Resist Acid. Several of our foes have demonstrated they know us pretty well, and did not use fire on us because we usually have Resist Fire up -- I guess we thought Hakotep would be like that...

Mr McDougall does have a Lesser Ring of Fire Resistance -- pathetic, I know, but at least it stops 10 points of fire damage...

is there an add to the 2d10 the baboons do for damage? if not little damage is getting past the elemental's DR of 10...

The Hadj telepahically listens to Findlay's argument: he sure doesn't like the idea of taking off the mask -- but even worse is Hakotep getting the mask! He morphs human, and holds action until Findlay appears; then he doffs the mask and hands it to the arcanist for protection...

He also yells in auran, directing the air elementals to bring their captives over to where he is...those without a captive are to try grabbing the little man there!

when Hadjii says he's ready, Findlay uses a Mythic Point to cast Dimension Door, appearing just north of Hadjii; then uses a Mythic Point for an extra action to take the mask, and heads back -- with 55' of Dimensional Slide to get next to the demons...

as he presses the mask into the nearest demon's hand:

"Here ya go! Don't forget to flip that creep the bird before you go..."

then, having only 44 hitpoints left, Findlay awaits death. He will, however, watch Hakotep -- partially to see the ancient douchebags's reaction to the demons getting the mask, but mostly hoping to Counterspell an evil spell...

I guess that means Hemket didn't get grappled, and was unharmed by the meteor swarm other than being prone and deaf now.

Using the absorb blow he's down 15 from the bludgeoning, nothing from the fire. His DR is up to 8/ now.

I know it's a lot going on, trust me i wish yall woulda just gave him the mask to start lol.. And yes he has the wealth of a level 20 PC so that affords greater quickening rods Findlay.. He is not a god, but a CR 20+ is close enough.

With Resist Fire up the meteor swarm did no fire damage so.. I kinda forgot he had Greater Arcane sight up, so that's kinda mad bad.

I already figured in the damage reduction for the elemental's Hadjii.

All of the Baboon's are still being held in the air with slowly signs of damage starting to show. Hadjii's earth elemental breaks down another pillar.Not sure what your going for there..

Hemket fire's at a golem, striking it.

Can makes some inpressive moves but when he reaches 10' from the mummy lord some unseen barrier stops him. Not sure if you have the "cut magic barriers down feat or w/e its called"..

Canaan doesn't have any way to dispel magic (or a mythic ability to smash barriers). The dispel magic thing is dwarf only with a huge feat train.

Hakotep waits till the Demons go..

The demons go and unfortunately have deceived Findlay. Your SM is not near enough to beat the bluff of the demon. Yall needed to roll really high on the diplomacy, which you did. Unfort you also needed Hakotep to roll low, which he didn't..

The demon with the mask teleports to beside Hakotep and hands him the mask..

Hakotep's action is to put the mask on.. Yall see the following take place.

The Mask of the Forgotten Pharaoh now covers the visage of the one for whom it was fashioned 6,000 years ago. For a moment, all is silent in the crypt. Then, light seems to flicker within the mask’s sightless eyes before slowly expanding to cover its entire golden surface. A ghostly figure rises above the pharaoh’s dead body—Hakotep as he appeared at the height of his reign: strong, determined, and ruthless. But then the form begins to dissipate, lose shape, and slowly blow away like rings of smoke in a breeze. Faint whispers of diminishing protest drift about the crypt, until they too disappear, leaving only the silence of a grave. At long last, the soul of the Sky Pharaoh passes on into the afterlife and the judgment that awaits there.

The golems drop to the ground, the force that operated them gone. Apparently reunited the ka, with the ib and ba did not have the effect he thought it would..

Unless yall have a want to fight the demons they disappear and combat is over.

I understand this may be a bit uneventful, but as written this was a possible ending and his main focus was to get the mask back so..

You all stand in the throne room with the body of the pharoah collapsed on the throne..

Hadjii immediately orders the earth elemental to stop smashing the columns! He goes ahead with his plan for the now lifeless golems, though — he directs the air elementals to drop ‘em in the water (or whatever that fluid-lookin stuff is) filling the corridor to the north...
