Interest Check: Legend of the Five Rings

Well,

My original L5R campaign I had here fizzled. I may have to close it and turn to a new chapter. For those that don't know, Legend of the Five Rings is set in Rokugan, and is basically a High Fantasy land set in Rokugan. A land based off Sengoku Japan but with magic that actually worked!

It is a land where Honor is as sharp as Steel.

I have not decided what system to use for this yet (R&K or d20). As I'm looking for people who are interested. The Era will be the Four Winds saga.

So, who are interested?

Oh I love L5R, both the card game as well as the RPG books. I have the 4th edition books.

L5R is a great setting. Would love to try to play.

If you do 4E I’m 100% in. Great setting and very fun. Would love to play a pacifist crane shugenja.

OK..I have not played much Lot5r, but I did read a bunch of the stories and love the setting. I think I once created a Crab warrior of somekind...lol. Willing to learn new system. What version will we play so I can start looking into character options??

I'll have to read the 4th edition book if we use that. :)

R&K might work from a philosophical stand point. My last L5R game was R&K using the 4th edition rules.

I've played the system lots. relatively simple once you know the rules and what you want to play.
