So our PC's where tracking a Blood Hag and her coven of vile sisters in the mountains of Cheliax to free a Changeling woman (and hopefully future ally) of "the Call".
During this a PC in our group MAY have come across a Ring with one Wish left on it in the Hag's treasure horde.
She then MAY have ACCIDENTIALLY wished while drunk for Queen Abrogail Thrune II of Cheliax to be covered in slimes and oozes while she slept in her royal bed chambers.
Sooo...yeahhh...we're being hunted by lots of assassins now.
Hahahahahaha...o_o

I realize this is a joke, but the Hellknights don't work for House Thrune or Cheliax. And while they often have similar goals, which means they also have similar interest in outcomes....
Though one of the developments in the ongoing metanarrative event is that Abrogail Thrune II has declared all Hellknight Orders are under her direct control. The response to this hasn't been wholehearted acceptance, mind you - Rack, Pyre, and Gate are an enthusiastic'yes', Godlaw and Nail are an enthusiastic 'no' and Chain and Scourge are splintered.
So the joke was just cursed with the gift of prophecy, or something.

Yeah, it's complicated and this is a relatively new part of the narrative IIRC.
And I viewed the groups that are accepting less as being 100% on board with Thrune, and more taking it is an opportunity to expand their control and influence for as long as their interests coincide, but it does mean a bit of kowtowing on their end...for now.

Every loyal Hellknight in a hundred mile radius of your approximate location, recieving a simultaneous Sending: "Find these infidels wherever they hide and -- oh, Prince of Darkness, it's everywhere! Scrub harder you peasants! -- kill them with extreme prejudice, whatever it takes!"
LOL! Thank you, that was truly funny. Heh.
