Ring of Wizardry in the Remaster

Is there anything in the Remaster that duplicates the effects of the classic ring of wizardry, or perhaps comes close to it?

My take was this sort of item was intentionally removed from the Remaster.

I had thought we would go the other way and see items which mirrored it for other traditions, but I guess not.

Why won't you just take a Ring of wizardry?

Remaster-only games are definitely a thing. Plus, if you're not plugged in to online community and you started with the Remaster, odds are you don't even know the RoW existed.

That works just fine for me, but half my characters are made for use by others, and not everyone's table has such freedom.

This is my assumption too. It felt like such a no-brainer for any arcane caster to have, and at least in the games I've played in the only reason every arcane caster didn't have one was because of their rarity.

The Endless Grimoire is similar, but is not tradition-locked.

It is currently also Legacy-only.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

It's very possible that we get it remastered into the Impossible Magic.

Ah, yes, that's reasonable. I'll guess we'll see what's in the Impossible magic.

But I suspect they really do not like simply giving slots anymore...

I hope so!
