Level 2 Items advice

I need advice for what 2 level 2 items I should grab as my starting wealth for a level 6 Cloistered Cleric with no STR.

level 2 items for a level 6 PC?

Uh, well, the benefits of adding an allied creature to the battle map are often underrated, so a 32gp Pyrite Rat is kinda amazing. It's not a consumable, but if it gets ~killed it'll trigger a one week cooldown.

Note that the rat form lasts an hour, so you can use it while walking a dangerous corridor for trap scouting, and then carry the activation forward into the next combat.

Kinda amazing for a L2 item.

Is just taking a lump sum and holding the cash not an option? If not, you can always choose 2x cold iron ingots (100gp each, the highest value for a common level 2 item) and immediately sell them back.

There's also the rat mentioned above or a goz mask.

Or you can have a carriage or hot air balloon for the novelty of it.

I always like free booze, either for you, or for your friends/targets/npcs, so Bottomless Stein and/or Flask of Fellowship are always nice to have, even on a much higher level character.

Wow that’s really cool. I can definitely see grabbing a bunch of those for scouting and setting off traps at higher levels, and there might be some shenanigans you can pull with having a disposable ally (better than your familiar for rune bombing for one).

Load up on these bad boys. Cheap saving throw protection, they’ll keep you alive. At really high level you might have to remove them for investment slots but hey that’s future you’s problem, if the campaign even gets that high level.
