Spellcasting Undead Symbiote? Is this possible?

Advice

Are there any rules (official or 3rd party) that allow for undead parasitic symbiotes that give abilities like extra spellcasting and which grow in power as the host grows in power? I ask as I have a PC who wants to play a crimson haired female Dhampir Thamaturge with an parasitic symbiote hand (aka somewhat similar to Vampire Hunter D).

I'm thinking either Deviant Feats, or a reskinning of Relics.

Sounds like a Crawling Hand familiar with the Cantrip Connection or Spellcasting familiar ability and the Absorb Famiar master ability that never leaves your space (unless severed).

If you're not a spellcaster with easy access to familiars, you can probably manage it with the Familiar Master or Familiar Sage archetypes.

I hope that helps.

Pathfinder 1 had a Vampire Hunter D book, which had its possessed hand line of feats carried over in the Haunted Heroes Handbook, which at least give a basis for what to look for.

- Bonus attack and damage with that hand (not a PF2 thing), bonus to Disable Device and Sleight of Hand (consider a +1 circumstance to Thievery), and a once per day swift action retrieval (maybe Quick Draw?)
- Reduce two-weapon penalties (not a PF2 thing), and the ability to perform one limited action per round when you're unconscious or paralyzed (for this, I would give the effects of Skittering Mask)
- Ability to pop off and act as a familiar (see Ravingdork's advice)
- Darkvision and immunity to flanking (if this is important, Fleshwarp's Augment Senses could be a basis)
- Get a knowledge and a mainly-done-with-a-hand skill as class skills (not a PF2 thing) and a once-per-day bonus on either (fine to look at any examples)

If you're willing to do a bit of homebrewing, you can use the OStilli Host archetype as a basis to build off of, and throw in some standard limited magic access feats for occult spell casting. I am talking about creating your own archetype, but this could be a good way to start as it is at least one of the things you're looking for: a symbiote that fuses with the host and lets them manipulate magic.

Almost any reflavoured spellcasting archetype.

From some of the other advice here, Witch archetype may be one of the top options because it also gives the Familiar.
