Kingmaker Campaign in Portland Oregon Looking for Additional Player

Pathfinder Second Edition General Discussion

DISCLAIMER: I could not find a recruitment section in the forums for offline groups/sessions, so I am posting it here, if anyone knows a better place to post this please let me know. Thank you.

Greetings Fellow Gamers,

I am running a Pathfinder 2E Kingmaker Campaign in the Portland-Metro area. I am looking for a well-rounded player to fill out our group. We currently have 4 players and a DM. We meet every other Friday night from 7pm until around 11pm-ish. Our group is solid and has been together over a year and looking to add a 5th, we are seeking a permanent member who loves a bit of Role-Playing as well as plenty of Roll-Playing. We are at a good point in the Story where we could easily implement a new player into the mix. I would prefer experienced gamers and veterans, however newbies are also welcome. If you are new, please make every effort to learn the rules prior to joining the group, there are many resources online. Consistency is a bonus. I look forward to hearing from you.

If interested, please respond to this post and/or send me a private message if you are interested. We can exchange information and get in contact.

Cheers,

Thank you Good Sir! But I believe that is for Online Campaigns, mine is good old fashion offline. I will post there as well anyways.

You are right, actually! We do not have a section of the forums dedicated to Offline recruitment right now, and it's something I have brought up with the team. What we really need is a bigger "Looking for Group" section of the forums which could then be split between Online and Offline, etc. Hopefully since we're working on a new website, which also means new forums, this is something we'll include. I'm hoping so at least.

That would be a much welcomed addition, it can be a bit hard for people to navigate the forums to find a game in their local area. Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness into the matter!

You're very welcome! You'll be happy to know I told the team my idea of this a few weeks ago, and it's something I'm pretty passionate about. Here's hoping it's something we can do!

Maya, we’ve had vague reports of this project since…early 2024, but nothing since. I feel the community could well be served with an update on what should be a fairly momentous shift both to the online store and what has become a beloved and (for many) safe and welcoming online space.

Can you find out from those powers that be (Jim Butler et al?!?) if you or whoever is best placed to give us that update…could…and soon?

Thank you in advance.

You are right in that this is a momentous shift! I can confirm that since I've joined the team, it's been being worked on, but all I know right now is that the change is coming soon. I don't have any more specific details, but I can say that as soon as I do have dates, it'll be my job to report those dates to you, and I will.
