Scrolls

Advice

I am looking for a way to make casting from scrolls more efficient. Is there anything the equivalent of a potion patch for scrolls? I just want to be able to draw and cast from a scroll for two actions.

You have the Inscribed trait (so mostly Scroll Robes).
And items to draw for free, like the Retrieval Belt.

That's those I know of.

Also, you can use a Familiar with Independent and Manual Dexterity to hand you a Scroll every 2 rounds.

Overall, all these methods work if you know what you want to cast. But it's harder to choose from multiple Scrolls outside high level Retrieval Belts.

Could Arcane Tattoos help this to some extent?

Don't forget Retrieval Prisms while you are at it. For 12gp a pop, at higher levels they can do some real work.

I didn't know about it. It's now on my shopping list :D

Look into the most OP L1 feat in the game, Scroll Thaumaturgy. It's not draw for free, but it's hold in your weapon hand for free.

Technically that is only accurate if you are playing Weapon Implement.

Though in practical terms a Thaumaturge is going to be holding an Implement in at least one of their hands. So they could hold a scroll in that hand for free.

And maybe not entirely free depending on how the GM rules regarding the debate of Implement's Empowerment and holding a scroll (which is not an Implement, one weapon, or Esoterica).

If you are Thaumaturge you can make your own daily supply of Retrieval Prisms however.

Use a scroll with a 1-action spell like Jump or Sure Strike.

"You are technically correct, the best kind of correct."
