The spell is called Summon Robot but doesn't require the creature you summon to have the Robot trait, only the Tech trait. This opens it up to a wide variety of creatures that seem to be unintentional, such as certain gremlins and zombies. This wasn't errataed AFAICT so I'm not sure if it's intentional or something that was missed.

I have no way of knowing what was intended or not, but here are my thoughts on it.
Just being able to summon creatures with the robot trait would be very limited, or at least very limited in the playtest.
Calling it "summon tech" would have confused people even more making it sound like you could summon any type of tech like a comm unit.
Calling it "summon creature with the tech trait" would be too long.
Is it worth having two spells one for just robots and one for non-robot creatures with the tech trait.
If robots didn't also have the tech trait, that would be a problem worth fixing.

Cybernetic Zombie is fine, because there are options to make cybernetic zombies that are purely technological without the undead trait according to Second Contact. Even then, a tech zombie is essentially a robot with a biological chassis when you look at what it actually is.
Even then, I don't think a bit of overlap between some Summon spells is a bad thing. Both Summon Undead and Summon Robot sharing Cybernetic Zombies seems a fair enough overlap.
