The game have many initial and end round effects that can cause damage in the beginning and end of turn but thralls doesn't have a turn. I supose that this is linked to necromancer turn and will happen when the necromancer turn starts or ends but we need a clarification in the trait to avoid different interpretations in different tables.
This will deal with how thralls will be affected by enemy Thermal Nimbus or damage aura effects like Aura of Flame.

Yeah, I covered that in my feedback thread as well. It's unclear whether or not thralls are part of the turn order and how they interact with start/end of turn effects.
Also what happens if you create a thrall in an area effect that deals damage at the start of a creature's turn? Does the thrall take that damage immediately? At the start of the Necromancer's next turn? Not at all?

Same timing as those things would affect the Necromancer (if they were impacted). That's how other things that don't get their own turn like minions work: their "turn" happens on the PC's turn.
If it was the Necromancer the thing was happening to, when would it happen? It happens on the same timing for thralls.

Not exactly. These effects usually are more higher levels when you can have more than one thrall and rarely are larger than 15 ft. So you still have options.
Also if the effect happens in the beginning of your turn your thralls created in that turn will survive until your next turn providing flanking and maybe reactions your main problem will by into accumulate thralls inside the enemy aura.
The worse case is when the effect happens in the end of your turn. In this case your thrall closer to enemy aura may be killed after your use your actions.
The worse situation is when the aura applies damage when you enter. In this cause the main necromancer ability will be inviable and necromancer will need to focus into other targets outside the aura ou in use other spells or stronger thralls.
Aditionally if the aura damage requires a reflex save osteomancers have a chance to roll a DC 15 per thrall to it survives. But honestly I want that this was extended to any AoE damage requiring or not checks.
