Recruitment

I have a few adventure ideas and am feeling the urge to explore one of these below.

Choose your top three

1: evil forgotten realms adventure, where you are scouts for the Zhentarum keeping the black road "safe". 12th level

2: pvp tomb of horrors. Can you survive the tomb of horrors? How far can you last if your companion wants to stick a dagger in your back? 10th level

3: wheel of time adventure. More of a slice of life, do gooder hero adventure. 12th level

4: pathfinder 1e: breaking into prison. Basically, your testing out a prisons security features. 12-15th level. Not sure on level yet

5: shadowrun! Summed up: "wait, demons exist?!?!"

6:forgotten realms: undermountain. Need i say more? 7th level

First, caveats and questions: I’ve never played Shadowrun, and would prefer to stay away from PVP. What system would the Wheel of Time game be? What edition for Forgotten Realms? 3.5? 5e?

All that said, Pathfinder would be my first choice, but I’m open to FR (more so if it’s 3.5).

Well Pyros, Shadowrun can be amazing, but we should ask for that version also, it has MANY. Ditto on PvP for me as well.
Would love to know the system for WoT too :)

(and Pyros is always going to be easier to type)

Where's Robotech?

FR would be 3.5 setting

Shadowrun... 4th.

Wheel of time is 3.0, but ive got solid homebrew rules that integrate it to a blended 3.0/pathfinder ruleset.

Never played robotech, but i know its based off of palladium/rifts.

Hmmmm... palladium. Havent played that in a long long time. Tried doing rifts on here years ago, but its such a hot mess that it doesnt translate to pbp well

LOLOLOLOL well if we went down the Palladium road, my vote would be for Heroes Unlimited

Cthulhu type run-through in any format would find my interest.

Curious... what do you mean by 'slice of life'?

I'm up for 5,4,1 in that order.

4th is my favorite Shadowrun edition Would we be from an organization or just a runner group in the wrong place?

If the FR is 3.5, could we do PF1 with adding the FR stuff? It's been quite a while since I've dusted off my 3.5 books.

Start out in a small village, doing small villager stuff. Thered be lots of rp for this, and then late at night, something happens that kicks off the adventure.

Yes we would be doing that. We can tweak some 3.5 stuff to fit pathfinder easier.

Id like to, but my knowledge of him and the old gods, and running a cosmic horror theme is a little out of my wheel house. Ive read some of lovecrafts books, but the materiel doesnt stick well in my head, allowing me to translate that to rpg format

Grand Lodge

Wheel of Time would be cool

Never Played Shadow Run but have that edition on my self and would love to try it

though Undermountian.

hmm one of those three would work with Undermountian being #1

I would sell the souls of the entire population of Waterdeep to play in #1, lol

3 could be super interesting, as I love WoT(used to actually be in a free form WoT RP on FB).

And 6, cuz more FR, and haven't played around in Undermountain yet.

Dark Archive

I would be interested in 3, 4, 5, or 6.

so far, WOT, Shadowrun and Undermountain are the contenders.

Let's sweeten the pot, shall we?

WOT: it would take place Post tarmon Gai'don, 200 years in the future. The Dragon's Peace is threatened with the discovery of a stasis box that holds ter'angreal of momentous power! A darkness, unheard of for millennia, begins to grow to the south, an unseen threat to the world.

Shadowrun: Johnson hires you to "perform corporate sabotage". Players discover that they are playing in a league that is way, way, way out of their paygrade.... (this would be 4th edition. I will admit, i am rusty at this game. )

Undermountain: Good ole dungeon crawl. basic synopsis "it was there". Go in, explore, kill monsters, keep treasure. I know i have the old forgotten realms ADnD campaign setting.... somewhere in my house.... im sure i have it....

My vote would be Undermountain.

1, 4, 6.

Of those, Undermountain would be my choice.

of the sweetened pot:
Wheel of Time, then, Undermountain

AND, now that the pot is sweetened, let me stir it:

I have ZERO need for another crunch-grinder
So if Undermountain is going to be another spin through caricatures who roll dice & 90 day combats to move ahead one room & the characters never speak to each other & being in the Realms at all has absolutely no meaning ... yeah no, I'm good, my roster is pretty full of those already thanks

Thanks for clarifying!

Put me down for #3 and only #3.

Looks like undermountain is the winner.

Im gonna have to look for my books on it.

To respomd evindyls statement: nahhh, those combats only last 89.98 days. Lol

Nah, id expect a blend, for something like this, a 60/40 combat to rp.

Im going to make a seperate recruitment for the undermountain

Wee great
