How does everyone feel about getting Heightened Heroism (6th) for Bards that primarily use Inspire Courage with Lingering composition and occasionally Inspire Heroics. To me it seems the additional +1 to attack rolls/saves/perceptions checks/skill checks for a 6th level spell slot may not be the best use of that spell slot. However I wanted to hear from everyone else, would anyone else consider getting this spell under these circumstances?

Its definitely somewhat redundant for a Bard with their compositions, and there's a lot of good stuff at that spell level.
That said, its not a BAD choice, as it could help save actions in some cases and it can apply to skills when its inconvenient to inspire competence.

In-combat, the offense buff is mediocre, but the defensive buff remains quite good in terms of Saves. Out of combat, it's a really awesome buff since it entirely stacks with Inspire Competence (giving people +4 to their Skill checks whenever you really need them to pass one is super good). For such a character I'd call it a utility/defensive spell with an offensive combat application rather than a offensive spell per se.
So it depends on what kind of spell you're looking for.

I must admit I don't like Heroism at all. I find that the bonus is not worth the action cost, even for a Cleric/Sorcerer. So, if you're used to cast Inspire Courage, I think it's even worse. Don't you have Inspire Heroics, by the way?
Strangely, I've been a full-support Bard player since 3.5 and I really dislike PF2 version of both the Bard and buff spells. I end up having 7 PFS character and none of them is a Bard despite the fact that it was the first class I've looked at on the playtest pdf...

Since its duration, it's definitely nice if you know that you'll have a boss ahead ( or simply if you plan to clear many rooms within 10 minutes ).
I probably won't use it during combat, but I could consider bringing one ( mostly with a cleric, since a bard already has alternatives with compositions ).
Mandatory if you plan to suceed a st by rolling a 2+ ( with some builds, but this would be min max ).
