Rage of Elements is now out and sanctioned. It contains an updated Ability Glossary and, in particular, changes to how the Grab and Knockdown monster abilities work. When running PFS games which version of these abilities should we be using?

At least until AoN gets updated the answer had better be "the old version" because lots of GMs don't have access to Rage of Elements.

Alex has confirmed it the old version for now.

I usually depend on SFS sanctioning comments to note and fix (or at least not approve) broken abilities in new products, but there were some misses in this on the kineticist composite impulses.

Rain of Rust is missing a duration.

Roiling Mudslide is missing a size for its AOE.

Both need clarification or should probably be unsanctioned, as they can't be adjudicated as published.

PFS does not use the remastered rules until the full Player Core and GM Core are released.

Hi, Alex. Can you say whether our current PFS characters will have the option of rebuilding some or all of their features and abilities to match the remastered rules?

Thanks.

May I still say "spell rank?"
