I am not entirely certain it is needed, but I wonder how everyone here would feel about a Lost Omens Remastered, with the focus being on those books that have a decent amount of rules content. I could see giving the Remaster treatment to:

Lost Omens: World Guide
Lost Omens: Character Guide
Lost Omens: Gods & Magic
Lost Omens: Ancestry Guide

With some of the content of these books moving to the Remaster Core books I can see an argument where these could be remastered as the Setting Core Four and either expanding on the current material or bringing in material from other books. Expanding material might be giving a full page to each continent to fill in for content moved to the Core. Or bringing content in from other books such as replacing Leshy with Shoony since Leshy are moving to Core. But I could also see an argument where this is overkill.

I would love to hear all of your thoughts if you feel like sharing.

I'm still buying and using PF1 setting material, so I wouldn't be the least bit interested in seeing any effort at duplicating already published setting information. I'd much rather see new Lost Omens books than waste time re-reading rehashed information from old books.

Also, until we see the magnitude of the changes in Player Core 2 (a year from now) I think it's premature to speculate about what materials in the LO line need revisions.

Give me new stories, new settings, and adjustments going forward. Not at all concerned about more old stuff being repackaged.

Isn't the point of the remaster that all of the existing material in the books that aren't being replaced by the new core books still works as well as it ever did?

Like we haven't seen too many details, but I'm pretty sure that you can still play like a Kitsune Psychic with the remaster rules and you won't really need to change anything.

They're still compatible, no remastering needed.

Keep that Lost Omens team making glorious new content, not tweaking the bonuses on years-old Archetypes.

We'll probably get a conversion document for some things that are no longer workable as is (Arcane Cascade, for example, or how the new FP system might impact the Psychic), but I don't expect a book. For the various deities, all we'd need is their stance on sanctification.

I believe they said erratas will come for things that aren't in the core books but need changes, for lost omen stuff I imagine this would include things like red mantis assassin magic's spell schools since those are going away

Thank you everyone for sharing your thoughts. I feel much more confident with the idea that their isn't a need for a Lost Omens Remaster.

It's also important to note that some of the stuff in those books is being remastered anyway. The ancestries from Character Guide are being spread through both of the Player Core books, for example.
