Hello everyone,
I am excited to get the Crown of the Kobold King PDFs and run a new set of young gamers through it for their first real 2e adventure.
In the past when preparing for VTT I have always been able to just copy the map and paste it in a paint document then just upload that as a Map image in Roll20. But with this PDF I just keep getting the page background for every copied image. I can share the cool art or the maps unless I Screen capture the PDF and then crop out the extra stuff. This is fine for Images but doing that with the maps would mean I would need to edit out the room numbers and other things I don't want my players to see while adventuring on the map.
I do have the digital Flip map to go with it but it just gave me two maps, leaving a lot of the content out. So that doesn't help me.
Are there any suggestion or advice to get the Maps like I do when i get An Adventure path? Was this done on purpose to prevent what I am trying to do or something? I do have Foundry but I am unfamiliar with it and have a very busy life just like all of you great people so I just stick with Roll20 because that is what I am most familiar with and can whip up a map and tokens very fast.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and commenting if you choose to.

When I run into this issue with other pdfs, it's usually some weirdness with how the objects are layered I think. Adobe Acrobat has a built-in utility that can dump everything to a folder when stuff like that happens. Alternatively, maybe try deleting or moving whatever you select if you have the option until you get to the image you need underneath.
